Engel Stadium is a stadium in Chattanooga, Tennessee. The stadium was built in 1930 and holds 12,000 people. It was the home of the Chattanooga Lookouts until 1999 when they moved to their current stadium, AT&T Field. The former Tennessee Temple University held its home games at Engel after the Lookouts left. Engel Stadium was named for longtime President of the Chattanooga Lookouts, Joe Engel. The ballpark is located at 1130 E. 3rd Street, at the corner of O'Neal Street, adjacent to the historic Fort Wood neighborhood, Norfolk Southern's DeButts Yard, and Erlanger Hospital. The park is bounded by East 3rd Street, O'Neal Street, East 5th Street, and railroad tracks.

The Erlanger Health System (often referred to as Erlanger Hospital or simply Erlanger), incorporated as the Chattanooga-Hamilton County Hospital Authority, a non-profit, public benefit corporation registered in the State of Tennessee, is an academic system of hospitals, physicians, and medical services based in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Erlanger is a tertiary referral hospital and Level I Trauma Center serving a 50,000 sq mi (130,000 km2) (125 mi (201 km) radius) region of East Tennessee, North Georgia, North Alabama, and western North Carolina. The system's critical care services are accessible to patients within a 150 mi (240 km) radius through six Life Force air ambulance helicopters, each equipped to perform in-flight surgical procedures and transfusions. Founded in 1889, Erlanger is a large public healthcare system with more than half a million patient visits a year.

Fort Wood Historic District is a historic neighborhood in Chattanooga, Tennessee. It is bounded roughly by Palmetto Street, McCallie Avenue, East 4th Street, and O'Neal Street, just east of the campus of the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.

Zion College was a Bible institute in Chattanooga, Tennessee. It was founded in 1949 by the Highland Park Baptist Church to train African American ministers and church workers. In 1964, Zion College was renamed Chattanooga City College. In 1969, the college merged with the University of Chattanooga to form the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga (UTC) as part of the UT System.

Chattanooga National Cemetery is a United States National Cemetery located near the center of the city of Chattanooga in Hamilton County, Tennessee. Administered by the United States Department of Veterans Affairs, it encompasses 120.9 acres (48.9 ha), and as of 2014, had more than 50,000 interments.

WLMR (1450 AM) is a radio station broadcasting a religious format. Licensed to Chattanooga, Tennessee, United States, the station serves the Chattanooga area. The station is currently owned by Wilkins Communications Network, Inc. and features programming from USA Radio Network. In the early 1980s, the station was automated and played country music from studios in a strip mall on Brainerd Rd. It was also Chattanooga's first talk radio station when it held the WZRA call sign. WZRA was the first home of Jeff Styles, and also featured well known personalities such as Kelly McCoy and Robert T. Nash.

Highland Park is a neighborhood in the city of Chattanooga, Tennessee. It originally was a small city developed between the late 19th century and the mid-20th century. It is located two miles east of downtown Chattanooga, and bounded by Willow and Holtzclaw streets on the east and west, and McCallie and Main streets on the north and south. It was incorporated in 1905. Later, when it was incorporated into the City of Chattanooga in 1929, it grew to become a popular middle-class suburb with access to multiple train lines. As employment and much downtown property value in Chattanooga declined throughout the 1970s, Highland Park did as well, but it has had significant recent success due to its proximity to the downtown, its vibrant neighborhood association, and many newly renovated historic houses.

Trinity Methodist Episcopal Church (also known as Tucker Baptist Church) was a historic church on McCallie Avenue in Chattanooga, Tennessee. It was built in 1899. At one time it housed Tucker Missionary Baptist Church. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1980. The building suffered a catastrophic collapse on the morning of May 10, 2011. The building had most recently belonged to The Living Word Ministries, but had been disused for some time. No one was injured in the collapse.

Tennessee Temple Academy was a K-12 school in Chattanooga, Tennessee, that is operated in association with Tennessee Temple University. In March 2011, the university announced that the school would close at the end of the 2010-2011 school year.

Tennessee Temple University was a private Christian university in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Operating there, also, was Temple Baptist Seminary, the university's graduate school of Christian theology. The university merged with Piedmont International University in 2015.

Children's Hospital at Erlanger is a 118-bed, tertiary care children's hospital located in Chattanooga, Tennessee. The hospital serves as the pediatric center of excellence for Erlanger Health System, the tenth largest public health system in the United States. Children's Hospital at Erlanger treats infants, children, teens, and young adults aged 0-21. It is located adjacent to Erlanger Baroness Hospital, just east of downtown Chattanooga.
