Eagle Raceway is a one-third mile dirt track located two miles (3 km) east of Eagle, Nebraska on U.S. Highway 34 in Cass County, Nebraska, often referred to by some as the "World's Fastest Third Mile" because of its speed. The track is located approximately fifteen miles east of Lincoln, Nebraska. As of 2006, the World of Outlaws Sprint Series races at the track once a year, in June. A regular weekly show at the track (Saturday nights from April to September) generally consists of IMCA-Sanctioned 305 Sprint Cars, Modifieds, Stock Cars, Hobby Stocks, and SportMods.

The Snoke Farmstead, in Cass County, Nebraska near Eagle, Nebraska, was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1998. The listing included eight contributing buildings, a contributing structure, and a contributing site on 4 acres (1.6 ha). Some part of the farmstead dates from 1875.It has also been known as Snoke-Tate Farmstead.It is located at 23416 O St., which is U.S. Route 34 (US 34) about 2 miles (3.2 km) east of Eagle.

The Herter Farmstead is an estate with a historic farm house and several outbuildings in Walton, Nebraska. The two-story house was built in 1876 for Abraham Herter, an immigrant from Switzerland. In 1892, his son, Jacob W. Herter, decided to redesign the house in the Queen Anne style, with a tower and classical columns. Edward, the third-generation property owned, inherited the house in 1960, followed by his daughter Norma in 1973, who lived here with her husband, Wayne Hagaman. The property has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since July 24, 2000.

It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places for its innovative and efficient architecture in 1995.A snowstorm on 4 February 2012 resulted in severe damage to the structure, and it is purportedly "beyond repair." It was delisted on December 31, 2013.
