Old Church, New Jersey

Stonebridge is a gated community and census-designated place (CDP) in Monroe Township, Middlesex County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. It is in the southwestern part of the township, bordered to the north, across Union Valley Road, by Clearbrook, to the west by Applegarth Road, and to the south by Federal Road. It is 5 miles (8 km) south of Jamesburg and 4 miles (6 km) northeast of Hightstown. The community was first listed as a CDP prior to the 2020 census.

Union Valley is an unincorporated community located within Monroe Township in Middlesex County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. Two large age-restricted communities lie within the settlement today, Clearbrook Park and Concordia. Other than those two communities, the only other buildings in the area are medical offices and facilities and some single-family homes along Union Valley Road (part of County Route 615 west of the area).

Applegarth is an unincorporated community located within Monroe Township in Middlesex County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. The settlement is located in the southern portion of the township and is traversed by the road of the same name, Applegarth Road (CR 619). At the location of the original settlement, at the intersection of Applegarth, Wycoffs Mills, and Old Church Roads, there is a restaurant, farmland, and the Applegarth Fire Department. Further north along Applegarth Road are housing developments, age-restricted communities, and two elementary schools: Applegarth and Oak Tree.

Clearbrook is a gated community and census-designated place (CDP) located in Monroe Township, Middlesex County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. It is in the western part of the township, bordered to the north by Encore at Monroe and to the east by Concordia and The Ponds. It is 3.5 miles (5.6 km) southwest of Jamesburg and 5 miles (8 km) northeast of Hightstown. The CDP was named Clearbrook Park in the 2000 and 2010 censuses and renamed in 2020. As of the 2010 United States Census, the CDP's population was 2,667.

Wyckoffs Mills is an unincorporated community located along the border of Cranbury and Monroe townships in Middlesex County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. Located at the intersection of Wyckoff Mills Road and Wyckoffs Mills Road, the area only contains lots containing residential structures; the remainder of the land is made up of farmland and wetlands. The Millstone River flows to the south of the settlement and a 500-kilovolt transmission line crosses the farmland to the north and south.

Concordia is an unincorporated community and census-designated place (CDP) located within Monroe Township, in Middlesex County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. The CDP is oriented around the age restricted gated community of Concordia. As of the 2010 United States Census, the CDP's population was 3,092.

Encore at Monroe is a gated community and census-designated place (CDP) located in Monroe Township, Middlesex County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. It is in the western part of the township, bordered to the south by Clearbrook. It is 3 miles (5 km) southwest of Jamesburg, 15 miles (24 km) south of New Brunswick, 6 miles (10 km) northeast of Hightstown, and 18 miles (29 km) northeast of Trenton. The community was first listed as a CDP prior to the 2020 census.

Cranbury Station is an unincorporated community located within Cranbury Township in Middlesex County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. The area immediately around the site of the former railroad station along the Camden and Amboy Railroad contains agricultural businesses and small homes. Hightstown-Cranbury Station Road is the main road through the settlement paralleling the railroad and Station Road (County Route 615) as a major road heading east and west through the area. Modern warehouses line Station Road and the nearby New Jersey Turnpike west of the station while large housing developments are located east of here in Monroe Township.

Half Acre is an unincorporated community located within Monroe Township in Middlesex County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. The settlement is located roughly at the intersection of Prospect Plains Road (County Route 614) and Half Acre Road (CR 615) in the center of the township. Some single-family homes and small businesses are located along those two roads and Cranbury-Half Acre Road but most of the area is made up of age-restricted housing developments including Concordia, Clearbrook Park, Greenbriar at Whittingham, and Encore at Monroe.

Monroe Manor is a census-designated place (CDP) located in Monroe Township, Middlesex County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. It is in the southernmost part of Middlesex County and consists of the developments of Monroe Manor and Monroe Place. It is bordered to the south by Millstone Township in Monmouth County and to the west by the Renaissance at Monroe development. New Jersey Route 33 forms the northern border of the CDP, leading west 2.5 miles (4.0 km) to Hightstown and east 11 miles (18 km) to Freehold. The area was first listed as a CDP prior to the 2020 census.

Renaissance at Monroe is a planned community and census-designated place (CDP) in Monroe Township, Middlesex County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. It is in the southwest part of the township, bordered to the east by Monroe Manor and to the east by East Windsor Township in Mercer County. New Jersey Route 33 forms the northern edge of the community; it is 1.5 miles (2.4 km) west to Exit 8 on the New Jersey Turnpike and 11 miles (18 km) east to Freehold. It was first listed as a CDP in the 2020 census with a population of 637.

Prospect Plains is an unincorporated community located within Monroe Township in Middlesex County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. The settlement is located at the intersection of Prospect Plains Road (County Route 614) and Applegarth Road (CR 619). Retail businesses generally line the two aforementioned county roads in the area but some single-family houses are clustered around the site of the Camden & Amboy railroad crossing of Prospect Plains Road.The location is the site of the Monroe Oak, a white oak tree present at the time of the township's establishment in 1838. Following the attempted development at the site of the tree to a gas station, the tree has been preserved and became the official symbol of Monroe Township. Prospect Plains was also the site of a railroad station on the Camden & Amboy Railroad, a one-room school house, and was the long-time home of the township's municipal office.
