St. John's Catholic Church (Korean: 성요한성당), also known as Bundang Church (Korean: 분당성당), is parish of the Roman Catholic Church located in the Bundang district of Seongnam, Gyeonggi Province, South Korea. The parish was established January 7, 1993 within the Diocese of Suwon. The church was dedicated to St. John the Apostle on October 3, 2003.

Bundang-dong (Korean: 분당동) is one of the 19 dongs of Bundang-gu, Seongnam, South Korea. The total area is 3.40 km², with a population of 31,186 (as of April 2007). It is a quiet residential area with trees and parks, located at the foot of Bulgok Mountain. Taehyeon Park is close to the residential area. Different from other areas in Bundang-gu, houses in Bundang-dong mainly consist of 3-story villas and studio apartments rather than high-rise apartments. This quiet place has several upscale cafes and restaurants which attract people looking for a quiet place rather than busy places like Seohyeon Station. Bundang-dong consists of two small towns, Saetbyul town and Jangan town. It is close to Bundang Central Park and Yuldong Park. Two elementary schools (Dangchon and Jangan elementary schools) and Daejin High School lie in Bundang-dong. The famous St. John's Cathedral is near Yuldong Park.

Saetbyoul Middle School (Korean: 샛별중학교) is a public middle school located in Bundang-gu, Seongnam-si, Gyeonggi Province in South Korea. It was established in 2008.

AK Plaza, Bundang, formerly Samsung Plaza (Korean: 삼성플라자), is a shopping mall located in Seohyeon-dong, Bundang, Seongnam, South Korea. The building is 98m or about 3 stories tall.Samsung Corporation opened Samsung Plaza Store No. 1, a multi-functional shopping center. It is also equipped with facilities such as the lobby, playrooms and cafes, plus facilities for the handicapped. Samsung Plaza consists of a department store, specialty stores and cultural, educational and entertainment facilities. Samsung Plaza grew substantially. In 1997, the total sales revenue was 270 billion won. By 2004, it had doubled to 540 billion won. In 2005, Bundang Samsung Plaza ranked 6th in amount of sales in South Korea.In February 2007, Samsung Corporation signed a contract with ARD Holdings, Inc. to sell Samsung Plaza Department Store.The building was renamed to AK Plaza on March 2, 2009.

Seohyeon Station is a subway station on the Suin–Bundang Line in Gyeonggi-do, South Korea. The line connects to Seoul. The area around this station is popular among young people, with many bars, restaurants, movie theaters, hagwon, offices, etc. AK Plaza (previously Samsung Plaza) and Bundang Jesaeng Hospital are also in this area.

Imae Station is an infill station on the Suin–Bundang Line of the Seoul Subway. There were originally no plans for this station when the Bundang Line opened in 1994. However, due to local resident demand and the significant distance between Yatap and Seohyeon Stations, construction began in March 2000 and the station was opened on January 16, 2004.The station became a transfer station for the Gyeonggang Line when operations commenced on September 24, 2016.

Imae-dong (Korean: 이매동; Hanja: 二梅洞) is a Bundang neighborhood in the city of Seongnam, Gyeonggi Province. It is officially divided into Imae-1-dong and Imae-2-dong. It shares its name with a station on the Bundang Line.

Bundang Jesaeng Hospital (Korean: 분당제생병원), also known as Daejin Medical Center, is a general hospital located in Seohyeon-dong, Bundang-gu, Seongnam, South Korea. It is one of the Daejin Medical Centers and was built on 15 January 1995 by Daejin Medical Foundation which is owned by Daesunjinrihoe.

Bundang Central Park (Korean: 분당중앙공원) is a public park in Bundang, Seongnam, South Korea. It is one of two large parks in Bundang, with the other being Yuldong Park in Bundang-dong. It is 500 meters away from Seohyeon station.

Bundang-gu (Korean: 분당구) is the largest and most populous district (gu) of Seongnam, a major city in the Seoul Capital Area, South Korea. Bundang-gu is one of South Korea's wealthiest and highest developed areas, being the nation's first and largest completely artificial city built in the early 1990s. Many high-rise luxury condos moved in the early 2000s, with a second planned city built in the late 2000s called Pangyo in the same district. Apartment prices are the second highest in Gyeonggi-do after Gwacheon and 7th highest nationwide, higher than many central Seoul districts such as Mapo-gu or Jongno-gu. Apartments around Pangyo station and the high-rise luxury condos around Jeongja station and Sunae station rival prices in the most expensive areas in the country. Unlike older cities such as Seoul, Bundang has no telephone poles overground, resulting in a clean cityscape with well-designed streets. Bundang is the headquarters of Korea's leading IT companies such as Naver and KT. Pangyo's Techno Valley is home to the country's leading game, entertainment and technology companies such as KakaoTalk, Samsung Techwin, AhnLab, Nexon, NCSOFT, Webzen and Hancom. Due to its close proximity to Seoul's affluent commercial center, Gangnam District, many residents also commute to Gangnam station via the Shinbundang Line, which takes only 15 minutes from Jeongja station. The Bundang Line subway connects many of the city's popular commercial areas to southeast Seoul, Yongin and Suwon. The city has a well-developed bus network reaching Seoul's central districts in 30~40 minutes due to being located at an intersection of Gyeongbu Expressway and Seoul Ring Expressway. Bundang is home to many Koreans who lived overseas and the European-styled cafe streets serving brunch and pastas in Pangyo Avenue France, Baekhyeon-dong and Jeongja-dong reflect their culture. The city has a high percentage of parks and greenspace, most notably Bundang Central Park and Yuldong Park, which is built around the Bundang lake. Also, there is a jogging course with the 'Tan-cheon stream'. The Bundang's Seoul National University Hospital is among the largest in South Korea.

Bulgoksan (Korean: 불곡산) is a mountain in Gyeonggi-do, South Korea. Its area extends over the cities of Seongnam and Gwangju. Bulgoksan has an elevation of 345 m (1,132 ft). The mountain shares a name with another mountain in the Gyeonggi-do near Yangju. Mt. Bulgok serves as a public recreation area at the southernmost part of the Seongnam green belt between Jeongja-dong and Gumi-dong. It also hosts hang gliding take-off runs in the Southwest and Northeast. Mt. Bulgok is designated trail with Mt. Youngjang by Seongnam. Its peak is near to Sunae, Jeongja, Gumi-dong. Mt. Bulgok is loved by the citizens of Budang.To the north, Bulgoksan Mountain passes Taehyeon and Saemaul Pass by Taehyeon and Saemaul Pass, and leads to Neungnae Pass and Galmachi Pass, and Namhansansan Island. To the south, it passed the Danggogae in Bucheon, followed by Seongnae-eup in Seongnam, Gwangju, and Sunjeong-gu in Yongin. The hiking begins in Sunae-dong, Jeongja-dong, and Gumi. Starting in Jeongja-dong, people go to Bukjeong High School and the water station to climb the ridge and then follow Namgeung-dong. There is also a course of origin that connects to the Munjeongsan Mountain in Opo-myeon. On the top of the mountain can be seen a new town in Bundang, Yongin, and Jukjeon, and the natural ecosystem is well preserved, and a dense forest is abundant, creating a new view of Chunghyak-dong.

The Seongnam Arts Center (성남아트센터) is the largest venue for cultural events in the city of Seongnam. It is in Yatap-dong in Bundang, within a few minutes' walk of Imae Station. And it is situated near the Taewon High school. So students of this school often visit Seongnam Arts Center. The Seongnam Arts Center was first opened on 14 October 2005 by the Seongam Cultural Foundation.
