The American Musical and Dramatic Academy (AMDA) is a private conservatory for the performing arts located in New York City and Los Angeles, California. The conservatory offers both bachelor of fine arts degrees and two-year certificates in professional performance. Programs are offered in acting, musical theatre, dance, and performing arts. It is accredited by the National Association of Schools of Theatre.

Manhattan Neighborhood Network (MNN) is an American non-profit organization that broadcasts programming on five public-access television cable TV stations in Manhattan, New York City. The country’s largest community media center, MNN operates two community media centers – in midtown Manhattan and East Harlem – and provides education, equipment, facilities, and programs to community producers and organizations who want to create programming to air on one of MNN's five channels. In 2016, MNN will post more than 5,000 enrollments in their media classes, making one of the largest media education institutions in New York City. In 2012, MNN opened the MNN El Barrio Firehouse Community Media Center in East Harlem. The El Barrio Firehouse (the former quarters of Engine Company 53) is an intergenerational community media center offering educational programs, community activities, and television production trainings in both English and Spanish. The Firehouse is also home to MNN's Youth Media Center, founded in 2000, which offers education, internships and other opportunities to low-income youth age 15-25 and curates a five-hour block of programming each week.

The Anya and Andrew Shiva Art Gallery is the primary fine art gallery at John Jay College of Criminal Justice, a senior college of the City University of New York in Hell's Kitchen, Manhattan, New York City. The exhibitions feature a variety of media, but are heavily focused on social issues and the humanities. The exhibits in 2012 showed works on social justice, and 2013 exhibits showed works on women in social justice. Opened in 2013, the gallery is 4,050 square feet and is on the ground floor of John Jay's 620,000-square foot building that sits on 11th Avenue and 59th Street (524 West 59th Street) in New York City, a four block walk from Central Park. The building was designed by Owings and Merrill. The building and Gallery were made possible by the biggest donation the school had ever received, and the main donors, when asked why they wanted an art gallery, simply responded 'an art gallery provides our students with exposure to art, creativity, imagination, and inspiration.'

Power Memorial Academy (PMA) was an all-boys Catholic high school in New York City that operated from 1931 through 1984. It was a basketball powerhouse, producing several NBA players including Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Len Elmore, Mario Elie, Chris Mullin, as well as NBA referee Dick Bavetta and a record 71-game winning streak. Its 1964 basketball team was named "The #1 High School Team of The Century".

The Bronx Community College Library is located on the campus of Bronx Community College and is a part of the City University of New York system. The library is at the North Hall, and this was opened on 2012. There are three floors in this building, with the ground floor having 15 classrooms. The library uses the second and third floors of the building. On the second floor, computers are available in the information common area. There are 25 group study rooms. and one classroom for library instruction. Appropriate assistance can be found facilitated by library employees within three desk areas: Reference, Circulation and New Media. On the third floor, there is the law collection classroom and the main stacks of circulation books. The North Hall has a distinction of being a green building, with LEED Silver certification.

The John Jay College of Criminal Justice (John Jay) is a public college focused on criminal justice and located in New York City. It is a senior college of the City University of New York (CUNY). John Jay was founded as the only liberal arts college with a criminal justice and forensic focus in the United States.

The Lloyd George Sealy Library is the campus library at John Jay College of Criminal Justice, City University of New York (CUNY). Located in Haaren Hall, the library specializes in criminal justice-related materials.

The Abraham Joshua Heschel School (AJHS) is a pluralistic nursery to 12th grade Jewish day school in New York City named in memory of Abraham Joshua Heschel, a major Jewish leader, teacher, and activist of the 20th century. The school is dedicated to the values that characterized Rabbi Heschel's life: intellectual exploration, integrity, love of the Jewish people and tradition, and a commitment to social justice. The Heschel School is a pluralistic, egalitarian community that includes families from a wide range of Jewish backgrounds, practices and beliefs.The Heschel School has a more liberal ideology than many other Jewish day schools. Heschel believed in Judaism as a tradition for connection to a singular ineffable being without criticizing people who believed in other things. The school emphasizes diversity amongst its students and their differing religious traditions as well as amongst the ideas brought up by its students. The leadership values those who think differently and encourages debate. Other "Heschel Schools" are located in Los Angeles, California and Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Despite having similar names, the three schools are otherwise unrelated.

Haaren High School was an American high school located in Midtown Manhattan, New York. The school was noted for its vocational program including classes focusing on internal combustion engines. The facility was constructed in 1903 to house DeWitt Clinton High School. When that school relocated in 1927, it became home to Haaren High School (named for educator John Henry Haaren) until that school closed in the late 1970s. After developers announced plans to renovate the building to house offices, production studios and retail, John Jay College purchased the structure in 1988 and remodeled it to house offices, a library, classrooms and other facilities.

Professional Children's School (PCS) is a not-for-profit, college preparatory school geared toward working and aspiring child actors and dancers in grades six through twelve. The school was founded in New York City in 1914 to provide an academic education to young people working on the New York stage, in Vaudeville, or "on the road".PCS was co-founded by Jean Greer and Jane Harris Hall when they learned that children who were working in entertainment were not able to attend traditional school. The school's original premises were at The Rehearsal Club on West 45th Street in Midtown before it moved to 1860 Broadway, near West 61st Street on the Upper West Side. Its curriculum and hours have changed over time.

The LaGuardia New Music Ensemble is an ever-changing composition collective at New York's LaGuardia School for Music and Art. It is notable for being the incubator of multiple industry professionals and one of the foremost popular music composition seminars in the country. The ensemble is best known for its collaborations with the NPR program Radiolab.The ensemble was founded in 1997 as the "New Music Singers" by pianist and teacher Bobby Apostle. The seminar itself is loosely structured, offering students the opportunity to collaborate individually and present their compositions with open critique. While originally focused on jazz improvisation, the course has strongly shifted over time to reflect current musical trends. The ensemble currently admits twenty-five composers, musicians, and producers each year, releases two commercial recordings and typically performs three to four shows.

Fordham University School of Law is the law school of Fordham University. The school is located in Manhattan in New York City, and is one of eight ABA-approved law schools in that city. In 2013, 91% of the law school's first-time test takers passed the bar exam, placing the law schools' graduates as fifth-best at passing the New York bar exam among New York's 15 law schools.According to Fordham University School of Law's 2014 ABA-required disclosures, 67.8% of the Class of 2014 obtained full-time, long-term, JD-required employment nine months after graduation. In 2021, Fordham was ranked as the 35th best law school in the United States and 3rd for part-time law by U.S. News and World Report, and 24th globally in the Shanghai Ranking. In 2021, it ranked 23rd among law schools for scholarly impact.
