Mårum railway station

Saltrup halt is a railway halt serving the village of Saltrup in North Zealand, Denmark. Saltrup is located on the Gribskov Line from Hillerød to Gilleleje. The train services are operated by the railway company Lokaltog which runs frequent local train services between Hillerød station and Gilleleje station.

Mårum is a town in the Gribskov Municipality in North Zealand, Denmark. It is located six kilometers east of Helsinge and four kilometers north of Kagerup. As of 2023, it has a population of 235.

Græsted South halt (Danish: Græsted Syd Trinbræt; previously: Pibemose Trinbræt) is a railway halt serving the southern part of the town of Græsted in North Zealand, Denmark. Græsted South is located on the Gribskov Line from Hillerød to Gilleleje. The train services are operated by the railway company Lokaltog which runs frequent local train services between Hillerød station and Gilleleje station.

Kagerup railway station is a railway junction located in the central part of the Gribskov forest, about 1 km (0.62 mi) west of the village of Kagerup in North Zealand, Denmark. Kagerup railway station is located on the Gribskov Line. At Kagerup the railway line from Hillerød splits into two branches to the seaside resort towns of Tisvildeleje and Gilleleje. The train services are operated by the railway company Lokaltog which runs frequent local train services from Hillerød station to Tisvildeleje station and Gilleleje station.

Græsted is one of the main towns of the Gribskov municipality in the Danish Region Hovedstaden. The town is in northern Sjælland, just south of Gilleleje, and has a population of 3,581 (1 January 2023). The whole of Græsted Parish had 4769 inhabitants (2004).

Gribskov (Grib Forest) is Denmark's fourth largest forest, comprising c. 5,600 ha of woodland situated in northern Zealand, west and south of Lake Esrum. The forest is owned and administered by the State of Denmark, and a part of the Kongernes Nordsjælland National Park. In July 2015, it was one of three forests included in a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Par force hunting landscape in North Zealand.Gribskov is usually divided into four sections: The northwest surrounding the small village of Maarum, the northeast on the banks of Lake Esrum, the southwest around the small lake of Gribsø and finally the southeast, enclosing the village of Nødebo on the southern banks of Lake Esrum. Only a thin strip of Hillerød town in the south separates Gribskov from many larger woodlands such as Store Dyrehave at 1,100 ha, Tokkekøb Hegn at 631 ha and several smaller woods.

Græsted station is a railway station serving the town of Græsted in North Zealand, Denmark. Græsted station is located on the Gribskov Line from Hillerød to Gilleleje. The station was opened in 1880 with the opening of the Hillerød-Græsted section of the Gribskov Line. The train services are operated by the railway company Lokaltog.

Nordsjællands Veterantog (NSJV) was founded as Helsingør Jernbaneklub in 1958 as a model railway club in Helsingør, Denmark. The club had its ups and downs in the early years, but the big turning point was when it was decided to try and work with scale 1:1. In 1968, the first service was operated and soon the club had turned into a heritage railway rather than a model railway club. Acitivies soon grew and kept doing so steadily over the years. In 1992 it was decided to reorganise activities, essentially creating a foundation to take care of "business" issues. This foundation is the proper hold of the name Nordsjællands Veterantog, which translations into Heritage Railway of North Zealand. The club was responsible for the maintenance and operations, and this was renamed in 1995 to Nordsjællands Jernbaneklub (Railway Club of North Zealand) in order to match the name of the foundation. NSJV has never owned their own tracks. Instead, services are operated on regular railway tracks used by operators such as DSB and Lokaltog. Services run mostly in Northern Zealand, with scheduled services running on weekends and Wednesdays throughout the summer. Activities are based around two locations: The old station in Græsted is the home of the foundation and the club and also houses maintenance for carriages and diesel locomotives, whereas Rungsted depot is the home of the steam locomotives. Operational locomotives include three steam locomotives, two diesel locomotives, and various shunting and service vehicles. Both depots are now owned by NSJV. In 2009, restored steam locomotive DSB K-582 entered service after a long project to bring it back to life. It has been restored to the class K look with the new, larger boiler and round dome. While it is still air-braked and thus has a Knorr pump on the side, most components of the air braking system (including the tanks) have been hidden from view to get as close as possible to the vacuum-braked look. The Rungsted depot is now being prepared for the next major project, the restoration of DSB S-740, which was featured in the James Bond movie Octopussy. Work still continues in the Græsted depot on the GDS L1 locomotive.

Kagerup is a village in the Gribskov Municipality in North Zealand, Denmark. It is located six kilometers southeast of Helsinge and 10 kilometers north of Hillerød. As of 2023, it had a population of 403. Kagerup is served by Kagerup railway station, located on the Gribskov railway line, about 1 km (0.62 mi) west of the village.
