Malahide railway station

The Casino Model Railway Museum at Malahide, Ireland (previously called the Fry Model Railway) is the display home for the Fry Model Collection in the refurbished Casino cottage building in central Malahide. It opened to the public on 22 January 2020.The railway and collection was moved from its previous home in Malahide Castle in 2010. The collection originated from the work of Cyril Fry who had created the collection to run on his layout at his cottage in Churchtown, Dublin.

Malahide ( MAL-ə-hyde; Irish: Mullach Íde, meaning 'possibly "the [sand]hill of Íde"') is an affluent coastal settlement in Fingal, County Dublin, Ireland, situated 14 kilometres (9 mi) north of Dublin city. It has a village centre surrounded by suburban housing estates, with a population of over 17,000. Malahide Castle dates from the 12th century and is surrounded by a large park, part of which incorporates an international cricket ground. The area also features a sandy beach, a marina, and a variety of sporting clubs.

St Sylvester's is a Gaelic Athletic Association club based in Malahide, Fingal, Ireland. The club was founded in 1903 and last won the Dublin Senior Football Championship in 1996. The club plays hurling and Gaelic football.

Bon Appétit is a restaurant located at 9 James Terrace, Malahide, County Dublin, Ireland. It is a fine dining restaurant that received one Michelin star in each year from 2008 until 2015.The restaurant is established in 2006 and housed in a classic Georgian house in the village of Malahide. Aside from the Michelin-starred restaurant there is also a brasserie in the building. Prior to 'Bon Appétit' it housed "Johnny's" (1974–1989), a restaurant run by Johnny Opperman, and "Bon Appetit" (1990–2006), run by Patsy McGuirck.The head chef of Bon Appétit is Oliver Dunne.

Malahide Cricket Club Ground or The Village is a cricket ground in Malahide, Ireland situated in the Lady Acre field of Malahide Castle grounds. The ground is owned by the Malahide Cricket Club. The ground has been developed to a capacity of 11,500 making it Ireland's biggest cricket venue and officially opened for international cricket in 2013. In November 2017, it was confirmed as the venue for Ireland's first Test match, when they played Pakistan in May 2018.

Malahide Cricket Club was founded in 1861 and is situated within Malahide Castle demesne, near the railway station. The club has over 400 members and is open all year round. The club currently fields 20 teams (5 Senior Men’s, 2 Ladies, Development XI, 12 youth and a Taverners side). The club has won a number of honours in its history, most notably the Irish Senior Cup in 2002 (Men's) and the Ladies' Senior Cup and Pilkington Plate competitions.

The Broadmeadow viaduct is a rail bridge carrying the main Dublin to Belfast railway across the estuary of the Broadmeadow River, about 13 kilometres north of Dublin, Ireland. Just north of Malahide village, it is approximately 180 metres (600 feet) long and is a section of a longer crossing constructed as an embankment. The viaduct carries around ninety trains, including commuter services and heavy freight, per day and it is the sole rail route between Dublin and Belfast. It has had a history of problems with its foundations being scoured out by strong currents.

Malahide Castle (Irish: Caisleán Mhullach Íde), parts of which date to the 12th century, lies close to the village of Malahide, nine miles (14 km) north of central Dublin in Ireland. It has over 260 acres (1.1 km2) of remaining parkland estate, forming the Malahide Demesne Regional Park.

Malahide Community School (MCS; Irish: Pobalscoil Íosa) is a co-educational secondary school located in Malahide, County Dublin, Ireland. It accepts pupils of all religious denominations. The school grew from 512 students in 1976 to 1200 students by 2006, and remained at around 1200 as of 2018.

Naomh Mearnóg is a Gaelic Athletic Association club in the parish of Portmarnock, County Dublin, Ireland. The club was founded in 1975 and now fields a total of 35 teams in football, hurling, camogie and ladies' football. These include three adult football teams, two adult hurling teams, two adult camogie teams and an adult ladies' football team. They also cater for many juvenile teams.

The Broadmeadow River (Irish: Abhainn Ghabhra) or Broad Meadow Water, is a river of County Meath and northern County Dublin, about 25 kilometres (16 mi) long. It opens into a wide estuary between Swords and Malahide, and reaches the open sea several kilometres downstream, north of Malahide village. One of the larger watercourses by volume in County Dublin, the Broadmeadow is a salmonid river, with several species of fish, including brown trout. It has many small, and a few larger, tributaries, notably the Ward River. It is under the responsibility of Meath County Council and Fingal County Council, as well as oversight of the Environmental Protection Agency.

Portmarnock Community School (Irish: Pobalscoil Phortmearnóg) is a public secondary school situated in Portmarnock, County Dublin. It was built by the Department of Education and Science in 1979, and was one of the first community schools built in Ireland. As of 2019, the school had an enrollment of over 900 students.
