Spring Grove is a town in Wayne Township, Wayne County, in the U.S. state of Indiana. The population was 344 at the 2010 census.

The Reeveston Place Historic District is a neighborhood of homes and national historic district located at Richmond, Wayne County, Indiana. It was platted in 1911 on land formerly owned by the family of Mark Reeves and the district encompasses 218 contributing buildings, 1 contributing site, and 2 contributing objects. The architecture is an eclectic mix of styles including Craftsman and English cottages, and impressive homes in the Colonial Revival, Tudor Revival, Georgian, French, Spanish and Ranch styles. The original Reeves home in the Second Empire style survives as well.The proper borders of the Reeveston area are South B Street to the north, South 23rd Street to the east, South 16th Street to the west and South E Street to the south. However, the northeast corner of South E and South 16th is not a part of the original Reeves property - the house located there predates the Reeves home. The district was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2003.

The Richmond Railroad Station Historic District is a group of historic commercial buildings and national historic district located at Richmond, Wayne County, Indiana.

The Starr Historic District is a neighborhood of historic buildings and national historic district located at Richmond, Wayne County, Indiana. The district encompasses 102 contributing buildings in a predominantly residential section of Richmond. It developed between about 1853 and 1915 and includes representative examples of Greek Revival, Italianate, Second Empire, and Queen Anne style architecture. Included in the district is a former Hicksite Quaker Meeting House, now the Wayne County Historical Museum and the Reid Memorial Presbyterian Church and Andrew F. Scott House. Other notable buildings include the Miller-Mendenhall House (1875), Dickinson Log House (1825), Starr-Cadwalader House (1861), and Clem Gaar House (1883).Two houses in the District were the former residences of Orville and Wilbur Wright, during their childhood. A long-gone garage at the back of one of these houses was the location of their first bicycle repair 'shop'. This info was reprinted from a Richmond Palladium-Item article. Andrew F. Scott House is a historic home located at Richmond, Wayne County, Indiana. It was built in 1858, and is a two-story, cubic, Italianate style brick dwelling. It has a hipped roof topped by a cupola and kitchen wing. It features a projecting pedimented central entrance bay flanked by one-story verandahs with decorated posts. From 1977 to 2004, it was owned by the Wayne County Historical Museum and operated as a historic house museum.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1975. It is located in the Starr Historic District.

Reid Memorial Presbyterian Church is an architecturally significant building located at 11th and North "A" Streets in Richmond, Indiana. Designed by the Cleveland, Ohio architectural partnership of Sidney Badgley and William H. Nicklas the building was begun in 1904 and dedicated on May 13, 1906. The building committee had visited the Badgley and Nicklas-designed St. Paul's Methodist Episcopal Church (now St. Paul's Memorial United Methodist Church) which had been built by the Clement Studebaker family in South Bend, Indiana and the two churches have strikingly similar design elements in the sanctuaries. Reid Church was paid for by Daniel G. Reid in memory of his parents Daniel Reid and Anna Gray Reid. The church interiors and windows were designed by Louis Comfort Tiffany and the Tiffany Studios. The original organ designed by Hook and Hastings is still in use, though it was rebuilt in 1958 by the Wicks Organ Company. The organ was featured with a recital during the Organ Historical Society's 2007 convention in Indianapolis. During the 1920s the Ku Klux Klan was a powerful political and social force in Indiana. In 1922 the Klan was introduced to Richmond by Robert Lyons, who began by recruiting at Reid Church, where his father, Samuel Ross Lyons, had been pastor years earlier. Robert Lyons was eventually appointed national chief of staff for the Klan.Membership having dwindled to a few dozen people, the congregation was dissolved November 5, 2017, and the church closed. The building was listed on the "Ten Most Endangered List" of Indiana Landmarks.

The Indiana Football Hall of Fame is a sports museum and hall of fame in Richmond, Indiana. It honors persons associated with high school, college and professional American football in Indiana. It also works to establish scholarships and endowments to promote football in the state of Indiana. The hall was founded in 1973 as an affiliate of the Indiana Football Coaches Association.The museum was housed in a historic post office building at the corner of North 9th and A Streets. The physical museum permanently closed in 2021.

Murray Theater, also known as the Richmond Civic Theater-Norbert Silbiger Theater, is a historic theatre building located at Richmond, Wayne County, Indiana. It was built in 1909, and is a three-story, steel frame and brick building with Chicago School and Beaux-Arts style design influences. The auditorium was originally designed to seat 751.: 2–3 It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.

The Richmond Downtown Historic District is an area of primarily commercial buildings and national historic district located at Richmond, Wayne County, Indiana. The district encompasses 47 contributing buildings located along the National Road. It developed between about 1868 and 1960 and includes representative examples of Italianate, Romanesque Revival, Queen Anne, Classical Revival, and Chicago School style architecture. Located in the district is the separately listed Murray Theater. Other notable buildings include the I.O.O.F. Building (1868), Hittle Building (1878), Tivoli Theater (1926), Romey's Building (1920), George H. Knollenberg Building (1877), Kresge Building (c. 1930), Dickinson Building (1880), former U.S. Post Office (1905), and YMCA (1908).The district was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2011.

The Richmond, Indiana, explosion was a double explosion in the United States in 1968. It occurred at 1:47 PM EST on April 6, in downtown Richmond, Indiana. The explosions killed 41 people and injured more than 150. The primary explosion was due to natural gas leaking from one or more faulty transmission lines under the Marting Arms sporting goods store, located on the southeast corner of the intersection of 6th and Main (US 40) streets. A secondary explosion was caused by gunpowder stored inside the building.

Henry and Alice Gennett House, also known as The Gennett Mansion, is a historic home located at Richmond, Wayne County, Indiana. It was built in 1898, and is a large two-story, Colonial Revival style yellow ceramic brick dwelling, with small projecting porches or wings on each side. It sits on a limestone foundation and has a hipped roof. It features a two-story entrance portico with Ionic order columns surmounted by a semi-circular bay.: 2 It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983. It is located in the East Main Street-Glen Miller Park Historic District.
