Estadio Parque Artigas Las Piedras is a multi-use stadium in Las Piedras, Uruguay. It is currently used mostly for football matches. It is the home stadium of Juventud de Las Piedras The stadium holds 12,000 people and was built in 2002.

The Israelite Cemetery (Spanish: Cementerio Israelita de La Paz) is the only Jewish cemetery in Uruguay. It was established 28 November 1917. There are sections dedicated to Jews of different origins: Sephardim, Hungarian, German, Ashkenazim, etc.In 2014, QR codes were being implemented for its tombstones, in order to enable web access to images and location data for every tomb there. It is claimed to be the first cemetery in the world to have introduced this innovation.

Los Molinos Observatory (Spanish: Observatorio Astronómico Los Molinos, OALM; obs. code: 844) is an astronomical observatory owned by the Ministerio de Educación y Cultura de Uruguay and operated in collaboration with the University of the Republic's Astronomy Department. It is located near the city of Las Piedras, on the outskirts of Montevideo, Uruguay. The observatory is actively involved in follow-up observations of small bodies in the Solar System such as asteroids and comets. It has the observatory code 844. The main-belt asteroid 10476 Los Molinos, discovered by American astronomer Schelte Bus at the Siding Spring Observatory in 1981, was named after this observatory. The official naming citation was published on 13 April 2017 by the Minor Planet Center (M.P.C. 103975).
