Rhode GAA is a Gaelic Athletic Association club located just outside the Village of Rhode in County Offaly, Ireland. With 30 Senior Football wins they are the most successful team in Offaly GAA football history.

Rhode (Irish: Ród) is a village in County Offaly, Ireland. It is situated on the R400 at its junction with the R441 which leads to Edenderry, 12 km to the east. Rhode village is on an "island" of high ground surrounded by an expanse of raised bog which forms part of the Bog of Allen.

Croghan Hill (Irish: Cnoc Cruacháin or Brí Éile) is a hill with a height of 234 metres (768 ft) in County Offaly, Ireland. The remains of an extinct volcano, it rises from the Bog of Allen and dominates the surrounding plains. Historically known as Brí Éile, it is mentioned in Irish mythology and is traditionally seen as a sacred hill. On the summit is an ancient pagan burial mound with panoramic views, which reputedly became the inauguration site of the kings of Uí Failghe. On the eastern slope is an old graveyard and the remains of a medieval church, while at the western foot of the hill is the remains of a medieval settlement, church and castle. An ancient bog body, Old Croghan Man, was found nearby. The village of Croghan is at the southern foot of the hill.

The R441 road, also called the Rhode–Edenderry Road, is a regional road in Ireland, located in County Offaly.

Pass of Kilbride (Irish: Bealach Cille Bríde) is a townland in County Westmeath, Ireland. The townland is located on the border with County Offaly and is in the civil parish of the same name. The M6 motorway runs through the southern part of the townland, with the R400 regional road running through the middle. The Monagh River flows through the south of the area, with the Milltown River forming the western border as it meets the village of Milltownpass, and the Kinnegad River forming the eastern border. The Milltownpass Bog is in the northern part of the townland.

Pass of Kilbride (Irish: Bealach Cille Bríde) is a civil parish in County Westmeath, Ireland. It is located about 11.97 kilometres (7 mi) south‑south‑east of Mullingar. Pass of Kilbride is one of 10 civil parishes in the barony of Fartullagh in the Province of Leinster. The civil parish covers 4,094.9 acres (16.571 km2). Pass of Kilbride civil parish comprises the village of Milltownpass and 5 townlands: Corcloon, Drumman, Gallstown, Milltown and Pass of Kilbride. An Abbey stands outside the village of Milltownpass, known locally as Pass of Kilbride Abbey. The neighbouring civil parishes are: Enniscoffey to the north, Killucan (barony of Farbill), Ballyboggan (County Meath) and Castlejordan (County Meath) to the east, Castlelost to the south and Kilbride to the west.

Milltownpass (Irish: Bealach Bhaile an Mhuilinn) is a village in County Westmeath, Ireland. It is in the south of the county, 10 km south-east of Mullingar. The village is on the R446 regional road (formerly the N6 national primary route); the old route was replaced by a dual-carriageway from Kinnegad to Tyrrellspass in 2006, bypassing the village. Milltownpass is the second largest village in the parish of Rochfortbridge. It was one of the first villages in Ireland to have its own electricity supply: a mill on the Milltown River providing power to the village long before rural electrification. The village is close to the Milltownpass Bog. The Milltown River begins at the north side of the village and flows south to the County Offaly border where it splits into the Monagh River. Amenities in Milltownpass include Grennan's pub, social services, a community centre, St. Joseph's National Primary School, and funeral home. Local employers include Cole Arc Engineers, Wrights Windows and Skyclad. The local GAA team is Milltownpass GAA.

Rattin Castle (Irish: Caisleán Raitin) is a ruined castle located southwest of the town of Kinnegad in County Westmeath, Ireland. The castle dates to the 16th century, and was built as a defensive tower for the local lands. The lands were originally owned by Hugh De Lacy, before he passed it onto John D'Arcy. The castle remained in the family's possession until the Irish Rebellion of 1641, in which it was forfeited.The M6 Motorway now passes close to the castle ruins - which are still largely intact.

Ballinabrackey (Irish: Buaile na Bréachmhaí) is a village in County Meath in Ireland. It is in the civil parish of Castlejordan.The ecclesiastical parish of Ballinabrackey is located between Kinnegad and Edenderry, and spans parts of County Meath and County Offaly. The local parish church, which was built c. 1972, is in the Roman Catholic Diocese of Meath.Ballinabrackey GAA, the local Gaelic Athletic Association club, won the 2020 Meath Intermediate Football Championship.

Milltownpass Bog is a peat bog in County Westmeath, Ireland. The bog is near the village of Milltownpass on the R446 regional road. As a raised bog of ecological interest, it has been declared a Natural Heritage Area.
