Søholm (country house)

The Kai Nielsen House, situated at the corner of Krathusvej (No. 2) and Ørnekulsvej (formerly No. 14), is the former home of Danish sculptor Kai Nielsen in Ordrup north of Copenhagen, Denmark. It was completed in 1916 from a design by Ivar Bentsen. The house and associated studio was listed on the Danish registry of protected buildings and places in 1992.

The Rothenborg House (Danish: Rothenborgs Hus), Klampenborgvej 37, is a private home in Klampenborg, just north of Copenhagen, designed by the Danish architect Arne Jacobsen in 1930. The house was built for the lawyer Max Rothenborg. His wife was thrilled with the building and participated enthusiastically in its furnishings. Like many of Jacobsen's works, it was planned as a complete work of art, attention being given not just to the building itself but to its interior, including furniture and fittings. The press considered it a breakthrough for Jacobsen, comparing him with Le Corbusier. Some, however, were not ready to accept it as a genuinely modernistic house as it was made of brick rather than reinforced concrete and was based on a traditionally English approach. Nevertheless, the house still has a modern look with its white facade, its iron-framed windows and its cubic forms including the white walls of its sun terrace.The residence has undergone a number of conversions over the years, significantly detracting from its original design.

Ordrup station is a commuter rail station serving the suburb of Ordrup north of Copenhagen, Denmark. It is located on the Klampenborg radial of Copenhagen's S-train network and is served by the C-line, and in exceptional circumstances by the F-line to Hellerup.

Charlottenlund Palace (Danish: Charlottenlund Slot) is a former royal summer residence in Charlottenlund, some 10 km (6 mi) north of central Copenhagen, Denmark. The palace was named after Princess Charlotte Amalie, who was responsible for the construction of the original palace. It was later extended and adapted for Crown Prince Frederick VIII to a design by Ferdinand Meldahl in the early 1880s. From 1935 to 2017, the building has housed the Danish Biological Station (Dansk Biologisk Station), later renamed Danish Fishery Survey and in the final years called DTU Aqua. It is now a cultural event venue. The Great Hall is occasionally used for classical concerts.

Forstbotanisk Have (lit. "Forestry Botanical Garden"), or Charlottenlund Arboretum was established in 1838 as an educational garden for botanists as part of the University of Copenhagen. It has previously been managed as a unit under the Hørsholm Arboretum, which in turn is operated by the University of Copenhagen's Department of Geosciences and Natural Resource Management. From 2008 until October 2021 it had been managed by the Skov- og Naturstyrelsen ("The Danish Nature Agency"). The land is now rented from the state and maintained by Gentofte Municipality. It is located in the grounds of Charlottenlund Palace north of Copenhagen, Denmark.It is 3.5 hectares in size and has more than 600 species of trees and plants. It is open to the public for free 24 hours a day.
