Pidcock Creek

The Thompson-Neely house is a historic house and farmstead in Solebury Township, Bucks County, Pennsylvania. It is part of Washington Crossing Historic Park, headquartered in nearby Washington Crossing. The oldest part of the house was built in 1702, according to the John Pidcock plaque. It was a temporary military hospital during the American Revolutionary War.

Bowman's Hill Wildflower Preserve is a 134-acre nature preserve, botanical garden, and accredited museum located at 1635 River Road (Pennsylvania Route 32), New Hope, Pennsylvania. It is open daily, except for major holidays, April–June, and closed on Tuesdays July–March; an admission fee is charged to nonmembers. A non-profit organization, Bowman's Hill Wildflower Preserve Association Inc., maintains the park in accordance to a management agreement with the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources and the Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission. Today, the preserve contains over 700 of the 2,000 plant species native to Pennsylvania and the Delaware Valley, growing in a naturalistic setting of woodlands, meadows, ponds and Pidcock Creek, with about 4.5 miles of walking trails. It is an excellent site for bird-watching.

Bowman's Hill Tower, (also known as Bowman's Tower), is a 125-foot-tall (38 m) stone tower located in Washington Crossing Historic Park in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. It is administered by the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources. The tower was built on Bowman's Hill, which is on the Upper Makefield Township side of the border between itself and Solebury Township. The tower was erected in the 1930s as a memorial.

Smith Family Farmstead, also known as Riverside, is a historic home located at Upper Makefield Township, Bucks County, Pennsylvania. It was built in 1767, and is a 2+1⁄2-story, three bay by two bay, gable roofed stone dwelling. A one bay by two bay, stone and frame addition was built in 1945. Also on the property is a contributing two-story stone building used as a garage. It was the birthplace of U.S. Senator from Indiana Oliver H. Smith (1794-1859).It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1978.

Brownsburg Village Historic District is a national historic district located at Brownsburg, Upper Makefield Township, Bucks County, Pennsylvania. The district includes 37 contributing buildings, 1 contributing site, and 2 contributing structures in the village of Brownsburg. Most of the buildings were built between 1810 and 1840, and reflective of the Italianate and Federal styles. The oldest building is the Beaumont Tavern House and tenement. Other notable buildings are the Grace Johnson House, Gilbert Tenement, Andrew Jamison House, and Slack Bungalow (c. 1920). Also in the district are structures related to the site of the Delaware Division of the Pennsylvania Canal.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1994.

The George Nakashima House, Studio and Workshop is a historic artist's compound at 1847 and 1858 Aquetong Rd. in Solebury Township, Bucks County, Pennsylvania. The compound consists of houses and studio buildings designed and built by artist George Nakashima (1905-1990), which served as family homes and as his studio space. The studio-related buildings are open to the public for tours; the houses of the compound continue to serve as residences of the Nakashima family. In April 2014 it was also designated a National Historic Landmark. The site was listed on the World Monument Fund's 2014 Endangered Sites Watchlist.

The Van Sant Covered Bridge (Van Sandt Covered Bridge), also known as the Beaver Dam Bridge, is a historic covered bridge located in Solebury Township, near New Hope in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. Built in 1875, the 86 foot, town truss span crosses the Pidcock Creek near Washington Crossing State Park.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places on December 1, 1980.

The London Purchase Farm, also known as the John Chapman House, is located on Eagle Road in Upper Makefield Township, Pennsylvania. The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on January 24, 1974. London Purchase Farm was one of the Headquarters for George Washington's army in December 1776. Both General Henry Knox and Captain Alexander Hamilton were stationed here, before the Crossing of the Delaware River and the Battle of Trenton.

Dark Hollow Run is a tributary of the Delaware River contained wholly within Solebury Township, Bucks County, Pennsylvania, meeting with the Delaware south of New Hope.

The New Hope Village District, also known as New Hope M.R.A. District No. 1, is a national historic district that is located in New Hope, Bucks County, Pennsylvania. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1985.

Aquetong Creek is a tributary of the Delaware River in Solebury Township and New Hope, Bucks County, Pennsylvania. Rising from the Aquetong Spring, now known as Ingham Spring, just south of the intersection of U.S. Route 202, Lower Mountain Road, and Ingham Road, it runs about 10.75 miles (17.30 km) to its confluence with the Delaware.

The Bucks County Playhouse is located in New Hope, Pennsylvania. When the Hope Mills burned in 1790, Benjamin Parry rebuilt the grist mills as the New Hope Mills. The town was renamed for the mills. The building was saved from demolition in the 1930s. It was purchased and run by a group of people including playwrights Moss Hart and Kenyon Nicholson. Renovations converting the building into a theater began in 1938. The first production at the new Bucks County Playhouse was Springtime for Henry featuring Edward Everett Horton. It opened on July 1, 1939. The Bucks County Playhouse became a summer theater. It was the starting point for many actors and became a place where plays slated for Broadway were tried out. Neil Simon's Barefoot in the Park, starring Robert Redford and Elizabeth Ashley, had its premiere at the theater in 1963. Other notable actors who performed at the theater over the years include Bela Lugosi, Dick Van Dyke, Tyne Daly, Grace Kelly, Angela Lansbury, and Walter Matthau.The Bucks County Playhouse Conservancy, a public/private partnership, raised sufficient funds to regain the property following a 2010 foreclosure. Following an extensive renovation, the theater reopened on July 2, 2012. It is a member company of the New Jersey Theatre Alliance.
