Derrymore (Irish: Doire Mór) is a rural district of County Kerry in south-west Ireland. It lies between the Slieve Mish mountains and the Atlantic Ocean, some 11 km (7 mi) west of Tralee on the Dingle peninsula. A sandy beach, known as Derrymore Strand, is quite popular with locals and tourists during the summer months. Derrymore Island is a nature reserve supporting many rare plant communities and is an important high-tide roosting area for shore birds.The name Derrymore is an anglicization of the Irish doire mór, meaning "great oak grove".

Caherconree (Irish: Cathair Conraoi, meaning ''Cú Roí’s stone fort') at 835 metres (2,740 ft), is the 20th–highest peak in Ireland on the Arderin scale, and the 27th–highest peak on the Vandeleur-Lynam scale. Caherconree is the 2nd-highest mountain in the Slieve Mish Mountains in the Dingle Peninsula in Kerry, Ireland, and one of its southerly spurs is the site of an ancient stone promontory fort, which is a protected National Monument.

Camp (Irish: An Com) is a village near the Slieve Mish Mountains in County Kerry, Ireland, on the Dingle Peninsula. It is close to the Dingle Way and is a destination for tourists.

Fenit Lifeboat Station is located at the Harbour in Fenit, a village sitting north of the Dingle Peninsula, and south of the River Shannon estuary, on the south west coast of Ireland. A lifeboat station was first established at Fenit in 1879 by the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI), and named Tralee Bay Lifeboat Station. The station currently operates the Trent-class lifeboat 14-27 Robert Hywel Jones Williams (ON 1239), on station since 1999, and the small D-class (IB1) Inshore lifeboat Lizzie (D-860), on station since 2022.

Baurtregaum (Irish: Barr Trí gCom, meaning 'top of the three hollows') at 851 metres (2,792 ft), is the 13th–highest peak in Ireland on the Arderin scale, and the 18th–highest peak on the Vandeleur-Lynam scale. Baurtregaum is situated at the centre of the massif of the Slieve Mish Mountains in the Dingle Peninsula in Kerry, Ireland, and is the tallest mountain of the Slieve Mish range, with a number of major subsidiary summits.

Fenit (Irish: An Fhianait) is a small village in County Kerry, Ireland, located on north side of Tralee Bay about 10 km (6 mi) west of Tralee town, just south of the Shannon Estuary. It is also a civil parish. The bay is enclosed from the Atlantic by the Maharee spit which extends northwards from the Dingle peninsula. Fenit harbour is a mixed function sea port, where fishing, freight import and export, and a 136 berth marina are the main forms of business. As of the 2016 CSO census of Ireland, Fenit had a population of 538 people.

Fenit Island is a populated island, on the coast of County Kerry, connected to the mainland by a sandbar. Located in Tralee Bay, the island encloses Barrow Harbour. Historically, the area was called 'Fenit Within'. It is adjacent to the areas of 'Tawlacht' and 'Fenit Without' on the mainland. The terms within/without refer to the walled protection that surrounded parts of the island from attackers from the landward side. The island is accessible by foot along the sandbar at most times, and by car at low tide, by driving on the beach. Many old ruins exist on the island, including a castle, two churches and a graveyard. The castle is the only one of these ruins that remain visible today. It was built by the FitzMaurices in the 17th century. Enclosing Barrow Harbour from Tralee Bay, to protect Barrow Harbour from seaborne attackers, an iron or steel chain (also known as boom) was stretched across the neck of water, between the mainland and the island near the castle. Saint Brendan the Navigator was born on Fenit Island.

Barrow Harbour is a tidal inlet off Tralee Bay, County Kerry, Ireland. Once this was the major port for the region, servicing the monastic settlement of Ardfert and the general area of Tralee. Barrow is overlooked by Tralee Golf Club, from which there are views of Tralee Bay and Banna Strand.A narrow entrance to the harbour was protected by Fenit Castle on Fenit Island. The ruins of the castle still remain. Historically, a harbour chain was connected across the entrance to the harbour, which could be raised to prevent the incursion of unwelcome visitors - pirates. Barrow House is located at the old quayside.

Tralee Golf Club is an 18-hole links golf course, at Barrow, near Tralee, County Kerry, Ireland.

Tralee Bay (Irish: Loch Foirdhreamhain / Cuan Thrá Lí) is located in on the west coast of County Kerry, Ireland. It is situated between Kerry Head on the north side and the Maharees on the west and extends eastwards as far as the bridge at Blennerville. Several small rivers feed into the bay through the town of Tralee. Villages around the bay include; Ballyheigue, Fenit, Kilfinora, Spa, Blennerville, Camp and Castlegregory.

Churchill GAA is a Gaelic Athletic Association club based near Spa outside Tralee in County Kerry, Ireland. They play in Division 1 of the county league and in the Kerry Junior Football Championship. All-Ireland medal winner Pat McCarthy previously played for the club. Churchill fields both women's and men's teams.

Spa (Irish: An Spá) is a village in County Kerry, Ireland. It is located on the R558 regional road between Tralee and Fenit, overlooking Tralee Bay. Spa lies in the historical barony of Trughanacmy.Spa is classified as a built up area by the Central Statistics Office, and had a population of 443 people as of the 2016 census. As of the 2020 school year, Spa's national (primary) school had an enrollment of 212 pupils. The local Gaelic football club is Churchill GAA.
