Presnensky District

The Moscow International Business Center (MIBC), also known as Moscow-City, is an under-construction commercial development in Moscow, the capital of Russia. The project occupies an area of 60 hectares, and is located just east of the Third Ring Road at the western edge of the Presnensky District in the Central Administrative Okrug. Construction of the MIBC takes place on the Presnenskaya Embankment of the Moskva River, approximately 4 kilometers (2.5 mi) west of Red Square. The complex is home to the highest numbers of skyscrapers in Europe. The Government of Moscow first conceived the project in 1992, as a mixed development of office, residential, retail and entertainment facilities. An estimated 250,000 – 300,000 people will be working in, living in, or visiting the complex at any given time. By 2016, twelve of the twenty-three planned facilities of the MIBC were already built; seven buildings were under construction; and four were in the design stage.

Naberezhnaya Tower (Russian: Башня на Hабережной, tr. Bashnya na Naberezhnoy, literally means Tower on the Embankment) is an office complex composed of two skyscrapers and a high-rise located on plot 10 in the Moscow International Business Center (MIBC) in Moscow, Russia with a total area of 254,000 m2 (2,730,000 sq ft). The buildings are named after the first three letters of the alphabet and from the lowest height to the tallest: the 17-story tall Tower A, the 27-story tall Tower B, and the 59-story tall Tower C. Construction of the complex started in 2003, with Tower A being completed in 2004, Tower B in 2005, and Tower C in 2007.Tower C is the tallest building out of the complex, with a height of 268.4 metres (881 ft) and 59 stories. It is formerly the tallest building in Russia and Europe, surpassing the Triumph Palace, also in Moscow, in August 2007. Tower C was surpassed by its neighboring skyscraper Moscow Tower of the City of Capitals complex as the tallest building in July 2008.

The City of Capitals (Russian: Город Столиц, tr. Gorod Stolits) is a mixed-use complex composed of two skyscrapers and an office building located on plot 9 in the Moscow International Business Center in Moscow, Russia with a total area of 288,680 square metres (3,107,300 sq ft). The two skyscrapers are named after the two historical capitals of Russia: Moscow and Saint Petersburg. Construction of the complex began in 2005, with the office building completed in 2008 and the two skyscrapers completed in 2009.Moscow Tower is the taller of the two skyscrapers, with a height of 301.6 metres (990 ft) and 73 stories, surpassing the Naberezhnaya Tower as the tallest building in Russia and Europe in 2008, until it was surpassed by The Shard in London, United Kingdom in 2012. St. Petersburg Tower has a height of 256.9 metres (843 ft) and 65 stories while the office building serves as a stylobate with a height of 76 metres (249 ft) with 18 floors. As of 2022, Moscow Tower is the eighth-tallest building in Russia and the 21st-tallest residential building in the world.

Delovoy Tsentr (Russian: Деловой Центр) is a station on Bolshaya Koltsevaya line of the Moscow Metro. The station opened on 26 February 2018 as one of five initial stations on the new line.Delovoy Tsentr is the terminus for a spur off the main line that includes Shelepikha Station. A future line, the Rublyovo–Arkhangelskaya line, which the city plans to develop in 2027, will ultimately incorporate these stations.The station is within the Moscow International Business Center and takes its name from the complex.

The IQ-quarter (Russian: IQ-квартал) is a mixed-use complex composed of two skyscrapers and a high-rise located on plot 11 in the Moscow International Business Center (MIBC) in Moscow, Russia with a total area of 201,430 m2 (2,168,174 sq ft). The skyscrapers are named Towers 1 and 2, with the latter being the tallest, and the high-rise just known as the IQ-quarter hotel or Tower 3. Construction of the complex began in 2008 and finished in 2016.The 42-story Tower 2 is the tallest out of the three buildings in the complex, rising up to a height of 177.5 metres (582 ft). It is followed by the 33-story Tower 1, rising up to a height of 141 metres (463 ft). Both buildings serve as offices. The lowest building is the IQ-quarter hotel, or just Tower 3, standing at a height of 83.6 metres (274 ft) and serving as both a hotel and a residential area.

The Federation Tower (Russian: Башня Федерация, romanized: Bashnya Federatsya) is a complex of two skyscrapers built on the 13th lot of the Moscow International Business Center in Moscow, Russia. The two skyscrapers are named Tower East or Vostok (Russian: Восток; literally means "East") and Tower West or Zapad (Russian: Запад; literally means "West"). The supertall skyscraper Tower East (Vostok) is currently the second-tallest skyscraper in Europe and Russia after the Lakhta Center, the tallest building in Moscow, and the 55th-tallest building in the world. Zapad is a shorter skyscraper than Vostok and is the eleventh-tallest building in Russia, and the 22nd-tallest building in Europe. The complex stands on the 13th lot, which has an area of 439,154 square meters. The project was conceived by German-Russian engineer Sergei Tchoban and German professor and engineer Peter Schweger. The complex was designed by architecture companies nps+partner and Schweger Associated Architects. The complex started construction in 2005, with Zapad completed first in 2008 with a height of 242 meters (794 feet). As a result of the Great Recession, construction of the complex stopped until August 2011, and Vostok was completed on 7 December 2017 with a height of 374 meters (1,227 feet). In late 2014, Vostok surpassed the South Tower of OKO, which it is also part of the MIBC, as the tallest skyscraper of Russia and Europe. A spire was to be also built which would have extended the complex's height to 450 meters (1,480 feet) as well as provided an observation deck but it was never completed and was dismantled afterward. The complex is owned by the AEON Corporation, a Russian private international investment group. The complex consists of two towers built on one podium. Tower East is a 97-story structure and Tower West is a 63-story structure.

Eurasia (Russian: Евразия, tr. Yevraziya), also known as Steel Peak (Russian: Стальная Вершина, tr. Stalnaya Vershina), is a 308.9 m (1,013 ft) supertall skyscraper located on plot 12 of the MIBC in Moscow, Russia. The mixed-use skyscraper occupies a total area of 207,542 square metres (2,233,960 sq ft), and houses offices, apartments, a hotel, and a fitness center. It is the sixth-tallest building in Russia, the seventh-tallest building in Europe, and the 72nd-tallest building in the world. Construction of Eurasia started in 2006 and was completed in 2014.

Mezhdunarodnaya (Russian: Междунаро́дная - International) is a northern terminus of one of the 2 branches of the Filyovskaya Line of the Moscow Metro. The station was built as part of the second stage and completed the branch of the Filyovskaya Line into the Moscow International Business Center (Moscow-City). It opened on 30 August 2006. The station, designed by architects A.Orlov and A.Nekrasov, features a deep-level column tri-vault design. However, unlike the standard Moscow sizes, the platform length is shortened from 162 to 118 metres, while the sizes of both the central and platform vaults have also been reduced from the standard 9 to 7.5 metres. As a result, the station has sizes similar to those on the London Underground stations. Also, Mezhdunarodnaya is the only deep-level station that features a curved platform. Decoratively the station has a modern "high-tech" design that blends with the skyscraper landscape of the Moscow-City. The design consists of white marble and plastic panels, a dark granite floor, and metallic interpylon slabs. The vestibule of the station is located under Moscow's internal motorway, the Third Ring. The lobby contains modernized turnstiles.

Delovoy Tsentr (Russian: Деловой центр, lit. 'Business Center') is a station of the Moscow Metro's Kalininsko-Solntsevskaya line that opened on 31 January 2014. The station serves the Moscow International Business Center, after which it was named. The station served as the terminus of the line until its closure. Services initially ran westward to Park Pobedy, but from 2017, the functioning line extended onward to Ramenki. This station closed on 24 February 2018 and reopened on 12 December 2020. While it weas closed, trains on that line bypassed Delovoy Tsentr and run directly to Shelepikha where it continues along the Bolshaya Koltsevaya line.The original route of the Solntsevskaya branch of the line through Delovoy Tsentr reflected the fact that the branch does not have an active rail yard. Trains would shift from Delovoy Tsentr to the Arbatsko-Pokrovskaya line and onward to the Izmailovo yard. As the Bolshaya Koltsevaya line uses the Izmailovo yard, trains operate along the new route to Petrovsky Park and onward to the yard.

OKO (Russian: ОКО, obsolete Russian word for eye, also an abbreviation for Ob'yedinonnyye Kristallom Osnovaniya (Russian: Oбъединённые Кристаллом Oснования, literal meaning Foundations Bound by a Crystal)) is a complex of two skyscrapers located on plot 16 in the Moscow International Business Center (MIBC) in Moscow, Russia. Occupying a total area of about 250,000 square metres (2,700,000 sq ft), the mixed-use complex houses apartments, office space, a 5-star hotel, and other commodities.The two skyscrapers, North Tower and South Tower, are among the tallest skyscrapers in Russia, with the latter being the taller of the two. Rising 354.1 m (1,162 ft), the 85-story South Tower, also known as the OKO Apartment Tower or 16a IBC Tower 1, was the tallest building in Russia and Europe when constructed, until it was surpassed by Federation Tower a few months later. The 49-story North Tower, also known as the OKO Office Tower or 16a IBC Tower 2, is 245 m (804 ft) tall and the 11th tallest building in Russia. The complex also has a large car park, rising 12 stories with a height of 44 m (144 ft).

Imperia Tower, is a complex located on plot 4 of the MIBC in Moscow, Russia. The 287,723 square metres (3,097,020 sq ft) mixed-use complex includes a completed 60-story skyscraper with a height of 239 metres (784 ft) and a 14-story building with a height of 53 metres (174 ft) that is currently under construction. Construction of the skyscraper started from 2001 to 2002, but halted in 2003 until it was resumed in 2006 and was completed in 2011. The 14-story building started construction in 2013 and is planned to be finished by 2018. The 60-story skyscraper of the complex is the fifteenth-tallest building in Russia, and the 24th-tallest building in Europe.

Mercury City Tower (Russian: Меркурий Сити Тауэр, tr. Merkuriy Siti Tauer) is a supertall skyscraper located on plot 14 in the Moscow International Business Center (MIBC), in Moscow, Russia. Occupying a total area of 173,960 square metres (1,872,500 sq ft), the mixed-use building houses offices, apartments, a fitness center, and retail stores.Rising 338.8 m (1,112 ft) tall, the Mercury City Tower was formerly the tallest building of Russia and Europe, having surpassed the Moscow Tower of the neighboring City of Capitals complex (also in the MIBC) as the tallest of Russia and The Shard in London as Europe's tallest building. The Mercury City Tower kept this record from late 2012 to the summer of 2014, in which it was surpassed by the South Tower of the neighboring OKO complex (also on the MIBC) as the tallest building in Russia and Europe. Currently, it is the fifth-tallest building in Europe and it is also the tallest copper-clad building in the world.
