Castlebridge (Irish: Droichead an Chaisleáin) is a small town on the R741 regional road in County Wexford, Ireland, around 5 km north of Wexford Town. It is located near the River Slaney and just north of Wexford Harbour. Castlebridge is a rapidly expanding suburb of Wexford Town; its population has almost tripled in 20 years, increasing from 783 in 1996 to a population of 1,840 in 2016.

Curracloe (Irish: Currach Cló, meaning "marsh of the impression") is a village in County Wexford, Ireland. Around 8 kilometres (5 mi) northeast of Wexford town, it is on the R742 road at the junction with the R743 road. It is linked to the long and sandy Curracloe Strand (beach) 4 km (2.5 mi) to the east. Curracloe sees an influx of holiday travellers every summer, who stay in bed & breakfast inns, mobile homes and caravan parks.

The North Slob is an area of mud-flats at the estuary of the River Slaney at Wexford Harbour, Ireland. The North Slob is an area of 10 km2 (2,500 acres) that was reclaimed in the mid-19th century by the building of a sea wall. It is the lowest geographical point on the island of Ireland.2 km2 (490 acres) of this reclaimed land is a nature reserve that is jointly owned and managed by BirdWatch Ireland and the National Parks and Wildlife Service (NPWS) as the Wexford Wildfowl Reserve (Irish: Anaclann Éanlaith Fiáin Loch Garman). The reserve is open to the public.

Ferrybank is a townland near Wexford, in County Wexford, Ireland. Located to the north of Wexford Town, by the mouth of River Slaney and Wexford Harbour, it is linked to the town by Wexford Bridge. Prior to the construction of the first Wexford Bridge in the late 18th century, the townland of Ferrybank South was a landing-point for ferryboats crossing the River Slaney from Wexford Town. In the early 20th century, Ferrybank was the site of a U.S. Naval Air Station Wexford. It operated during World War I from 2 March 1918 until 15 February 1919.

U.S. Naval Air Station Wexford was a seaplane station at Ferrybank, Wexford, Ireland which was operated by the United States Navy (USN) and commissioned on 2 May 1918. Its mission was to operate Curtiss H-16 anti-submarine patrols (ASW) to counter German submarine attacks on shipping in the area east of Queenstown. The Commanding Officer LCDR Victor D. Herbster reported on station on 28 March 1918.

Oylegate or Oilgate (Irish: Bearna na hAille, meaning "the gap in the cliff"), also known previously as Mullinagore (Irish: Maolán na nGabhar, meaning "the grazing of the goats"), is a small village in Ireland, located about halfway between Wexford and Enniscorthy towns, in County Wexford. It had a population of 358 as of the 2016 census.

Wexford Bridge is a road bridge in Wexford, the county town of County Wexford in Ireland. It crosses the mouth of the River Slaney from Wexford town on the west bank to Ferrybank on the east bank. It carries the R741 road from Wexford towards Dublin and the north. The bridge consists of 7 spans of maximum length 63 metres and 12 metres wide, made of continuous steel girders carrying composite concrete slabs. Including the approach roads, the total length of the bridge is 590 metres, of which 380 metres are over water. The current bridge, the third to be built, was originally opened on 10 September 1959 but by the 1990s was suffering from severe corrosion. In 1997, therefore, over a 10-week period, the whole superstructure was broken up, the piers and abutments reconstructed, and the roadway replaced by composite concrete slabs.

Selskar Abbey (Irish: Mainistir Sheilsceire) is a ruined Augustinian abbey in Wexford, Ireland. Founded in the twelfth century, the abbey's full name was the Priory of St Peter and St Paul. The name is derived from Old Norse selr-skar, "seal skerry."

Wexford Arts Centre (Irish: Ionad Ealaíon Loch Garman), formerly known as Wexford Town Hall and before that Wexford Cornmarket, is a former municipal building in John's Gate Street, Wexford, County Wexford, Ireland. The building served as the headquarters of Wexford Borough Council for much of the first half of the 20th century, but now accommodates an arts centre.

The Theatre Royal, was an opera house and performance venue in Wexford Ireland which opened in 1832 and closed in 2005. It was the home of the annual Wexford Festival Opera, and has now been replaced by The National Opera House.
