Piscataway Technical High School

Livingston Campus, originally named Kilmer Area by Rutgers University in 1965, and later known as Kilmer Campus, is one of the five sub-campuses that make up Rutgers' New Brunswick/Piscataway area campus. The campus was originally built to house Livingston College. The majority of its land is the Rutgers Ecological Preserve. Most of the campus is within the boundaries of Piscataway, but parts extend into Highland Park and Edison.

The School of Management and Labor Relations (SMLR) is an industrial relations and professional school of Rutgers University. On June 19, 1947, New Jersey Governor Alfred Driscoll signed into law legislation which formally established the Institute for Management and Labor Relations (IMLR). In 1994 the Rutgers University Board of Governors approved a resolution that restructured IMLR as the School of Management and Labor Relations (SMLR). SMLR is housed at two locations on the Cook and Livingston campuses of Rutgers–New Brunswick.

Rutgers Business School – Newark and New Brunswick (also known as the Rutgers Business School, or RBS) is the graduate and undergraduate business school located on the Newark and New Brunswick campuses of Rutgers University. It was founded in 1929. It operated under several different names (the undergraduate Rutgers School of Business in New Brunswick and the Rutgers Graduate School of Management in Newark) before consolidating into Rutgers Business School. (The Rutgers School of Business in Camden remained a separate business school under the Rutgers University umbrella but was not part of the Newark/New Brunswick consolidation.) Rutgers Business School offers bachelor's, master's, and Ph.D. degrees.

The Fellowship Farm Cooperative Association was a Utopian anarchist community in the Stelton section of Piscataway Township, New Jersey that was started in 1912.

Rutgers University-Livingston Campus is a census-designated place (CDP) covering the residential population of the Livingston Campus of Rutgers University in Middlesex County, New Jersey. It first appeared as a CDP in the 2020 Census with a population of 3,545.

Jersey Mike's Arena, commonly known as the RAC (an initialism for Rutgers Athletic Center, its former official name), is an 8,000-seat multi-purpose arena in Piscataway, New Jersey on Rutgers University's Livingston Campus. The building is shaped like a truncated tent with trapezoidal sides on the north and south ends. It is home to the men's and women's Rutgers Scarlet Knights basketball teams as well as the wrestling and gymnastics teams. Previously, the University used the 3,200-seat College Avenue Gym from 1931 to 1977.

North Stelton is an unincorporated community located within Piscataway Township in Middlesex County, New Jersey, United States.

Rabbi Pesach Raymon Yeshiva is a co-educational Orthodox Jewish day school in Edison, in Middlesex County, New Jersey, United States, that serves students in pre-Kindergarten through eighth grade. Rabbi Pesach Raymon Yeshiva has been accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Secondary Schools since 2001.As of the 2017–18 school year, the school had an enrollment of 229 students (plus 53 in PreK) and 24.1 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 9.5:1. The school's student body was 99.1% (227) White and 0.9% (2) Hispanic.

The BAPS Swaminarayan Mandir in Edison, New Jersey is a Hindu temple built by the BAPS Swaminarayan Sanstha, a Hindu denomination within the Swaminarayan Sampradaya. The first BAPS mandir built in Edison was consecrated by Pramukh Swami Maharaj in August 1996. In 2019, a new mandir was built on the same property and a re-inauguration ceremony was conducted by senior monastic disciples. The central shrine of the mandir houses the sacred images of Bhagwan Swaminarayan and Gunatitanand Swami, also known as Akshar-Purshottam Maharaj.

Timothy Christian is a private Christian school for students in pre-kindergarten through twelfth grade, located in Piscataway in Middlesex County, New Jersey, United States. The campus of Timothy Christian School, founded in 1949, consists of nine buildings, which used to be called Camp Kilmer. The school is an "interdenominational evangelical independent school that is fully accredited by ACSI and Middle States." The school has been accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Elementary and Secondary Schools since 2003 and its current accreditation expires in July 2023.As of the 2019–20 school year, the school had an enrollment of 330 students (plus 19 in PreK) and 34.3 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 9.6:1. The school's student body was 27.3% (90) Black, 26.7% (88) White, 17.3% (57) Hispanic, 14.8% (49) Asian, 7.3% (24) American Indian / Alaska Native and 6.7% (22) two or more races.

Edison is an NJ Transit station located 30.3 miles (48.8 km) southwest of New York City on the Northeast Corridor Line, in Edison, New Jersey. It is at the corner of Central and Plainfield Avenues (County Route 529) in the Stelton neighborhood of Edison which is located in the southwestern corner of the Township, and accessible by car via Reed Street (off Central Avenue). A small privately run convenience store operates in the waiting room of the north/New York City-bound platform. Passengers use a ticket machine as there is no station agent or station office. Elevators and ramps make both the north- and south-bound platforms wheelchair accessible. With the growing population of Edison, ridership has increased over the last 10–15 years, resulting in a shortage of parking spaces on weekdays and heavy traffic during rush hours.

Located in Central New Jersey, Camp Kilmer is a former United States Army camp that was activated in June 1942 as a staging area and part of an installation of the New York Port of Embarkation. The camp was organized as part of the Army Service Forces Transportation Corps. Troops were quartered at Camp Kilmer in preparation for transport to the European Theater of Operations in World War II. Eventually, it became the largest processing center for troops heading overseas and returning from World War II, processing over 2.5 million soldiers. It officially closed in 2009.
