Clare Abbey, also known as Clareabbey, is a ruined Augustinian monastery located near the Town of Ennis, along the banks of the Fergus River, and about a mile north of Clarecastle in County Clare, Ireland. The Abbey, founded in 1189, was the largest and most important of the Augustinian monasteries in County Clare.

Ennis railway station serves the town of Ennis in County Clare, Ireland. Ennis is the terminus station of the Limerick to Ennis Commuter service (intermediate stop Sixmilebridge) and a station on the Limerick to Galway intercity service. Passengers for Dublin/Cork or Waterford transfer at Limerick. The station forms part of the Western Railway Corridor, the name given to a group of lines in the west of Ireland between Limerick and Sligo. Five services pass through Ennis on the Limerick–Galway service with more just running Limerick–Ennis. The Limerick Colbert to Galway Ceannt service calls at Sixmilebridge, Ennis, Gort, Ardrahan, Craughwell, Athenry and Oranmore.

Roslevan is a residential area on the eastern side of Ennis, County Clare, Ireland. The area has many housing estates such as Oakleigh Wood, Cappahard, Corrovorin. There are two council housing estates in the area, called, Bridgecourt and Bridgeview. It is expected that by 2012 the area will have a population of 7,000.The Area includes the €10 million Roslevan Shopping Centre which opened in April 2005. The shopping centre includes a butcher, pharmacy, Off Licence, pub, bookmakers, Chinese restaurant, gym and a Costcutter supermarket.There are plans to construct a new Roman Catholic church along with a funeral parlour and a community hall.A development in the area that is underway includes 10 acres (40,000 m2) of parkland with lakes, riverside walks and woodlands included.Primary education is mainly provided by Knockanean National School in nearby Knockanean, and by various other primary schools in Ennis.

glór, formerly glór Irish Music Centre, is a concert and events venue in Ireland, located in the town of Ennis County Clare. Its capacity allows for 485 people for seated performances. glór also has a studio space for smaller events and artist use, an art gallery, café and bar. Since opening in 2001 the venue has become a setting for a wide range of acts including stand-up comedy, drama performances, art exhibitions and a variety of concerts. glór was designed by Des McMahon of Gilroy McMahon Architects. The challenge was to create a building which would allow the user to experience Irish music in an intimate and real way, whether in a small group or as a member of a large audience.

Clare FM is an Irish radio station which broadcasts to County Clare and the surrounding areas. The station has won many Irish radio awards. Clare FM broadcasts on frequencies 95 - 96FM including 95.2, 95.5, 95.9, 96.4 & 96.6. In the past, it also provided an opt-out service.In January 2019, it was announced that the station was sold to Radio Kerry Holdings. In July 2019, the proposed sale fell through following a breakdown during the negotiations.A history on the beginning of the commercial radio station was released in 2019. 'Launching Clare FM' was written by Ger Sweeney, the first presenter to speak on the Clare FM airwaves.

The County Clare Building (Irish: Áras Contae an Chláir) is a municipal building in Ennis, County Clare, Ireland.

Cusack Park (Páirc Uí Chíosóg in Irish) is a GAA stadium in Ennis, County Clare, Ireland. It is the primary home of the Clare Hurling, Gaelic Football, Camogie and Peil na mBan teams at all grades. Named after the founder of the GAA, Michael Cusack, the ground had an original capacity of about 28,000 (mostly terraced), but following a 2011 safety review, the certified capacity was reduced to 14,864.Three sides of the ground are terraced - the two areas behind the goals and one terraced length of the pitch which is also covered. In 2006 there were media reports of substantial offers from property developers to buy the stadium and relocate it to a new 42,000 capacity site outside the town centre. However, by 2009 it appeared unlikely given the recent Celtic Tiger crash that this would happen. Between 2009–12, Clare GAA invested over €500,000 in refurbishment works including pitch drainage and fencing around the pitch. In 2015 a major renovation started, this included the demolition and re-erection of the main stand and construction of a new entrance/exit at the north side of the stadium. Once completed in late 2017 the official capacity was increased to 19,000 people for the start of the 2018 season. On 17 June 2018 the stadium was completely sold out for the first time since re-opening for the visit of local rivals Limerick GAAThe knockout stages of the Clare Senior Hurling Championship and the Clare Senior Football Championship are held annually in the stadium.

Rice College (Coláiste an Rísigh in Irish) is a secondary school in Ennis, County Clare, Ireland founded in 1826. It is also a C.B.S with a house on the property where "Brothers" still reside. No Brothers teach in the secondary school but it was previously run by the religious order. It was formerly an all-boys school, although girls were first admitted to repeat their leaving certificate examinations in 1985, it became coeducational in 1997. In 2006 construction started on an extension and was completed in early 2007. The school offers a wide range of subjects for students to choose from and since 2019 have required first years to choose a language and 2 optional subjects before they arrive. Transition year was introduced in 2008 with a class of 20-24 students being taken on.

Ennis (Irish: Inis, meaning 'island') is the county town of County Clare, Ireland. The Irish name is short for Inis Cluana Rámhfhada ("island of the long rowing meadow"). The town is on the River Fergus, north of where it enters the Shannon Estuary, 19 km (12 mi) from Shannon Airport. In 2016, Ennis had a population of 25,276, making it the largest town in Clare and the 12th largest in Ireland.

Clare Museum (Irish: Músaem an Chláir) is a museum which documents the history of County Clare. The museum is housed in the former Sisters of Mercy Convent in the centre of Ennis.

Ennis Courthouse (Irish: Teach Cúirte na hInse) is a judicial facility in Gort Road, Ennis, County Clare, Ireland.

Ennis Town Hall (Irish: Halla Baile Inse) is a municipal building in O'Connell Street, Ennis, County Clare, Ireland. The building accommodated the offices of Clonmel Urban District Council until 1965 but is now used as the banqueting suite of a local hotel.
