Killucan (civil parish)

Farbill (Irish: Fir Bhile) is a barony in east County Westmeath, in Ireland. It was formed by 1672. It is bordered by County Meath to the south and east and three other baronies: Fartullagh (to the south–west), Moyashel and Magheradernon (to the north–east) and Delvin (to the north). The largest centre of population in the barony is the town of Kinnegad.

The villages of Killucan (Irish: Cill Liúcainne, meaning 'church of Lucan') and Rathwire (Irish: Ráth Guaire, meaning 'fort of Guaire') are co-located in the east of County Westmeath, Ireland. They have a combined population of 1,370 according to the 2016 census. Killucan is on the R156 road about 15 km (9.3 mi) from Mullingar and 60 km (37 mi) from Dublin.

Killucan station is a former railway station which served the village of Killucan in County Westmeath, Ireland. Previously a stop on the Dublin–Sligo railway line, the station closed in 1963.

Raharney GAA is a Gaelic Athletic Association club located in the village of Raharney in County Westmeath, Ireland. The club is almost exclusively concerned with the game of hurling.

Coralstown (Irish: Baile Mhic Cearúill), also Correllstown, is a village in County Westmeath, Ireland. It is located in the south of the county on the N4 road, to the north of Kinnegad.The village contains a National school, a post office, and a church dedicated to St Agnes.

It has a population of 221 according to the 2016 census.Raharney is on the R156 road about 18 km (11 mi) from Mullingar and about 67 km from Dublin. It is in the parish of Killucan; the village of Killucan is a further 3 km (1.9 mi) west.

Kinnegad or Kinagad (Irish: Cionn Átha Gad, meaning 'head of the ford of withes') is a town in County Westmeath, Ireland. It is on the border with County Meath, near the junction of the M6 and the M4 motorways - two of Ireland's main east–west roads. It is roughly 60 km from the capital, Dublin. From 1996 to 2016, there was a considerable increase in Kinnegad's population, from 517 to 2,745 inhabitants. According to the 2016 census, approximately 79% of the town's housing stock (715 out of 907 households) was built between 1991 and 2010.

Killagh is a civil parish in County Westmeath, Ireland. It is located about 15.29 kilometres (10 mi) east–north–east of Mullingar. Killagh is one of 7 civil parishes in the barony of Delvin in the Province of Leinster. The civil parish covers 2,005.6 acres (8.116 km2). Killagh civil parish comprises six townlands, and the neighbouring civil parishes include: Killulagh to the north, Killucan to the south and Rathconnell (barony of Moyashel and Magheradernon) to the west.

Rattin Castle (Irish: Caisleán Raitin) is a ruined castle located southwest of the town of Kinnegad in County Westmeath, Ireland. The castle dates to the 16th century, and was built as a defensive tower for the local lands. The lands were originally owned by Hugh De Lacy, before he passed it onto John D'Arcy. The castle remained in the family's possession until the Irish Rebellion of 1641, in which it was forfeited.The M6 Motorway now passes close to the castle ruins - which are still largely intact.

Killulagh is one of 7 civil parishes in the barony of Delvin in the Province of Leinster. The civil parish covers 7,588.8 acres (30.711 km2). Killulagh civil parish comprises 17 townlands, and the neighbouring civil parishes include: Delvin, Kilcumny and St. Feighin's (barony of Fore) to the north, Killaconnigan (barony of Lune, County Meath) to the east, Killagh, Killucan and Rathconnell (barony of Moyashel and Magheradernon) to the south and Kilpatrick (barony of Fore) to the west.

Ballinabrackey (Irish: Buaile na Bréachmhaí) is a village in County Meath in Ireland. It is in the civil parish of Castlejordan.The ecclesiastical parish of Ballinabrackey is located between Kinnegad and Edenderry, and spans parts of County Meath and County Offaly. The local parish church, which was built c. 1972, is in the Roman Catholic Diocese of Meath.Ballinabrackey GAA, the local Gaelic Athletic Association club, won the 2020 Meath Intermediate Football Championship.
