Puerta del Sur ([ˈpweɾta ðel ˈsuɾ], "Gate of the South") is a station on Line 10 and Line 12 of the Madrid Metro. It is located in fare Zone B1. As entering Puerta del Sur is considered to be synonymous with entering Metrosur (Line 12), all passengers who leave Puerta del Sur station must have valid tickets for fare Zone B1, which includes parts of Line 12.

Madrid–Cuatro Vientos Airport (ICAO: LECU), also known as Cuatro Vientos Airport, is the oldest airport in Spain, established in 1911 and one of the three civil airports of Madrid along with Madrid–Barajas and Madrid–Torrejón Airport. The airport is located 8 km (5.0 mi) southwest of the city centre. The name "Cuatro Vientos" translates into English as "Four Winds." Cuatro Vientos was originally an air base, which later became also a civil airport. Thus, there is a military section located on a separate apron of the airport, opposite to the civil one. It is also used as the Madrid base for aircraft of the Spanish Police, as well as for the road traffic surveillance helicopters.

Ensanche Sur de Alcorcón is a new neighbourhood, currently under construction, placed on the South of Alcorcón (Madrid, Spain). It borders on the South with the city of Fuenlabrada and on the South-East with the city of Móstoles. The total area is 1,981,469 m2, including 500,000 m2 for green zones, and around 300,000 m2 for social public purposes. It will have around 6,000 subsidized houses, and around 1,000 houses with public prices for rental. This supposes the 85% of the total number of houses constructed in this place. All the houses have been designed based on bioclimatic architecture criteria.
