Kensington, Prince Edward Island

The Kensington Railway Station is a National Historic Site of Canada, located in the town of Kensington, Prince Edward Island. The train station was the third built at the site, and one of two "boulder stations" built by Charles Benjamin Chappell in 1904, so named for the fieldstone composing its exterior walls. Passenger service to the station was terminated in 1969, and in 1985 the site was purchased by the town of Kensington. In 1990, diesel locomotive Engine 1762 was moved to the site from Summerside for permanent display. The building has been restored and renovated, and has been used for various purposes, including as a library and tourist information centre. It is currently used as a restaurant.

The Municipality of Malpeque Bay is a municipality that holds community status in Prince Edward Island, Canada. It is located in Prince County and Queens County. The municipality derives its name from Malpeque Bay, the second largest bay in the province which forms the municipality's western boundary. The municipality straddles several levels of geographic hierarchy in the province, including the townships of Lot 18 and Lot 20, the parishes of St. David's Parish and Grenville Parish, as well as the counties of Prince County and Queens County. The municipality's seat is in the community of Malpeque.

Woodleigh Replicas was a park of miniatures situated in the rural community of Burlington outside Kensington, Prince Edward Island on a 30-acre site. The visitor attraction opened in 1957 and closed in May 2008. In 2021 the property was purchased and the new owners began a restoration of the main structure, the Tower of London, as well as Dunvegan Castle. Though no longer intended as a tourist attraction, they are expected to be used for private rentals and events under the brand name Woodleigh Castles.
