Indianapolis Veterans Administration Hospital, also known as Larue D. Carter Memorial Hospital is a historic hospital complex and national historic district located at Indianapolis, Indiana. The district resources were developed between 1930 and 1951 by the Veterans Administration, and encompasses 15 contributing buildings, 2 contributing sites, 2 contributing structures and 5 contributing objects on the hospital campus. The main complex is connected by an enclosed corridor and consists of the main hospital building (1931), kitchen/mess hall/boiler house/attendants' quarters, general medical building (1939), and recreation building (1941). The buildings reflect the Colonial Revival and Classical Revival styles of architecture.: 3 The name of doctor Larue D. Carter had previously been attached to the state's first intensive-treatment psychiatric hospital, a facility within a large assembly of buildings (which then also included both the Indiana University Indianapolis campus and the V.A. Hospital), in recognition of his leadership role in the state's Mental Health Association, at a time when the Civil War-era Central State Hospital psychiatric facility, in the same city, was being pilloried as an obsolete relic reflecting inhumane approaches to mental illness. This V.A. facility was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2012.

The Marian University College of Osteopathic Medicine is the medical school of Marian University in Indianapolis, Indiana. It was the first osteopathic medical school to open at a Roman Catholic university.Founded in 2010, the college is accredited by the American Osteopathic Association's Commission on Osteopathic College Accreditation (COCA). Medical graduates of the college receive a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.).

The Alan and Sue Leighton School of Nursing is part of Marian University, a private, non-profit school located in Indianapolis, Indiana. Established in 1977 as the Marian College School of Nursing, the school has been housed in the Michael A. Evans Center for Health Sciences on the university's main campus since 2013. It shares the building with the Marian University College of Osteopathic Medicine.Part of Marian University, the Leighton School of Nursing frames its curriculum within the context of the Catholic Franciscan values of the university's founders, the Sisters of St. Francis, Oldenburg, Indiana. As such, the curricula for all its programs are designed to teach nursing students how to take a holistic approach to patient care.

Henry F. Campbell Mansion, also known as Esates Apartments, is a historic home located at Indianapolis, Marion County, Indiana. It was built between 1916 and 1922, and is a large 2+1⁄2-story, Italian Renaissance style cream colored brick and terra cotta mansion. It has a green terra cotta tile hipped roof. The house features a semi-circular entry portico supported by 10 Tuscan order marble columns. Also on the property are the contributing gardener's house, six-car garage, barn, and a garden shed.: 5 It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1997.

Wheeler–Stokely Mansion, also known as Hawkeye, Magnolia Farm, and Stokely Music Hall, is a historic home located at Indianapolis, Marion County, Indiana. It was built in 1912, and is a large 2+1⁄2-story, asymmetrically massed, Arts and Crafts style buff brick mansion. The house is ornamented with bands of ceramic tile and has a tile roof. It features a 1+1⁄2-story arcaded porch, porte cochere, and porch with second story sunroom / sleeping porch. Also on the property are the contributing gate house, 320-foot-long colonnade, gazebo, teahouse, gardener's house, dog walk, and landscaped property.: 5–7 It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2004.

Bishop Simon Bruté College Seminary is a Roman Catholic college seminary located in Indianapolis, Indiana, within the Archdiocese of Indianapolis. The seminary takes its name from Bishop Simon Bruté, first bishop of the Diocese of Vinncennes, who came to Vincennes, Indiana from Mount St. Mary's Seminary in Emmitsburg, Maryland, in 1834. Bishop Simon Bruté Seminary has provided college-level seminary formation since 2004. Seminarians from 8 dioceses across the Midwestern United States reside at the seminary and take classes at Marian University.The founder and rector of the seminary from 2004-2016 was the Very Reverend Robert J. Robeson, PhD, a priest of the Archdiocese of Indianapolis. Reverend Joseph B. Moriarty was named Vice Rector in 2013 and Rector in 2016. In addition to his duties at the Seminary, Fr. Moriarty also assists with Spiritual Direction at St. Meinrad Semiary & School of Theology, as well as weekend ministry at Sts. Francis & Clare on the south side of Indianapolis. He also serves as chaplain to Marian University. The Reverend Thomas C. Widner, S.J., was appointed as first resident spiritual director in 2010. Fr. Widner died on August 13, 2018. Reverend Jonathon Fassero, O.S.B. is also a spiritual director who resides at St. Meinrad Archabbey in St. Meinrad, Indiana. The seminary's motto, In hoc signo vinces was chosen because it was the episcopal motto of Bishop Simon Bruté. The Latin translates to: "In this sign, you will conquer."

Marian University is a private Roman Catholic university in Indianapolis, Indiana. Founded in 1851 by the Sisters of St. Francis in Oldenburg, Indiana, the college moved to Indianapolis in 1937. Marian was referred to as Marian College from 1936 until 2009, when it was renamed Marian University.In 2013, the university opened the first medical school in over 100 years in Indiana, which was the first osteopathic medical school in the state and the second operational medical school in Indiana at the time. As of 2017, enrollment included 2,431 undergraduate students, 1,164 graduate students, and 650 doctoral students.Marian University athletes have won 45 USA Cycling National Championships and 8 NAIA National Championships: Football in 2012 and 2015; Women's Basketball in 2016 and 2017; Men's Track and Field 60-meter hurdles in 2016 and 2017, and 110-meter hurdles and 800 meter in 2017. Heslar Naval Armory (formerly Indianapolis Naval Reserve Armory) was constructed in 1936 in Indianapolis, Indiana, United States, on the shore of White River as a Works Progress Administration construction project. It was designed by architect Ben H. Bacon and reflects an Art Moderne style. Heslar Naval Armory was the home of Naval Operations Support Center Indianapolis, Marine Corps Reserve Center Indianapolis, and Naval Recruiting Station Indianapolis, as well as the United States Naval Sea Cadet Corps Cruiser Indianapolis (CA-35) Division and the Central Indiana Young Marines of the Marine Corps League. In October 2008 the Indiana Wing Civil Air Patrol, state branch of the US Air Force Auxiliary, moved its headquarters functions and staff to the Armory. The building and property are legally owned by the State of Indiana and managed by the Indiana State Armory Board (an entity of the Indiana National Guard), but were leased to the federal government for use by the United States Navy Reserve and the United States Marine Corps Reserve until early 2015. The facility was converted to educational use with the opening of Riverside High School. Renovating the armory for use as a school cost $10 million, and was completed in June 2018.

Riverside Amusement Park was an amusement park in Indianapolis, Indiana, US from 1903 to 1970. Originating as a joint venture between engineer/amusement park developer Frederick Ingersoll and Indianapolis businessmen J. Clyde Power, Albert Lieber, Bert Fiebleman, and Emmett Johnson, the park was built by Ingersoll's Pittsburgh Construction Company adjacent to Riverside City Park at West 30th Street between White River and the Central Canal in the Riverside subdivision of Indianapolis.

It features a drive through front portico and rounded and segmental arched openings. The house has a shingled gable roof with rounded corners reminiscent of a Medieval English Country Manor.: 2 It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1976.
