The CBV Institute (French: L’Institut des CBV), formerly known as the Canadian Institute of Chartered Business Valuators (CICBV), is a Canadian business valuation organization. The CBV Institute is a not-for-profit valuation professional organization that establishes the practice standards, educational requirements, and ethical guidelines for its members. The Chartered Business Valuator (CBV) (French: Experts en Evaluation d’Entreprises (EEE)) designation is a credential for business valuation professionals in Canada. CBVs are governed by The Canadian Institute of Chartered Business Valuators. CBVs quantify the value of a business, its securities, or its intangible assets. CBVs use a variety of valuation methodologies to arrive at a conclusion, and explain their approach, methodology and conclusions in an easy to understand manner. Various approaches used include asset-based approaches (liquidation, adjusted net book value), return-based approaches (capitalized earnings, capitalized cash flows, discounted cash flows), and market-based approaches (comparable company multiples). In the context of litigation, CBVs quantify the damages or losses arising in a legal dispute.

The Hyatt Regency Toronto is a 394-room, 19-floor hotel in the Entertainment District of Toronto, Ontario. The hotel opened as a Holiday Inn in 1990 and has been operated by Hyatt since 2009.

The Inside Out Film and Video Festival, also known as the Inside Out LGBT or LGBTQ Film Festival, is an annual Canadian film festival, which presents a program of LGBT-related film. The festival is staged in both Toronto and Ottawa. Founded in 1991, the festival is now the largest of its kind in Canada. Deadline dubbed it "Canada’s foremost LGBTQ film festival."The organization also presents a series of film screenings throughout the year outside of the dedicated festival, as well as a touring program of short film screenings in smaller towns and cities within Southern Ontario. The organization's current executive director is Lauren Howes, who succeeded Andria Wilson in 2021.

TIFF Bell Lightbox is a cultural centre in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, located in the first five floors of the Bell Lightbox and Festival Tower on the north west corner of King Street and John Street. TIFF Bell Lightbox features five cinemas, two restaurants, major exhibitions and galleries, a gift shop, rooftop terrace, and learning studios. It is the headquarters for the Toronto International Film Festival, as well as serves throughout the year as a venue for other film screenings and smaller specialty film festivals.

The Beloit International Film Festival (BIFF) is an annual film festival in Beloit, Wisconsin, usually held in mid-February. The first edition of the festival took place in 2006. BIFF has evolved from a single weekend to now span 10 days and seven venues. Most venues are in downtown Beloit and within easy walking distance between each. With more than 300 volunteers, it is a community-wide effort, welcoming filmmakers from across the nation and around the world.

Expo for Design, Innovation & Technology (EDIT) is a 10-day festival launched by the Design Exchange (DX) in partnership with the United Nations Development Programme(UNDP). It is also supported by the Government of Ontario and its Ontario150 Program. The festival has received a $1.75 million investment from the Government of Ontario in 2017. The festival focuses on design, innovation and technology solutions and highlights the potential that the design industry has to solve issues on a global scale. The first annual festival took place in Toronto from September 28 to October 8, 2017, with a capacity of approximately 100,000 visitors. The overall theme to EDIT was "Prosperity For All". It was inspired by the United Nations Development Program's (UNDP) Global Goals for Sustainable Development. The theme was portrayed through an art installation by designer Bruce Man, so co-founded Massive Change Network. It featured large black and white images of global conflict like pollution, genocide, and terrorism.

Minikino Film Week, Bali International Short Film Festival (MFW) is an annual International short film festival in Bali, Indonesia. MFW was initiated in 2015, organized by the Minikino committee as its parent organization, which has been working in this field since 2002. The organization and MFW is under Indonesian legal entity; Yayasan Kino Media.

The Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF, often stylized as tiff) is one of the largest publicly attended film festivals in the world, attracting over 480,000 people annually. Since its founding in 1976, TIFF has grown to become a permanent destination for film culture operating out of the TIFF Bell Lightbox, located in Downtown Toronto. TIFF's mission is "to transform the way people see the world through film".Year-round, the TIFF Bell Lightbox offers screenings, lectures, discussions, festivals, workshops, industry support, and the chance to meet filmmakers from Canada and around the world. TIFF Bell Lightbox is located on the north west corner of King Street and John Street in downtown Toronto. In 2016, 397 films from 83 countries were screened at 28 screens in downtown Toronto venues, welcoming an estimated 480,000 attendees, over 5,000 of whom were industry professionals. TIFF starts the Thursday night after Labour Day (the first Monday in September in Canada) and lasts for eleven days. Founded in 1976, TIFF is now one of the largest and most prestigious events of its kind in the world. In 1998, Variety acknowledged that TIFF "is second only to Cannes in terms of high-profile pics, stars, and market activity". In 2007, Time noted that TIFF had "grown from its place as the most influential fall film festival to the most influential film festival, period". This is partially the result of the festival's ability and reputation for generating "Oscar buzz".The festival's People's Choice Award—which is based on audience balloting—has emerged as an indicator of success during awards season, especially at the Academy Awards. Past recipients of this award include Oscar-winning films, such as Life Is Beautiful (1998), American Beauty (1999), Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon (2000), Slumdog Millionaire (2008), The King's Speech (2010), 12 Years a Slave (2013), La La Land (2016), Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri (2017), Green Book (2018), Jojo Rabbit (2019), and Nomadland (2020). The 2019 edition of the show was hosted by Nigerian model Anita Osikweme Osikhena. The 2022 Toronto International Film Festival took place from September 8 to 18, 2022.The festival's current executive director is Cameron Bailey.

Clarence Square is a small park in downtown Toronto, Ontario, Canada, where Wellington Street West meets Spadina Avenue. It is a relatively quiet and shady park, with many large trees and a spacious grassy terrain. There are several benches and picnic tables scattered throughout and a drinking fountain in the centre. The origins of the name of the square is unclear, but both are linked to members of the British Royal Family, Prince William Henry or Albert Victor, Duke of Clarence with the former being the likely name as the name appeared on maps in the 1850s.In the northwest corner of the park is a historical plaque honouring Alexander Dunn, born near the park, who was the first Canadian recipient of the Victoria Cross. In 1854, he was a participant in the charge of the Light Brigade at Balaclava, saving the lives of two fellow soldiers. Hugh John Macdonald, son of Prime Minister Sir John Alexander Macdonald also lived in the area (#304).Clarence Square is one of the oldest remaining park spaces in the downtown core of Toronto. The park became a largely neglected space however when the rail yards and industrial warehouses inhabited areas adjacent to the park. Today however, industry has left the neighbourhood and the area is primarily residential and commercial. Historic buildings along Clarence Square include: Clarence Terrace (5-15 and 6-16 Clarence Square) built in 1879-1890 Steele Briggs Seed Company warehouse or Clarence Square Building (originally as 2 Clarence Square now as 49 Spadina Avenue) 5 storey warehouse and office built in 1911-13

Grasett Park is situated at the corner of Adelaide Street West and Widmer Street in downtown Toronto, Canada. It is a public space that commemorates Dr. George Robert Grasett who, in the summer of 1847, gave his life to care for Irish migrants fleeing the Great Famine, many of whom arrived in Toronto sickened or dying from typhus, then known as ship fever. At the time, Toronto had merely 20,000 residents, and thus struggled to accommodate the more than 38,000 migrants who arrived in 1847 alone.Grasett Park is a companion site to nearby Ireland Park, which was completed in 2007. The Princess of Wales Theatre is a 2,000-seat live theatre in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It is located on King Street West, in Toronto's downtown Entertainment District. The theatre's name has a triple meaning: it honours Diana, Princess of Wales, with whose consent the theatre was named; it links the building to its sister theatre, the Royal Alexandra, one block to the east, also named – with Royal assent – for a former Princess of Wales; and it recalls the Princess Theatre, Toronto's first "first-class legitimate" playhouse, that stood three blocks to the east until 1931.

The Canadian Broadcasting Centre, also known as the CBC Toronto Broadcast Centre, is an office and studio complex located in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It serves as the main broadcast and master control point for the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation's English-language television and radio services. It also contains studios for local and regional French-language productions and is the headquarters of the North American Broadcasters Association. Two floors of the facility house the ad agency Bensimon Byrne and its subsidiaries Narrative and OneMethod.The analogous facility for CBC's French language services is Maison Radio-Canada in Montreal, while corporate headquarters are located at the CBC Ottawa Production Centre. The Canadian Broadcasting Centre is at 250 Front Street West in downtown Toronto, with additional entrances at 205 Wellington Street West and 25 John Street, directly across from the Metro Toronto Convention Centre. It is within walking distance of Union Station, the Rogers Centre, and the CN Tower and connected to the city's PATH underground walkway network.
