University of Toronto Mississauga

The University of Toronto Mississauga Library, part of the University of Toronto Libraries system, is the campus library of the University of Toronto Mississauga. The library is located within the Hazel McCallion Academic Learning Centre, named to honor City of Mississauga mayor Hazel McCallion. The facility houses the library, the Robert Gillespie Academic Skills Centre, a Library Café, a digital environment, a classroom, an adaptive technology centre, a finance learning centre, and the campus’ academic skills centre.

Erindale Secondary School is a secondary School of the Peel District School Board serving the Erindale community of Western Mississauga, Ontario.

Erindale is an historical neighbourhood located within the central part of the city of Mississauga, west of Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Erindale is named in honour of the birthplace of the first rector of the village, Reverend James Magrath from Erin (Ireland).It runs along Dundas Street West. The centre of the old village is just to the east of the Credit River valley. A large campus of the University of Toronto, known as University of Toronto Mississauga, is located on the west bank of the river.

Erindale GO Station is a GO Transit railway station on the Milton line in the Greater Toronto Area, Ontario, Canada. It is located at 1320 Rathburn Road West, just east of the Credit River in the Creditview neighbourhood of Mississauga, west of the Square One area. Like many other GO stations, Erindale offers parking facilities, and has a station building which houses ticket sales and includes a waiting room. Erindale acted as a terminus for the midday trains that GO Transit once operated on the Milton Line during the early to mid-1990s, but these trains no longer run.Although ridership on the Milton line has grown beyond GO's expectations, it is not possible to run more trains, because the tracks are already busy with Canadian Pacific Railway freight traffic. In order to increase capacity, GO has extended the platforms to accommodate trains with twelve carriages rather than the previous ten. Erindale was most recently upgraded and is now fully wheel chair accessible. A construction project underwent a new multi-level covered parking structure with 1700 new spaces, new bus loop, dedicated pedestrian pathways, and covered pedestrian bridge to the station tracks. The project was completed in the spring of 2014.

Fox College of Business is a private business college in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada. Fox provides business programs including diploma, certificate, seminar, workshop and custom corporate training. The motto of the college is "Stop at Perfection".

The Woodlands School is a public elementary and secondary school in Mississauga, Ontario, under the Peel District School Board. It has a diverse student population, with large numbers of students of South and East Asian backgrounds. The school has an English as a Second Language (ESL) program to assist new immigrants, and a Peer Assisted Learning (PALS) program. The school is also a Regional Enhanced Learning Centre for the secondary program.

The South Common Centre Bus Terminal is located in western Mississauga, Ontario, Canada. It is situated on the western side of South Common Centre. The terminal does not contain a building, partly due to having direct connection to the mall and to the nearby buildings such as South Common Library. Instead, it is formatted as a transit mall, with benches and bus shelters on either side of the terminal. Tickets and passes for both transit systems are available inside the South Common Centre. MiWay tickets and passes are also sold at South Common Community Centre, which is also located beside the terminal. The terminal, along with Erin Mills Town Centre, could possibly be relocated to the Erin Mills BRT Station of the Mississauga Transitway, for more connectivity with other routes that are planned to serve the station.

The Sheridan Centre Bus Terminal is located in southwestern Mississauga, Ontario, Canada. It is situated on the eastern side of Sheridan Centre.The terminal does not have a terminal building since it is a minor terminal. It only contains bus shelters and passengers require a short walk to the mall's nearest entrance.

Erin Mills is a large suburban district in the city of Mississauga, Ontario, Canada, approximately 32 km (20 mi) west of Downtown Toronto. Starting in the 1970s, Erin Mills was developed as a "new town" by the Cadillac Fairview Corporation on over 7,000 acres (28 km2) of farmland around Erin Mills Town Centre. Cadillac Fairview inherited the development from E. P. Taylor's Don Mills Development Corporation, which acquired land in the 1950s and coined the area's name. Taylor sold the development to Cadillac Fairview in 1968. The name paid homage to the historic Erindale to the south as well as various mills along the Credit River to the east. The closest mill was found along Eglinton Avenue in what was once Barberton, now a ghost town that once was built around the Toronto Woollen (Mills) Factory owned by brothers Robert and William Barber. Erin Mills is an integrated residential, industrial and, commercial community, with commercial uses concentrated in the centre and industrial uses on the periphery. Based on census boundaries, the 2001 population was estimated at 105,000, making it the most populous but not the most densely-populated area in Mississauga, and one of the fastest-growing. As of the Canada 2016 Census, the population is 122,560.Erin Mills Parkway mostly follows the course of the former Fifth Line West.

Holy Name of Mary College School, located in Mississauga, is Ontario's only independent Catholic school for girls in Grades 5 to 12. From a 25-acre setting Holy Name of Mary College School offers a liberal arts education and follows a modified semester system as of the 2021–2022 school year. With the exception of certain Open courses, such as Music and Physical Education, all courses are offered exclusively at the Academic level and educate girls to university-entrance standards. Vocal music is a key focus at Holy Name of Mary College School; the school has three award-winning choirs. Holy Name of Mary College School is the sister school of St. Michael's College School, a private, Catholic all-boys school in Toronto.

St. Martin Secondary School is a separate Roman Catholic secondary school located in the Erindale neighbourhood of Mississauga, Ontario, Canada. It is under the jurisdiction of the Dufferin-Peel Catholic District School Board. The current principal of St. Martin Secondary School is Jason Pratt. The school has approximately 1088 students (2019). The school offers a Specialist High Skills Major (SHSM) in Sports, and Hospitality and Tourism.
