Hyundai Global Business Center (Korean: 현대차 글로벌 비즈니스 센터) is a proposed building in Samseong-dong, Gangnam District, Seoul with a planned height of 569 metres (1,867 ft) and planned floor count of 105. If completed, it will be a supertall skyscraper.In January 2021, the project was reported to be cancelled or undergoing redesign.

The Seoul Olympic Stadium (Korean: 서울올림픽주경기장; Hanja: 서울올림픽主競技場), also known as Jamsil Olympic Stadium (formerly romanised as Chamshil), is a multi-purpose stadium in Seoul, South Korea. It is the main stadium built for the 1988 Summer Olympics and the 10th Asian Games in 1986. It is the centrepiece of the Seoul Sports Complex in the Songpa District, in the southeast of the city south of the Han River.

Jamsil Baseball Stadium (Korean: 잠실 야구장; Hanja: 蠶室野球場) is a baseball stadium located at 25 Olympic-ro, Songpa-gu, Seoul, South Korea. The stadium holds 25,000 people and was built from April 1980 to July 1982. It makes up the Seoul Sports Complex along with the nearby Seoul Olympic Stadium, and hosted the baseball events during the 1988 Summer Olympics. It is the home of the LG Twins and Doosan Bears of the KBO League. The area of Jamsil Baseball Stadium is 26,331 square metres (283,420 sq ft). It has one basement level. It is three stories high with a center-field distance of 125 metres (410 ft) and side distances of 100 metres (330 ft). The stadium has 59 entrances consisting of 49 inner gates and 10 outer gates. The parking lot allows 2,200 cars to park. The stadium can be reached by Seoul Subway Line 2, Line 9, or by bus. Jamsil Baseball Stadium was renovated in 2007 for about 1.5 billion won. Grass on the field was replaced, drains were installed, and sprinklers were upgraded to prevent heavy rain damage. In 2009, a viewing party was held at the stadium for the final game of the 2009 World Baseball Classic between South Korea and Japan. After the 2012 baseball season, Seoul Metropolitan Facilities Management Corporation changed the soil of the ground for easier maintenance and prevention of injuries. They changed all seats except for the third floor, built a new locker room for the away team, and remodeled restrooms for fans. Before the 2020 season, the outfield seats were also renovated. The chairs have been replaced with folding chairs, allowing spectators sitting in the outfield seats to watch the game more comfortably.

Seoul Sports Complex (Korean: 서울종합운동장), also known as Jamsil Sports Complex (Korean: 잠실종합운동장), is a group of sports facilities in Songpa-gu in Seoul, South Korea. It was built for the 1986 Asian Games and 1988 Summer Olympics from December 1976 to September 1984. The complex is South Korea's largest integrated sports center, spanning an area of 402,816 m². The complex consists of the Olympic Stadium, Auxiliary Stadium, Jamsil Arena, Jamsil Baseball Stadium, Jamsil Indoor Swimming Pool, Jamsil Inline Skating Rink and the Sports Park.

ASEM Tower is an office building located in Samseong-dong, Gangnam district, Seoul. It was constructed for the 3rd Asia–Europe Meeting (ASEM 3) in 2000.The 836-meter (914-yard) section of sidewalk along Yeongdong Boulevard from exit No. 5 of Samseong Station on Seoul Subway Line 2, outside the COEX Convention & Exhibition Center and ASEM Tower, is designated as a smoke-free zone by the Seoul Metropolitan Government.

The Trade Tower in Gangnam district, Seoul, is one of South Korea's tallest buildings. The 54-floor Trade Tower high-rise was built in 1988 and stands at 748 feet (228 m). It resembles two quadro-level towers in mirror image of each other. It is part of the COEX complex. Its 52nd floor hosts a restaurant.

Samseong Station is a station on Seoul Subway Line 2. It serves the eastern area of Teheranno. Some of the more famous buildings near the station include World Trade Center Seoul, COEX Mall, Korea Electric Power (KEPCO) headquarters, Korea Air City Terminal (buses run from here to Incheon and Gimpo Airports, and vice versa), and Gangnam main police and fire stations. Due to security concerns, the station was closed during the G20 summit and the 2012 Nuclear Security Summit, as this station is directly connected with COEX. The ridership of this station is very high, consistently ranking among the five most heavily used subway stations in Korea. The table below shows the average daily ridership between 2010 and 2012. Although the name of this station shares its pronunciation with the company Samsung, the Hanja for the company (三星) and the station (三成) are different, so there is no relation between the two. World Trade Center Seoul (WTC Seoul) (Korean: 한국종합무역센터; Hanja: 韓國綜合貿易센터) is a building complex centered on the COEX Convention & Exhibition Center (Coex) on Teheranno in Samseong-dong, Gangnam-gu district of Seoul. It is operated by KITA (Korea International Trade Association).
