Chesham Grammar School

The town of Chesham formed a local government district in the administrative county of Buckinghamshire, England from 1884 to 1974. It was administered as a local government district from 1884 to 1894, and as an urban district from 1894 to 1974.

It is the terminus station of the Chesham branch of the Metropolitan line, which runs from Chalfont & Latimer. The station, a Grade II listed building, is in London fare Zone 9 (previously zone D). Chesham station is 25 miles (40 km) northwest of Charing Cross, making it the furthest London Underground station from central London. It is both the northernmost and westernmost station in the system. The distance between Chesham and Chalfont & Latimer is the longest between adjacent stations on the network, at 3.89 miles (6.26 km).

Waterside is a hamlet in the parish of Chesham, in Buckinghamshire, England. It is located in the town itself. Historically the name referred to the group of dwellings next to the River Chess in Chesham. Waterside consists of a mixture of 19th-century houses following the banks of the river Chess. The Metropolitan line link between Baker Street and Chesham runs through this area. Waterside has a fitness centre and a public park known as the Moor. It also comprises several industrial units including a Nestlé bottled water factory situated on the former water cress and trout farm site on Latimer Road. There is a local community school, Waterside County Combined, which takes children from the age of 3 through to year 6.

Chesham (, locally , or ) is a market town and civil parish in Buckinghamshire, England, United Kingdom, 11 miles (18 km) south-east of the county town of Aylesbury, 25.8 miles (41.5 km) north-west of central London, and part of the London commuter belt. It is in the Chess Valley, surrounded by farmland. The earliest records of Chesham as a settlement are from the second half of the 10th century, although there is archaeological evidence of people in this area from around 8000 BC. Henry III granted a royal charter for a weekly market in 1257.Chesham is known for its four Bs — boots, beer, brushes and Baptists. In the face of fierce competition from both home and abroad during the later 19th and early 20th centuries, the three traditional industries rapidly declined. The ready availability of skilled labour encouraged new industries to the town both before and after the Second World War. Today, employment in the town is provided mainly by small businesses engaged in light industry, technology and professional services. From the early part of the 20th century, Chesham has experienced a considerable expansion, with new housing developments and civic infrastructure. Chesham has become a commuter town with improved connection to London via the London Underground and road networks. The town centre has been progressively redeveloped since the 1960s and has been pedestrianised since the 1990s. The population at the 2021 census was 23,008.

Chiltern Voice is a not-for-profit, community radio station serving Chesham and Amersham and the surrounding towns and villages of the Chilterns in the UK and is constituted as a CIC. It transmits from a site in Chesham Bois and broadcasts an adult contemporary music format. Started in 2016 as an internet station with two short-term Restricted Service Licences, it was granted a community radio licence by Ofcom and began broadcasting on 107.4 MHz on 29 November 2021 to a TSA (total survey area) of 88,000 people.

Chesham Mosque is a mosque in Chesham, Buckinghamshire, England. It was constructed between 2004 and 2005, to replace the former mosque, which was located in two converted houses on Bellingdon Road. The total cost of the construction work was £1.6 million, all of which was raised from donations and collections. Amy Lane, also known as The Meadow, is a cricket ground in Chesham, Buckinghamshire. The first recorded match on the ground was in 1907, Buckinghamshire played the Worcestershire Second XI. Buckinghamshire next used the ground in 1951, and from 1951 to 1982 the ground hosted 32 Minor Counties Championship matches, the last of which saw Buckinghamshire play Suffolk. Buckinghamshire returned to the ground in 1993 to play the first and only MCCA Knockout Trophy match held at the ground, against Oxfordshire.The ground has also held 2 List-A matches. The first was between Buckinghamshire and Hampshire in 2nd round of the 1970 Gillette Cup. A Minor Counties East team played Leicestershire in the 1978 Benson and Hedges Cup, which was the final List-A match held on the ground.In local domestic cricket, the ground is the home venue of Chesham Cricket Club.

Chesham United Football Club is a semi-professional football club in Chesham, Buckinghamshire, England. Nicknamed "the Generals", they are currently members of the Southern League Premier Division South and play at the Meadow.

Aylesbury United Football Club is a football club based in Chesham, Buckinghamshire, England. They are currently members of Division One Central of the Southern League and play at Chesham United's Meadow ground, having been evicted from their Buckingham Road ground in 2006. They are nicknamed the Ducks due to the Aylesbury duck.

Botley is a hamlet in the civil parish of Chesham, in Buckinghamshire, England.The hamlet name is Anglo Saxon in origin, and means Botta's Clearing. Botley includes the Hen and Chickens public house and Goose Acre pond. Most of the houses in Botley are on Botley Road. Botley is divided between the civil parishes of Chesham and Latimer, and merges into the village of Ley Hill.
