The Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Changsha (Latin: Ciamsciaven(sis), Chinese: 長沙) is an archdiocese located in the city of Changsha in China.

The Hunan Museum (Chinese: 湖南省博物馆) is the provincial museum of Hunan, China. It was built in 1951 and opened to the public in July 1956. It is located in the provincial capital Changsha at No. 50, Dongfeng Lu next to the Revolutionary Martyr's Park. It spans a total area of about 50,000 square metres (12 acres), with a constructed area of 20,000 square metres (4.9 acres). The museum has a collection of more than 180,000 objects, including items found in the tombs of the Marquis of Dai and his wife, Xin Zhui, in Mawangdui.The museum was closed on 18 June 2012 for renovation and expansion works and reopened on 29 November 2017.

The Beizhengjie Christian Church (Chinese: 北正街基督教堂; pinyin: Beǐzhèngjiē Jīdū Jiàotáng), formerly known as Trinity Church (Chinese: 三一堂; pinyin: Sānyī táng; Wade–Giles: San1-i1 tʽang2), is a neo-Gothic Protestant church located on Huangxing North Road of Changsha, Hunan province, China, formerly belonging to the Episcopal Church of the United States.

Kaifu Temple (simplified Chinese: 开福寺; traditional Chinese: 開福寺; pinyin: Kāifú Sì) is a Buddhist temple located in Kaifu District of Changsha City, Hunan province in the People's Republic of China. It includes Entrance, Hall of the Great Heroes, Assisted dnyana, Dining Room, etc. Kaifu Temple belongs to the Yangqi sect and Linji school of Buddhism. The temple is built within a 16,000 square metres (170,000 sq ft) area of land. For the reason that it was first built earlier than Changsha city, so there is a saying that "there comes first the Kaifu Temple, then the Changsha city".

The National University of Defense Technology (NUDT; 中国人民解放军国防科学技术大学) is a national public research university headquartered in Kaifu, Changsha, Hunan, China. It is affiliated with the Central Military Commission. The university is part of Project 211, Project 985, and the Double First-Class Construction. With the predecessor founded in 1953 as the People's Liberation Army Military Academy of Engineering (中国人民解放军军事工程学院) in Harbin, the institution was officially established in 1978 in Changsha by Deng Xiaoping. NUDT was instrumental in the development of the Tianhe-2 supercomputer. In 2017, the university incorporated five military colleges, which are the PLA College of International Relations, the PLA College of National Defense Information, the PLA Xi'an Telecommunication College, the PLA College of Electronic Engineering, and the PLA Science and Engineering University College of Meteorology and Oceanography.As of 2023, the National University of Defense Technology was listed as one of the top 501-600 universities in the world universities rankings.

The Huachuang International Plaza (Chinese: 华创国际广场) is a mixed-use building complex in Changsha, China. Built between 2013 and 2017, the complex consists of three towers with the tallest (Tower 1) standing at 300 m (980 ft) tall with 66 floors, currently the 5th tallest building in Changsha. All three towers main function is of office buildings, while Tower 1 also shares it with the hotel function.
