The 1906 Atlantic City train wreck occurred in Atlantic City, New Jersey, on Sunday October 28, 1906, when a West Jersey and Seashore Railroad electric train fell off a draw (swing) bridge, drowning 53 people.

The 1896 Atlantic City rail crash occurred soon after 6:30 pm on July 30, 1896, at a crossing just west of Atlantic City, New Jersey, crushing five loaded passenger coaches, killing 50 people and seriously injuring approximately 60.

The Atlantic City Rail Terminal is Atlantic City, New Jersey's train station, located inside of the Atlantic City Convention Center. It has five tracks served by three platforms and functions as the easternmost terminus of the NJ Transit Atlantic City Line to and from Philadelphia. The station was also served by the Atlantic City Express Service (ACES) from 2009 until it was formally discontinued on March 9, 2012.The terminal was designed by TAT/SSVK, Architects and dedicated on May 22, 1989. Atlantic City was once served by the old Pennsylvania-Reading Seashore Lines Atlantic City station (née Atlantic City Union Station), which had become Atlantic City Municipal Bus Terminal and was demolished in 1997. Between 1965 and 1981 a single-story, two-track station on the present site served PRSL trains until service ended in 1981.

Atlantic City Rescue Mission (ACRM) is a rescue mission founded in 1964 by John Fink with the purpose of supporting residents in South Jersey in the United States. The rescue mission provides food banks, a soup kitchen and homeless shelter. ACRM assists over 3,300 homeless and people in need of assistance per year. It is the largest provider of comprehensive services in New Jersey, serve approximately 20% of people in the state.

Opened on May 1, 1997, the center includes 500,000 sq ft (46,000 m2) of showroom space, 5 exhibit halls, 45 meeting rooms with 109,000 sq ft (10,100 m2) of space, a garage with 1,400 parking spaces, and an adjacent Sheraton hotel.

Atlantic City Armory is an armory at 1008 Absecon Boulevard in Atlantic City, New Jersey.For the 1944 season the New York Yankees held spring training in Atlantic City. They made the 300-room Senator Hotel their headquarters, trained indoors at the armory and played at Bader Field.In 2009 it was announced that the armory would be renovated and transformed in a youth recreation center. The $2.9 million in funding for the project was provided by the New Jersey Department of Military and Veterans Affairs, the New Jersey Department of Law and Public Safety and the Community Redevelopment Agency. Renovations included the conversion of the drill floor to an indoor track and soccer field. Adjoining spaces were used for offices, classrooms, and locker rooms.

White House Sub Shop is a submarine sandwich deli founded in 1946 at Atlantic City, New Jersey, United States, which sells various specialty sandwiches. The deli is considered a historic landmark and has served multiple celebrities.

Ducktown is a historically Italian American district of Atlantic City, in the U.S. state of New Jersey, stretching from Missouri Avenue to Texas Avenue. The Press of Atlantic City called the neighborhood "Atlantic City's Little Italy".

Dante Hall Theater of the Arts is a theatre and cultural center in Atlantic City, New Jersey located in the Ducktown neighbourhood, which has traditionally been the city's Little Italy. It is now part of Stockton University.Dante Hall Theater was originally built in 1926 by St. Michael's Catholic Church, and primarily served the predominantly Italian-American community as a church hall, school gymnasium, and community theatre. St. Michael’s closed its parish school in the late 1980s, leaving the building dormant. An eighteen-month, $3.5 million renovation, funded solely by the Casino Reinvestment Development Authority, was completed in October 2003 and renamed Dante Hall Theater of the Arts. In 2011, Stockton University took control of the theatre, which remains the property of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Camden.

Atlantic City Union Station was an intercity passenger rail station located at 2121-2125 Arctic Avenue in Atlantic City, New Jersey. It was opened in 1934 by the Pennsylvania-Reading Seashore Lines (PRSL) and consolidated the operations of the two previously competing rail lines. In 1964, construction of the Atlantic City Expressway severed the rail connection to the station. It was then renovated and became the Atlantic City Municipal Bus Terminal while rail service was relocated north to a more modest building on Bacharach Boulevard. It served as a bus terminal until 1997 when it was demolished. The former station site is now occupied by a retail outlet mall.

Dock's Oyster House is a restaurant and bar located in Atlantic City, New Jersey. It opened in 1897 by Harry "call me Dock" Dougherty, who believed that the city needed a clean place to serve fresh seafood. They had no liquor license and only 60 seats. One hundred and twenty years later, they have expanded the seating and has a liquor license. It is family-owned.In 2016, they needed to expand to for their growing number of customers.Dock's is on the Anthony Bourdain Food Trail.

Tanger Outlets The Walk is a 109-store open-air outlet mall in Atlantic City, New Jersey. It is the only outlet mall in Atlantic County. The mall opened in August 2003 and spans 3 city blocks, featuring a unique layout in outlet mall construction.
