Robert Fulton School is a historic school building located in the Morton neighborhood of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The building was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1986.

Germantown High School graduated its final class on June 19, 2013 and closed its doors that week.GHS, located in Germantown, was a part of the School District of Philadelphia. The school was built in 1914. Its students were mostly African-American, despite the previous German population of the region. Students came from the Logan, Germantown, Mt. Airy, Chestnut Hill, and Nicetown-Tioga sections of the city.The team name was the Bears.1993-94 and 95 Men's Varsity basketball was ranked top in the city of Philadelphia.

The Vernon-Wister House is a historic house in Germantown, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. It was built in 1803 by James Matthews, from whom John Wister purchased it in 1812. His son, John Wister, was a member of Congress and lived in Vernon until his death in 1883. The Vernon-Wister House is a contributing property of the Colonial Germantown Historic District, which is listed in the National Register of Historic Places.

The Ivy Lodge is an historic American home which is located in the Wister neighborhood of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1972.

Germantown Friends School (GFS) is a coeducational independent PreK–12 school in the Germantown neighborhood of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, in the United States under the supervision of Germantown Monthly Meeting of the Religious Society of Friends (Quakers). It is governed by a School Committee whose members are drawn from the membership of the Meeting, the school's alumni and parents of current students and alumni. The head of school is Dana Weeks.

Germantown Lutheran Academy (GLA) was founded in 1965 and began operating a high school at the historic school campus previously occupied by Germantown Academy at Schoolhouse Lane and Green Street in the Germantown section of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Mr. John Dutton, the founding headmaster of Germantown Lutheran Academy, along with three teachers opened the school doors to thirty-four students in the fall of 1965. Each year the faculty would extend invitations to students to attend the next school year based on academic merit and contributions to campus life. A number of the school's faculty were commissioned teachers from the Lutheran Church–Missouri Synod.Germantown Lutheran Academy merged with the Stevens School of Chestnut Hill to form Germantown Stevens Academy in 1973. Germantown Stevens Academy grew to over 200 students offering classes from kindergarten through grade 12 with over 30 faculty and staff serving the school. Class sizes were limited to 25 students to provide personalized learning and development. The Rev. Robert Brusic, a pastor of the Lutheran Church in America, became the president of Germantown Stevens Academy. Several Lutheran elementary schools throughout the Philadelphia area sent their students to GLA / GSA. The non-sectarian school offered classes in religion and held bi-weekly chapel to support students in their academic development and spiritual life. An extensive interscholastic athletic program supplemented the regular physical education program of the school. An outstanding choral and art program enhanced the school's academic experience.

Greene Street Friends School is a coeducational school under the care of Green Street Monthly Meeting of the Religious Society of Friends. Located in Germantown, Philadelphia, Greene Street serves 320 students in grades Pre-K to 8.

The Old Germantown Academy and Headmasters' Houses or The Old Campus is an historic, American school campus, the original site of Germantown Academy, located at Schoolhouse Lane and Greene Street in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The academy moved to a new suburban location in 1965, and the site is currently occupied by the Pennsylvania School for the Deaf. The site was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1972.

The Basilica Shrine of Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal, also known as The Miraculous Medal Shrine, is at 500 E. Chelten Ave. in the East Germantown neighborhood of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The church now known as the Basilica Shrine was founded by the Congregation of the Mission in 1879 as the Chapel of the Immaculate Conception on the grounds of St. Vincent's Seminary. In 1927, Fr. Joseph Skelly, CM, commissioned the creation of Mary's Central Shrine within the chapel to promote devotion to Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal, a title of the Virgin Mary originating with her apparitions to Saint Catherine Labouré in Paris in 1830.On January 25, 2023, it was announced that the Vatican's Congregation for Divine Worship and the Discipline of the Sacraments issued a decree granting The Miraculous Medal Shrine (jointly the Chapel of the Immaculate Conception and Mary's Central Shrine within it), the title Minor basilica. This made the Basilica Shrine the second basilica in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia along with the Cathedral Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul. To date, it is the most recent Catholic church to receive the title of Basilica.

Clarkson-Watson House, also known as the Bank of Germantown and Germantown Historical Society, is a historic home located in the Wister neighborhood of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. It was built between 1740 and 1750, and modified in the 1770s. It is a 2+1⁄2-story, stuccoed stone dwelling with a rear brick addition. It has a gable roof with dormers.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1973.

The Grumblethorpe Tenant House, also known as the Tenant House of Wister's Big House, is an historic home which is located in the Wister neighborhood of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1972, it is a contributing property of the Colonial Germantown Historic District, which has been designated as a National Historic Landmark.
