The Dewey Arch was a triumphal arch that stood from 1899 to 1900 at Madison Square in Manhattan, New York. It was erected for a parade in honor of Admiral George Dewey celebrating his victory at the Battle of Manila Bay in the Philippines in 1898.

The Madison Square Fountain, also known as the Southern Fountain, is an ornamental fountain located in Madison Square Park in the Flatiron District of Manhattan, New York. It was the only one of several planned fountains to be realized. The current fountain is a modern reproduction of the original, installed in 1990 and renovated in 2015.

William Henry Seward is an outdoor bronze sculpture of William H. Seward by artist Randolph Rogers, located in Madison Square in Manhattan, New York. Dedicated on September 27, 1876, it believed to be the city's first monument depicting a New York resident. The portrait statue is set on a red Levante marble pedestal.

Madison Square is a public square formed by the intersection of Fifth Avenue and Broadway at 23rd Street in the New York City borough of Manhattan. The square was named for James Madison, fourth President of the United States. The focus of the square is Madison Square Park, a 6.2-acre (2.5-hectare) public park, which is bounded on the east by Madison Avenue (which starts at the park's southeast corner at 23rd Street); on the south by 23rd Street; on the north by 26th Street; and on the west by Fifth Avenue and Broadway as they cross. The park and the square are at the northern (uptown) end of the Flatiron District neighborhood of Manhattan. The neighborhood to the north and west of the park is NoMad ("NOrth of MADison Square Park") and to the north and east is Rose Hill. Madison Square is probably best known around the world for providing the name of Madison Square Garden, a sports arena and its successor which were located just northeast of the park for 47 years, until 1925. The current Madison Square Garden, the fourth such building, is not in the area. Notable buildings around Madison Square include the Flatiron Building, the Toy Center, the New York Life Building, the New York Merchandise Mart, the Appellate Division Courthouse, the Met Life Tower, and One Madison Park, a 50-story condominium tower.

Worth Square, or General Worth Square, is a public square in Manhattan located at East 25th Street between Broadway and Fifth Avenue directly west of Madison Square Park. The square is both a memorial and the burial site of William Jenkins Worth. The only other monument that doubles as a mausoleum is Grants Tomb in Harlem. The 0.27 acre square is one of the many Triangle/Plazas administered by the New York City Department of Parks and Recreation.

The Toy Center, also known as the International Toy Center, is a complex of buildings in the Flatiron District of Manhattan, New York City, that for many years was a hub for toy manufacturers and distributors in the United States. It consists of two buildings located between 23rd Street and 25th Street across from Madison Square, where Fifth Avenue and Broadway cross. The American International Toy Fair, the industry's major annual trade show, is held annually in February at both the Toy Center and the Javits Center on 34th Street.

The Fifth Avenue Hotel was a luxury hotel located at 200 Fifth Avenue in Manhattan, New York City from 1859 to 1908. It had an entire block of frontage between 23rd Street and 24th Street, at the southwest corner of Madison Square.

The General William Jenkins Worth Monument is a granite obelisk by James G. Batterson, installed in Manhattan's Worth Square, in the U.S. state of New York.

Albemarle Hotel (also known as Albemarle House; alternate spelling Albermarle) was located at 1101 Broadway (also addressed as 1 West 24th Street) in the Flatiron District of Manhattan, New York City. Built in 1860 and overlooking Madison Square, it was one of the largest hotels on the avenue in its day.

The 23rd Street station is a local station on the BMT Broadway Line of the New York City Subway. Located at the intersection of 23rd Street, Broadway, and Fifth Avenue in the Flatiron District of Manhattan, it is served by the R train at all times except late nights, the W train on weekdays, the N train during late nights and weekends, and the Q train during late nights.

Admiral David Glasgow Farragut, also known as the Admiral Farragut Monument, is an outdoor bronze statue of David Farragut by Augustus Saint-Gaudens on a stone sculptural exedra designed by the architect Stanford White, installed in Manhattan's Madison Square, in the U.S. state of New York.
