Gislöv Church (Swedish: Gislövs kyrka) is a medieval church east of Trelleborg, Sweden. It belongs to the Diocese of Lund.

Gislövs läge och Simremarken was a village situated in Trelleborg Municipality, Skåne County, Sweden with 1,462 inhabitants in 2005.It has since 2010 grown to be a joint part of the greater development of Trelleborg. There no longer exists an official development unit by this name.

Trelleborg Municipality (Trelleborgs kommun) is the southernmost municipality of Sweden, in Skåne County. Its seat is located in the city Trelleborg. The present municipality was created in 1967 through the amalgamation of the City of Trelleborg with five rural municipalities. It consists of over thirty original local government units. The municipality boasts 35 kilometers of predominantly sandy beach in the south, beech woods to the north, and in between one of the most fertile soils in the world.

The Trelleborg Parish (Swedish: Trelleborgs församling) is a parish belonging to the Diocese of Lund in the Church of Sweden and encompasses Trelleborg Municipality in Sweden. The main church is the church of Saint Nicholas located in Trelleborg. The parish covers a population of 22 807 people (2003). The parish was formed on July 1, 1867 as Trelleborg city parish from Trelleborg country parish. It incorporated the national parish on January 1, 1908 and at the same time changed its name to the current name. The parish initially formed a pastorate with the national parish and the parish of Maglarp, from 1908 only with Maglarp, and from 1962 formed its own pastorate.

Trelleborg (Swedish pronunciation: [trɛlɛˈbɔrj]) is a town in Skåne County, Sweden, with 43,359 inhabitants as of December 31, 2015. It is the southernmost town in Sweden located some 10–15 kilometres (6.2–9.3 mi) west from the southernmost point of Sweden and the Scandinavian peninsula. It is one of the most important ferry towns in Scandinavia as well as around the Baltic Sea, and the main town of the Söderslätt agricultural areas.

Vångavallen is a multi-purpose stadium in Trelleborg, Sweden. It is currently used mostly for football matches and is the home stadium of Trelleborgs FF. The stadium was opened on 5 June 1933. It has a capacity of 7,400 spectators, 3,000 of which is seated.

Trelleborg Old Water Tower is a now defunct water tower in Stadsparken, Trelleborg in southern Sweden.The erection of the water tower was initiated 1911 after drawings by the architect Ivar Tengbom, and was finished 1912. Since the town of Trelleborg lies in flat surroundings the tower had to be tall; it is 58 metres (190 ft) tall and is the largest building in Trelleborg. The uppermost three meters of the building is a copper-plated spire, a spire decorated by two spheres – one being 40 centimetres (16 in) in diameter, the other 60 centimetres (24 in) in diameter. The cistern could contain 300 cubic metres (11,000 cu ft) of water, its top was 42 metres (138 ft) above the ground, and the beams on which the cistern rested were 32 metres (105 ft) above the ground. The water tower was in use until 1974, when Trelleborg New Water Tower took over its functions. Except a café at street level the water tower stands unused.

Trelleborgs Museum is a museum in the city of Trelleborg in southern Sweden. The museum focuses on local history. The museum particularly exhibits a reconstruction of a Viking longhouse, and a reconstruction of a late Scandinavian Hunter-Gatherer from circa 7,000 BP, whose remains were found in the archaeological site of Skateholm, near Trelleborg.

Simlinge Church (Swedish: Simlinge kyrka) is a medieval Lutheran church north-east of Trelleborg, Sweden. It belongs to the Diocese of Lund.

Fru Alstad Church (Swedish: Fru Alstads kyrka) is a medieval Lutheran church in the province of Scania, Sweden. It belongs to the Diocese of Lund. It was built during the 15th century and was during the Middle Ages a local pilgrimage site.

Alstad is a locality situated in Trelleborg Municipality, Skåne County, Sweden with 237 inhabitants in 2010.

SS Mohamed Ali El-Kebir, formerly SS Teno, was one of a pair of steam turbine ocean liners built in Scotland in 1922 for the Chilean company CSAV. She and her sister ship Aconcagua ran between Valparaíso and New York via the Panama Canal until 1932, when CSAV was hit by the Great Depression and surrendered the two ships to the Scottish shipbuilder Lithgows to clear a debt. In 1935 the Egyptian company KML bought and renamed both ships and put them on routes across the Mediterranean. Teno was renamed Mohamed Ali El-Kebir after a former Egyptian monarch. In 1940 the British Government requisitioned both liners and had them converted into troop ships. Within months of being converted, Mohamed Ali El-Kebir was sunk in the Western Approaches by a German submarine with the loss of 96 people. However, her escort HMS Griffin drove away the submarine and rescued 766 survivors.
