Huntingdon station is a SEPTA elevated rapid transit station in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, serving the Market–Frankford Line. It is located at the intersection of Kensington Avenue, Huntingdon Street, and B Street in the Kensington neighborhood of the city. It is the westernmost station on the line located above Kensington Avenue and is also served by SEPTA bus routes 3, 39, and 54.

The Albion Carpet Mill, also known as the Bromley Mills, is a former mill in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States, for producing ingrain and damask carpet. Various members of the Bromley family were associated with Philadelphia's carpet industry. By 1882, James A. and George D. Bromley were producing the more common ingrain and damask carpets at their Albion Carpet Mill on the northwest corner of East Hagert and Jasper Streets. The firm had 350 employees at 140 looms. A six-story brick building with a decorated and corbelled brick cornice and arched window openings still stands. Adjoining the east side of the mill on the corner sits a one-story warehouse.

Beatty's Mills Factory Building, also known as Powell Mills, is a historic textile mill in the Kensington neighborhood of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. It was built in 1886, and is a five-story, red brick building in the Italianate style. It was part of a complex of five buildings and is the only remaining structure. It is attached to a two-story school building built in 2002. The building housed textile-related manufacturing operations until 2000. It houses the Coral Street Arts House.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2004.

Kensington High School is an historic American high school that is located in the Kensington neighborhood of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. It is part of the School District of Philadelphia. The building was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1988 as the Kensington High School for Girls.

Philadelphia Temple of Hemp and Cannabis (also called Philly THC) is a church in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The church interior features Rastafarian images, including a mural of Haile Selassie.It may be the first space for public consumption of cannabis in America east of the Missisippi River, following "a handful" in Denver and San Francisco around 2019. It may circumvent the state's laws against public smoking by offering "ceramic-tipped electronic devices" for consumption via dry herb vaporizer on premises.The venue has held other public events such as a public reading of Cannabis: The Illegalization of Weed in America by its author, Box Brown.

York–Dauphin station is an elevated rapid transit station on the Market–Frankford Line, of the SEPTA transit system. It is located in the Kensington neighborhood of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The station is located at the intersection of Dauphin, Jasper, and Front Streets. it is the easternmost station running above Front Street; east of the station the line turns onto Kensington Avenue heading towards Frankford.York–Dauphin is also a transfer point for SEPTA buses, serving routes 3, 39, and 89.

The Church of the Good Shepherd, Kensington, was an Episcopal congregation in Kensington neighborhood of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Founded in 1868, it merged with Emmanuel Church, Kensington, in 1994 to form the Church of Emmanuel and the Good Shepherd. Its 1887 building, designed by architect T. Frank Miller and located at 2121-2127 East Cumberland Street, was demolished in 2016. The Church of the Good Shepherd, Kensington, was an among the few surviving reminders of the mid to late 19th century English immigrant experience and community in Kensington and Philadelphia. Movement has been made to celebrate the colonial experience (i.e. Penn Treaty Park) and preserve the 19th century "new immigrant" experience (i.e. St. Laurentius Church, in Fishtown) in the greater Kensington area. Scholars often refer to this immigrant group as hidden and forgotten. These immigrants, to outsiders, blended in and disappeared. However, as the property demonstrates, mid to late 19th century English immigrants, far from being hidden, built unique neighborhoods, cultural institutions, and worship sites.

David Farragut School is a historic school building located in the West Kensington neighborhood of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. It was built in 1873 and is a three-story, four bay, stone building in the Italianate-style. An addition was built in 1915. It features brownstone and limestone trim. It was named for Admiral David Farragut (1801–1870). It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1986.

Thomas Powers School is a historic school building located in the Port Richmond neighborhood of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. It was built in 1899–1900, and is a three-story, square, granite building with basement in the Romanesque style. It sits on a stone foundation and features a projecting round arched tower, stepped Flemish gable, and hipped roof with large projecting chimneys.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1986.

The 26th District Police and Patrol Station is a historic police station in the Kensington neighborhood of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. It was designed by architect John T. Windrim (1866-1934) and built in 1896. It and is a three-story, "L"-plan, brownstone and brick building in the Renaissance style. It features a monumental arched entrance with terra cotta decorative elements, curved corner, copper entablature, wide frieze, and pitched roof. It housed a police station until 1969.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1984.It currently (Sep 2017) houses a branch of The Philadelphia Federal Credit Union.

Prevention Point Philadelphia (PPP) was the first syringe exchange program in Philadelphia and Eastern Pennsylvania. Prevention Point Pittsburgh is the only other syringe exchange program in the state. The two organizations are not affiliated.Prevention Point Philadelphia provides harm reduction counseling, syringe exchange, free medical care, support and education groups, and referrals to social services and drug treatment. The organization distributes syringes six days a week. Locations include the main office in Kensington, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and five sites served by a mobile unit.
