Weiwuying Metropolitan Park

National Kaohsiung Center for the Arts, also known as Weiwuying, (traditional Chinese: 衛武營國家藝術文化中心; simplified Chinese: 卫武营国家艺术文化中心; pinyin: Wèiwǔyíng Guójiā Yìshù Wénhuà Zhōngxīn), is located in Fengshan District, Kaohsiung, Taiwan. It is the largest cultural facility in Taiwan, the world's largest performing art theater under one roof, and the first national-level performing arts venue in southern Taiwan. The planning, preparation, and construction were overseen by the Weiwuying Arts and Culture Center Preparatory Office and, after completion, it became one of the venues under the National Performing Arts Center.The main building was designed by Dutch architect Francine Houben and includes four indoor performance halls, which are as follows: an Opera House with 2,236 seats, a Concert Hall with 1,981 seats, a Playhouse with 1,209 seats, and a Recital Hall with 434 seats. On the south side, there is an outdoor theater that connects to the central lawn of the Metropolitan Park, capable of accommodating 30,000 people for outdoor performances. The Concert Hall is equipped with a pipe organ featuring 9,085 pipes, making it the largest pipe organ in Asia. It was constructed by the Klais Orgelbau in Germany. The facility has been praised by The Guardian as the "biggest arts venue on Earth land in Taiwan."

Weiwuying is a station on the Orange line of the Kaohsiung MRT in Lingya District, Kaohsiung, Taiwan. It will be a future transfer station with the Yellow line.

National Feng-Hsin Senior High School, alias Feng-Hsin Senior High School, abbreviated as FHSH is a high school located in southern Fengshan District, Kaohsiung City, Taiwan, established by the education ministry of Taiwan in order to satisfy the growing need of education in Kaohsiung City owing to soaring number of population in 1992. It has 19 classes for each grades comprising three special classes, namely musical class, art class, and mathematical and science centered class.

The Chungcheng Stadium (Chinese: 中正運動場; pinyin: Zhōngzhèng Yùndòngchǎng), opened in 1986, is a multi-use stadium in Lingya District, Kaohsiung, Taiwan. It is employed to hold several (athletics) events. On 20 October 1996, Michael Jackson made a stop at the stadium for his HIStory World Tour playing to a sell out crowd of 35,000 fans.

The Kaohsiung City Council (Chinese: 高雄市議會; pinyin: Gāoxióng Shì Yìhuì) is the city council of Kaohsiung City, Republic of China. It is currently composed of 65 councilors, each serving a four-year term, elected using the single non-transferable vote system. The speaker and deputy speaker of the council are elected by fellow councilors through a secret ballot. Kaohsiung residents, aged 23 or above and having resided in the city for more than four months, are eligible to cast their votes or run in the municipal election. Along with the New Taipei City Council, the city council is the largest Taiwanese local council in terms of seats.

The Kaohsiung Mosque (Chinese: 高雄清真寺; pinyin: Gāoxióng Qīngzhēnsì) is a mosque in Lingya District, Kaohsiung, Taiwan. It is the second mosque to be built in Taiwan after Taipei Grand Mosque in Taipei.

The Kaohsiung City Lingya Sports Center (Chinese: 高雄市苓雅運動中心; pinyin: Gāoxióng Shì Língyǎ Yùndòng Zhōngxīn), originally the Chung Cheng Martial Arts Stadium (Chinese: 中正技擊館; pinyin: Zhōngzhèng Jìjīguǎn), is a sports center in Lingya District, Kaohsiung, Taiwan. The stadium was one of the venues for the World Games 2009.

The Kaohsiung Japanese School is a Japanese international school on the campus of Kaohsiung Municipal Lingya District Jhong-Jheng Elementary School (高雄市苓雅區中正國民小學) in Lingya District, Kaohsiung, Taiwan in the Republic of China.It was previously located in Sanmin District. The enrollment declined significantly between 1990 and 2010. The final day of class in the former Sanmin campus was on 19 July 2014.

National Fengshan Senior High school, alias Fengshan Senior High School, abbreviated FSSH or FSHS, is a high school with a long history, marked as one of the schools as trials by the education ministry in Taiwan that mixed together both sexes in a class since past few decades from now, located in Fongshan District, Kaohsiung City, Taiwan. Important neighboring infrastructures and institutions to the school are Kaohsiung City Government (Fongshan Administrative Office and formerly Kaohsiung County Government), Taiwanese Presidential Office in southern Taiwan, Fengshan railway station, TRA Jhenyi Chenching Station, Kaohsiung City Bus Main Station, Fongshan West MRT station, Weiwuying MRT station, Kaohsiung Interchange of Freeway 1, Weiwuying Metropolitan Park, National Kaohsiung Center for the Arts, therefore, it is within easy reach and a well-known high school in the Kaohsiung metropolitan area, which enrolls the number of students graduating from junior high schools that can constitute 18 classes per grade in each school year.
