Drimnagh Castle

Drimnagh Castle Secondary School (Irish: Meánscoil Iognáid Rís) is a Christian Brothers secondary school located on the Long Mile Road in the suburb of Drimnagh, Dublin, Ireland. The school buildings are situated directly beside the old Norman castle, Drimnagh Castle, from which the school takes its name.

Bluebell (Irish: An Cloigín Gorm) is a stop on the Luas light-rail tram system in Dublin, Ireland. It opened in 2004 as a stop on the Red Line. The stop is located on a section of reserved track in a wide central reservation on the Naas Road dual carriageway in the Bluebell area of Dublin. It provides access to Drimnagh Castle and Lansdowne Valley Park. The stop is also served by Dublin Bus routes 13, 68, and 69.

Inchicore (Irish: Inse Chór) is a suburb of Dublin, Ireland. Located approximately 5 kilometres (3.1 mi) west of the city centre, Inchicore was originally a small village separate from Dublin. The village developed around Richmond Barracks (built 1810) and Inchicore railway works (built 1846), before being incorporated into the expanding city bounds. Inchicore is a largely residential area and is home to the association football club St Patrick's Athletic FC.

It consists mainly of privately owned housing, with some social housing remaining in the Dublin City Council area between the Walkinstown and Long Mile Roads and Ballymount Lower. It was built as an estate of starter homes after World War II. Light industry, warehousing, car dealerships, and commercial outlet stores are concentrated along the Long Mile Road in the western sector of the suburb. The national census of 2016 recorded a local population of 6,819 people. Walkinstown has a library, residents' association, sports ground, community centre, schools, pubs, church, and local shops.

Kylemore (Irish: An Choill Mhóir) is a stop on the Luas light-rail tram system in Dublin, Ireland. It opened in 2004 as a stop on the Red Line. The stop is located on a section of reserved track in a wide central reservation on the Naas Road dual carriageway near the intersection with Kylemore road, and is virtually identical to Bluebell Luas stop. It provides access to Walkinstown, St James Gaels GAA and Kylemore College. The stop is also served by Dublin Bus routes 13, 18, 51x, 68, 69, 69x, and 151.

Blackhorse (Irish: An Capall Dubh) is a stop on the Luas light-rail tram system in Dublin, Ireland. It opened in 2004 as a stop on the Red Line. The stop is located at the intersection of Davitt Road and Naas Road. The stop has two edge platforms, and is of the same design as many Luas stops. After departing the stop, northbound trams head along a section of track which runs adjacent to the Grand Canal on their way to Connolly or The Point. Southbound trams turn onto Naas Road, travelling south-west towards Tallaght or Saggart. The stop lies adjacent to Blackhorse bridge and a pub called The Black Horse. The stop is also served by Dublin Bus routes 13, 68 and 69.

Inchicore Railway Works, also known locally as 'Inchicore' or 'The Works', was founded by the Great Southern & Western Railway in 1846 and emerged to become the major engineering centre for railways in Ireland. Located c. 3km west of Dublin city centre, the works cover an area of approximately 73 acres (300,000 m2).The works are responsible for the overhaul, repair, servicing, spraying and washing of locomotives and rolling stock. In the past, the manufacture, assembly and rebuild of locomotives and rolling stock has been performed at Inchicore.
