The largest mosque in Turkey, Grand Çamlıca Mosque (Turkish pronunciation: [tʃamlɯdʒa]) (Turkish: Büyük Çamlıca Camii) is a complex of Islamic worship which was completed and opened in March 2019. The mosque is located on Çamlıca Hill of Üsküdar district in Istanbul, and showcases an art gallery, a library, and a conference hall. The cost of the mosque was US$110 million (approx. 550 million Turkish Liras at the time), which was an investment into the megaproject plan by the Turkish government. The architectural design planning of Çamlıca Mosque began in the year 2000 and was led by two female architects, Bahar Mızrak and Hayriye Gül Totu. The design of the mosque was inspired by Classical Ottoman architecture and the works of Mimar Sinan.

Çamlıca Hill (Turkish pronunciation: [tʃamlɯdʒa]) (Turkish: Çamlıca Tepesi), aka Big Çamlıca Hill (Turkish: Büyük Çamlıca Tepesi) to differentiate from the nearby Little Çamlıca Hill (Turkish: Küçük Çamlıca Tepesi), is a hill in Üsküdar district of Istanbul, Turkey. Situated on the Asian part of the city at 288 m (945 ft) above sea level, Çamlıca Hill has a panoramic view of the southern part of Bosphorus and the mouth of Golden Horn. The hill is a popular visitor attraction. There is historical-designed teahouses, cafes and a restaurant inside a public park with monumental trees, flower gardens and fountains, run by the Metropolitan Municipality.

The station consists of an island platform with two tracks. Since the M5 is an ATO line, protective gates on each side of the platform open only when a train is in the station. Kısıklı station was opened on 15 December 2017, together with eight other stations between Üsküdar and Yamanevler.

Burhaniye is a neighborhood in the Üsküdar municipality on the Asian side of Istanbul, Turkey. Burhaniye is mostly a residential neighborhood, with few historic houses and buildings. It is bordered on the north by Beylerbeyi and Küplüce, on the east by Kısıklı, on the south by Küçükçamlıca, and on the west by Altunizade and Kuzguncuk. The Otoyol 1 O-1 highway runs along the western border of the neighborhood. The neighborhood was settled by refugees from the 1876 April Uprising in Bulgaria and was first known as Muhacir Köyü (Refugee Village). The neighborhood takes its present name from the Burhaniye Mosque, built in 1902 by Sultan Abdul Hamid II for his son Burhanettin Efendi.In addition to the Burhaniye Mosque, mosques in the neighborhood include Oğuzhan Mosque, Akabe Mosque, and Polis Evleri Mosque. Schools in the neighborhood include Burhaniye Elementary School, Nursen Fuat Özdayı Elementary School, and the Beylerbeyi Campus of SEV Private Elementary School.Other important neighborhood institutions include the Çamlıca German Hospital.

Bulgurlu is one of the 33 neighborhoods in the Üsküdar district located on the Asian side of the Bosphorus in Istanbul, Turkey.Bulgurlu is one of the most populated neighborhoods of Üsküdar, and it is bordered by Küçükçamlıca Street to the west, Üçpınarlar Street to the south and the O-4 Anatolian Highway, to the east by Namık Kemal Neighborhood and to the north by Bulgurlu street. Küçük Çamlıca Hill, one of the most important recreation areas of Istanbul, is also in this neighborhood. The historical Bulgurlu Bath was established in the 17th century and still serves.

Çamlıca is a leafy district of Üsküdar on the Asian side of Istanbul. It is famous for two hills—Big Çamlıca (Büyük Çamlıca in Turkish, 268m) and Little Çamlıca (Küçük Çamlıca in Turkish, 229m)—offering panoramic views across the Sea of Marmara and the Princes' Islands to the European side of Istanbul and Sarayburnu. Historically, these were renowned beauty spots although by the end of the 20th century modern development had detracted from that beauty, not least when a series of radio and television towers were built on the hills.Among the artists to leave drawings of the panoramic view from Büyük Çamlıca in its 19th-century heyday was the Usküdar-born artist Hoca Ali Rıza. Çamlıca can be reached on the M5 Metro line from Üsküdar at Kısıklı and Bulgurlu stations.

Çengelköy is a neighborhood in the Üsküdar district on the Asian shore of the Bosphorus strait in Istanbul, Turkey, between the neighborhoods of Beylerbeyi and Kuleli. It is mainly a residential district. Many mansions were built there in the Ottoman period. From the 6th century, the port of Çengelköy was called Sophianai because of the palace Justin II built nearby for his consort Sophia.The name Çengelköy means "hook village" and indeed the village is nestled around a sharp turn of the Bosphorus shoreline, but the origin of the name is uncertain. One story put forward is that the village is named after the 19th-century Ottoman admiral Çengeloğlu Tahir Pasha, who had a waterside mansion built there (and there is a Çengeloğlu Street in Çengelköy). Another story derives the name from the Persian word çenkar, "crab," because of the abundance of seafood in the Bosphorus there. A 16th-century Ottoman document apparently refers to the place as "Çenger köyü."Çengelköy is world-famous for the small cucumbers once grown there (now grown in Kandıra). Opened in 2015, the Mehmet Çakır Cultural and Sports Center, consisting of six indoor swimming pools, is the biggest sports complex on the Anatolian part of Istanbul.The Vahdettin Pavilion, also known as the Çengelköy Pavilion, an official residence of the Presidency and a state guest house, is situated on a hill in Çengelköy.

The Mehmet Çakır Cultural and Sports Center (Turkish: Mehmet Çakır Kültür ve Spor Merkezi) is a cultural and sports complex located in Çengelköy neighborhood of Üsküdar district in Istanbul, Turkey. It is named after Mehmet Çakır, the former mayor of Üsküdar district.The center was built by the Municipality of Üsküdar as a water sports complex on an area of 22,500 m2 (5.6 acres) in Çengelköy near Bosphorus. Inaugurated officially on May 26, 2015, the center has three indoor swimming pool halls for males and three for females, including two semi-olympic swimming pools of size 15 m × 25 m (49 ft × 82 ft) with 200-spectator capacity each. It has further a multi-purpose hall and fitness center of 1,000 m2 (11,000 sq ft), two watsu pools for aquatic therapy, two shallow pools, gender-separated mini spa pools and a multi-purpose foyer of 250 m2 (2,700 sq ft) in addition to administrative offices, a meeting hall and changing rooms. The complex has a parking lot capable of 400 vehicles in total, including a covered obe for 300 vehicles. It is the biggest sports venue on the Anatolian part of Istanbul.The complex was closed for use due to leaking water from the pool beds down to the basement as reported in October 2015.
