Pangyo Techno Valley (PTV) is an industrial complex in the city of Pangyo, Seongnam, Gyeonggi Province, South Korea. It is also known as the Silicon Valley of Korea. The complex focuses on information technology, biotech, cultural technology and fusion technology. One of the benefits of the diversity of fields and businesses is the maximized growth potential in the field of high-tech technology through exchanges between the companies. The location within a major metropolitan area creates synergy effects because of the proximity to other techno valleys or adjacent knowledge-based infrastructure clusters in the province. The business environment of the PTV is supported by the government of the Gyeonggi Province through the implementation of various support facilities as for examples a R&D center or public support center.Techno Valleys in Korea are playing an important role in innovation, creating new jobs and as hubs for technology start-ups. They are supported by the government through policy measures as for example tax-cuts, low interest loans or an expansion of the infrastructure.

Pangyo (Korean: 판교; Hanja: 板橋) or Pangyo New Town is a planned district composed of several dongs or neighborhoods of Seongnam, South Korea. It contains Pangyo-dong, Baekhyeon-dong, Unjung-dong, and Sampyeong-dong of Bundang-gu and Siheung-dong and Sasong-dong of Sujeong-gu (Seongnam city). The area is surrounded by the mountains Cheonggyesan and Geumtosan to the North and Barasan to the south, with Unjungcheon and Geumtocheon, tributaries of Tancheon, flowing through the center of the city. This area is 9,307,000 m2 (2,815,000 pyeong) and can hold up to 80,412 people with 29,350 families. Gyeongbu Expressway separates the town into two unofficial regions: Seopangyo (literally, West Pangyo) and Dongpangyo (literally, East Pangyo).

Pangyo (Pangyo Techno Valley) Station is a station on the Shinbundang Line, serving the planned city of Pangyo in the city of Seongnam. The station is close to Pangyo Techno Valley, one of the country's largest clusters of software, gaming, entertainment and biotechnology businesses, home to major tech companies like Kakao. It began operations on October 28, 2011, with the opening of the Shinbundang Line.In 2016, it became the western terminus of the Gyeonggang Line. Additionally Pangyo is expected to become the southern terminus of Seoul Subway Line 8 sometime around 2023. The station is in close proximity to the Hyundai Department Store Pangyo location, the largest department store in the Seoul Capital Area, which opened in August 2015. There is a light display between Pangyo Station and Cheonggyesan Station for advertisement. A battery of light emitting vertical bars spans 486 meters in the tunnel. In a train that runs at 90 km/h, these light emitting bars create an illusion of animated picture frames. The system is called eTAS, which stands for Ethernet Tunnel Advertisement System.

Tancheon Sports Complex (Korean: 탄천종합운동장) is a group of sports facilities in Seongnam, South Korea. Its name was Seongnam 2 Sports Complex but changed to Tancheon Sports Complex in January 2006, naming after Tancheon. The complex consists of the Tancheon Stadium, Tancheon Baseball Stadium and a Sports Club.

The World Mission Society Church of God is a new religious movement originated in South Korea in 1964. After Ahn Sahng-hong died in 1985, Kim Joo-cheol and Zahng Gil-jah changed the church's name to Witnesses of Ahn Sahng-hong Church of God. Thereafter, the Church expanded its activities to other parts of the world, and began using the name World Mission Society Church of God. Its headquarters as well as its main church are located in the southeast of the Seoul metropolitan area (see end of infobox).The church believes in Christ Ahn Sahng-hong, as well as God the Mother, Zahng Gil-jah, as God. The church also believes it is restoring the truth of the early church.

Pangyo-dong (판교동, 板橋洞) is neighborhood of Bundang district in the city of Seongnam, Gyeonggi Province, South Korea.

Bundang Jesaeng Hospital (Korean: 분당제생병원), also known as Daejin Medical Center, is a general hospital located in Seohyeon-dong, Bundang-gu, Seongnam, South Korea. It is one of the Daejin Medical Centers and was built on 15 January 1995 by Daejin Medical Foundation which is owned by Daesunjinrihoe.

Imae Station is an infill station on the Suin–Bundang Line of the Seoul Subway. There were originally no plans for this station when the Bundang Line opened in 1994. However, due to local resident demand and the significant distance between Yatap and Seohyeon Stations, construction began in March 2000 and the station was opened on January 16, 2004.The station became a transfer station for the Gyeonggang Line when operations commenced on September 24, 2016.

Bundang-gu (Korean: 분당구) is the largest and most populous district (gu) of Seongnam, a major city in the Seoul Capital Area, South Korea. Bundang-gu is one of South Korea's wealthiest and highest developed areas, being the nation's first and largest completely artificial city built in the early 1990s. Many high-rise luxury condos moved in the early 2000s, with a second planned city built in the late 2000s called Pangyo in the same district. Apartment prices are the second highest in Gyeonggi-do after Gwacheon and 7th highest nationwide, higher than many central Seoul districts such as Mapo-gu or Jongno-gu. Apartments around Pangyo station and the high-rise luxury condos around Jeongja station and Sunae station rival prices in the most expensive areas in the country. Unlike older cities such as Seoul, Bundang has no telephone poles overground, resulting in a clean cityscape with well-designed streets. Bundang is the headquarters of Korea's leading IT companies such as Naver and KT. Pangyo's Techno Valley is home to the country's leading game, entertainment and technology companies such as KakaoTalk, Samsung Techwin, AhnLab, Nexon, NCSOFT, Webzen and Hancom. Due to its close proximity to Seoul's affluent commercial center, Gangnam District, many residents also commute to Gangnam station via the Shinbundang Line, which takes only 15 minutes from Jeongja station. The Bundang Line subway connects many of the city's popular commercial areas to southeast Seoul, Yongin and Suwon. The city has a well-developed bus network reaching Seoul's central districts in 30~40 minutes due to being located at an intersection of Gyeongbu Expressway and Seoul Ring Expressway. Bundang is home to many Koreans who lived overseas and the European-styled cafe streets serving brunch and pastas in Pangyo Avenue France, Baekhyeon-dong and Jeongja-dong reflect their culture. The city has a high percentage of parks and greenspace, most notably Bundang Central Park and Yuldong Park, which is built around the Bundang lake. Also, there is a jogging course with the 'Tan-cheon stream'. The Bundang's Seoul National University Hospital is among the largest in South Korea.

Korea Job World (Korean: 한국잡월드) is an indoor career exploration facility in Seongnam, South Korea. It was first proposed in 2004 at a cost of ₩205 billion (US$179.2 million). Although initially met with some controversy, Korea Job World opened in 2012. Korea Job World has career planning testing areas where visitors can examine their skills and interests, as well as job experience areas where they get to experience different careers. By May 7, 2013, Korea Job World had over 1 million visitors, while as of 2023 there were more than 7 million visitors to Korea Job World in total.

Seohyeon Station is a subway station on the Suin–Bundang Line in Gyeonggi-do, South Korea. The line connects to Seoul. The area around this station is popular among young people, with many bars, restaurants, movie theaters, hagwon, offices, etc. AK Plaza (previously Samsung Plaza) and Bundang Jesaeng Hospital are also in this area.

AK Plaza, Bundang, formerly Samsung Plaza (Korean: 삼성플라자), is a shopping mall located in Seohyeon-dong, Bundang, Seongnam, South Korea. The building is 98m or about 3 stories tall.Samsung Corporation opened Samsung Plaza Store No. 1, a multi-functional shopping center. It is also equipped with facilities such as the lobby, playrooms and cafes, plus facilities for the handicapped. Samsung Plaza consists of a department store, specialty stores and cultural, educational and entertainment facilities. Samsung Plaza grew substantially. In 1997, the total sales revenue was 270 billion won. By 2004, it had doubled to 540 billion won. In 2005, Bundang Samsung Plaza ranked 6th in amount of sales in South Korea.In February 2007, Samsung Corporation signed a contract with ARD Holdings, Inc. to sell Samsung Plaza Department Store.The building was renamed to AK Plaza on March 2, 2009.
