Crotta O'Neill's are a hurling club in the Kilflynn area of County Kerry, Ireland. The club is named after Maurice O'Neill, an Irish Republican. They play in the Kerry Senior Hurling Championship. The club is primarily concerned with the game of hurling. Their pitch is located in Dromakee.

Its southern border is formed by the river Shannow, its eastern by the Castletown road to Kilflynn Village, and the land is traversed by the Ballyconnell road from Kilflynn to the R557 Abbeydorney road. The area covers 146.5 hectares (362 acres) of rural land.

Lixnaw (Irish: Leic Snámha, meaning 'swimming flagstone') is a village in North County Kerry, Ireland. It is located near the River Brick 11 km (6.8 mi) SW of Listowel and 17 km (11 mi) NE of Tralee.

Cappagh (Irish:An Cheapaigh) is a townland of County Kerry, Ireland. It is one of the sixteen ancient townlands of the parish of Kilflynn. It consists of a strip of land lying in the middle of the parish extending to its southern border. The northern part is crossed by the N69 Tralee-Listowel road and the western boundary is partly the River Rea, a tributary of the Shannow river. The eastern border lies along the Cloonnafinneela road. The townland consists of 210 ha (520 acres) of largely rural land. Immediately to the south of Cappagh stand the 31 turbines of the Tursillagh I and II wind farms, with a total nominal power of 22,080 megawatts.

Lixnaw Hurling Club is a Gaelic Athletic Association club in the north of County Kerry, Ireland. They primarily play in competitions organised by the Kerry County Board of the GAA, such as the Kerry Senior Hurling Championship, and also in competitions organised by the North Kerry Hurling Board. The club is principally concerned with the game of hurling but many of their players also play gaelic football, many with Finuge. The club has won 9 Kerry Senior Hurling Championships, 10 Kerry Minor Hurling Championships and 5 Kerry Under-21 Hurling Championships.

The Stack's Mountains are a range of hills northeast of Tralee in County Kerry, Ireland. Traditionally they are deemed part of the hilly region known as Sliabh Luachra (anglicised 'Slieve Logher'), which also includes the Mullaghareirk Mountains. The highest peak in the range is Crusline, which is 355 metres high. Nearby summits include Ballincollig Hill (353 m), Beennageeha Mountain (321 m), and Stack's Mountain (Irish: Cnoc an Stacaigh; 323 m).

Abbeydorney Abbey, also known as Kyrie Eleison Abbey or Odorney was founded by the O Torna, chieftain of the region, in 1154 for the Cistercians from Monasteranenagh.The abbey was the daughter-house of Nenay Abbey in County Limerick, and was the only medieval Cistercian house in County Kerry. The name given by the Cistercians, Kyrie Eleison (from Greek: Lord Have Mercy) was in accordance with the order's tradition of giving names which reflected the locality - in this instance the word Kyrie (Lord) being similar to Ciarrai (County Kerry). The first abbot was Christian O Conarchy who retired to the abbey where he spent his remaining years, being buried there in 1186.A subsequent abbot was deposed in 1227 after being involved in the Conspiracy of Mellifont. The foundation was dissolved in 1537. The remains visible today include the 15th century abbey church with west tower and some of the claustral buildings. The grounds are largely occupied by gravestones and are currently in use as a cemetery.

Located 9 kilometres (6 mi) north of the county town of Tralee, the village had a population of 418 as of the 2016 census of Ireland. Abbeydorney falls within the civil parish of O'Dorney.
