Draperstown

Draperstown railway station was on the Draperstown Railway which ran from Magherafelt to Draperstown in Northern Ireland, United Kingdom.

St Colm's High School is a secondary school located in Draperstown, Mid-Ulster, Northern Ireland. The school opened in September 1961. It is within the Education Authority (North Eastern) region.

St Colm's Ballinascreen GAC (Irish: CLG Naomh Colm Baile na Scrine) is a Gaelic Athletic Association club based in Ballinascreen, which includes the town of Draperstown, County Londonderry, Northern Ireland. The club is a member of the Derry GAA. It currently caters for Gaelic football, hurling, camogie and ladies' Gaelic football and have 25 teams across the four sports. Underage teams up to U-12's play in the south Derry GAA league and championships, from U-14 upwards teams compete in All-Derry competitions.

Straw (from Irish Srath 'wide valley') is a small village and townland in County Londonderry, Northern Ireland. In the 2021 Census it had a population of 416. It lies to the south-west of the parish and is bounded to the south and west by the civil parish of Ballinascreen. It is bounded by the following townlands: Drumard, Gortahurk, Mormeal, Tamnyaskey and Tullyroan. It was apportioned to the Drapers company and freeholds. The townland was part of Tobermore electoral ward of the former Magherafelt District Council, however in 1901 and 1926 it was part of Iniscarn district electoral division as part of the Draperstown dispensary (registrar's) district of Magherafelt Rural District. It was also part of the historic barony of Loughinsholin.

Mormeal (locally [ˌmɔrˈmeːl] and [ˌmɔrˈmiːl], from Irish Mír Mhíchíl 'Michael's portion') is a townland lying within the civil parish of Kilcronaghan, County Londonderry, Northern Ireland. It lies in the west of the parish with the Altagoan river to its west forming the parish boundary with Ballynascreen. It is bounded by the townlands of: Brackaghlislea, Drumard, Duntibryan, Gortnaskey, Granny, Tamnyaskey. It wasn't apportioned to any of the London livery companies, being kept as church lands. The townland was part of Tobermore electoral ward of the former Magherafelt District Council, however in 1926 it was part of Tobermore district electoral division as part of the Maghera division of Magherafelt Rural District. It was also part of the historic barony of Loughinsholin.

Drumconready is a townland within the civil parish of Maghera, County Londonderry, Northern Ireland. It is approximately 490 acres (0.8 sq mi) in area. The townland lies on the south-west of the parish, with the Moyola River forming its southern boundary. It is bounded by the townlands of Ballynure, Coolnasillagh, Kirley, Moneyguiggy, and Moybeg Kirley. It was apportioned to the Drapers company. The townland in 1926 was part of Carnamoney district electoral division as part of the Draperstown dispensary (registrar's) district of Magherafelt Rural District. Corick (from Irish Comhrac 'confluence') is a megalithic site and townland in the civil parish of Ballynascreen, County Londonderry, Northern Ireland. It includes a stone circle and a stone row. The Corick stone circles and alignments are located 2 km north east of Ballybriest court-tomb, 400 metres south of Corick clachan, near a stream. The stone alignments and circle are Scheduled Historic Monuments in Corick at grid reference: Area of H780 896.

It is in the north-west of the parish, with the Moyola River forming its northern boundary. It is bounded by the townlands of Drumconready, Drumcrow, Kirley, Moneyguiggy, and Moneyshanere. It was apportioned to the Drapers' Company. The townland was part of the Tobermore electoral ward of the former Magherafelt District Council. In 1926 it was part of Carnamoney district electoral division as part of the Draperstown dispensary (registrar's) district of Magherafelt Rural District. It was also part of the historic barony of Loughinsholin.

It is bounded by the townlands of Brackaghlislea, Coolsaragh, Drumard, Keenaght, Letteran, Straw Mountain, Tintagh, and Tullyroan. It was apportioned to the Drapers company. The townland was part of Tobermore electoral ward of the former Magherafelt District Council, however in 1901 and 1926 it was part of Iniscarn district electoral division as part of the Draperstown dispensary (registrar's) district of Magherafelt Rural District. It was also part of the historic barony of Loughinsholin.
