Dublin Writers Museum

Chapter One is a restaurant in Parnell Square in Dublin, Ireland. It is a fine dining restaurant that has been awarded one Michelin star from 2007 to present. The Michelin Guide awarded the restaurant the "Red M", indicating 'good food at a reasonable price', in the period 1996–2001.The restaurant is located in the basement of the Dublin Writers Museum and the Irish Writers’ Centre. The name of the restaurant refers to that.In 2007 and 2008 the restaurant was completely renovated and modernised. New rules for hygiene and working conditions made that necessary.On May 21, 2021, The Irish Times announced that chef Mickael Viljanen had entered into a business partnership with head chef and owner Ross Lewis, and would take over as the head chef of Chapter One. Lewis stays on as co-owner.

The Garden of Remembrance (Irish: An Gairdín Cuimhneacháin) is a memorial garden in Dublin dedicated to the memory of "all those who gave their lives in the cause of Irish Freedom". It is located in the northern fifth of the former Rotunda Gardens in Parnell Square, a Georgian square at the northern end of O'Connell Street. The garden was opened by Eamon de Valera during the semicentennial of the Easter Rising in 1966.

The Hugh Lane Gallery, officially Dublin City Gallery The Hugh Lane and originally the Municipal Gallery of Modern Art, is an art museum operated by Dublin City Council and its subsidiary, the Hugh Lane Gallery Trust. It is in Charlemont House (built 1763) on Parnell Square, Dublin, Ireland. Admission is free.

Charlemont House is a mansion in Dublin, Ireland. The house was built in 1763 and designed by William Chambers for James Caulfeild, the 1st Earl of Charlemont. It is a stone fronted mansion on Dublin's Parnell Square. It was purchased by the government in 1870 and since 1933 it has housed the Hugh Lane Dublin City Gallery.

It was a tobacco shop, guesthouse, restaurant and meeting place and its guests had wide-ranging influence over the Irish Nationalist movement, well-known works of literature and the development of Irish sport in the early 20th century. It has been located in various buildings on North Frederick Street, including 1B, 9 and 30 North Frederick street.

Parnell Square (Irish: Cearnóg Parnell) is a Georgian square sited at the northern end of O'Connell Street in the city of Dublin, Ireland. It is in the city's D01 postal district. Formerly named Rutland Square, it was renamed after Charles Stewart Parnell (1846–1891), as was Parnell Street, which forms the southern side of the square. Surrounded on three sides by terraces of original intact Georgian houses, much of the southern part of the square and its centre is taken up by extensions of the Rotunda Hospital while the Garden of Remembrance is located along the northern side of this area. The main entrance to the Garden of Remembrance is on the eastern side of the square, with a smaller entrance on the northern side of the square.

The Rotunda Hospital (Irish: Ospidéal an Rotunda; legally the Hospital for the Relief of Poor Lying-in Women, Dublin) is a maternity hospital on Parnell Street in Dublin, Ireland, now managed by RCSI Hospitals. The eponymous Rotunda in Parnell Square is no longer a part of the hospital complex.
