Quo Vadis was a fashionable restaurant in New York City located at 26 East 63rd Street near the corner with Madison Avenue. It operated from 1946 until 1984. W magazine referred to it in 1972, as one of "Les Six, the last bastions of grand luxe dining in New York." The other five named were La Grenouille, La Caravelle, La Côte Basque, Lafayette, and Lutèce; of these, only La Grenouille remains open.

The Colony was a restaurant in New York City known as a meeting place of café society. It was founded in 1919 by Joseph L. Pani, who later sold it to a group of employees. It closed in 1971.

520 Park Avenue is a skyscraper on East 60th Street near Park Avenue on the Upper East Side of Manhattan, New York City. It was designed by Robert A.M. Stern Architects and completed in 2018. The building was funded through a US$450 million construction loan from The Children's Investment Fund. At 781 ft (238 m) tall, it is the 36th tallest building in New York, and the tallest on the Upper East Side.Arthur and William Lie Zeckendorf of Zeckendorf Development developed the building.

Barneys New York Inc. was an American luxury department store brand founded in New York City in 1923. It introduced major luxury brands including Armani, Azzedine Alaïa, Comme des Garçons, Christian Louboutin, and Ermenegildo Zegna to the US market. Barneys New York filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in August 2019 and closed 15 of its 22 stores. Following its sale in November 2019, Authentic Brands Group took control of the Barneys brand name and licensed it to Saks Fifth Avenue. Former employees have filed lawsuits against Authentic Brands Group.

The Grolier Club is a private club and society of bibliophiles in New York City. Founded in January 1884, it is the oldest existing bibliophilic club in North America. The club is named after Jean Grolier de Servières, Viscount d'Aguisy, Treasurer General of France, whose library was famous; his motto, "Io. Grolierii et amicorum" [of or belonging to Jean Grolier and his friends], suggested his generosity in sharing books. The Club's stated objective is "the literary study of the arts pertaining to the production of books, including the occasional publication of books designed to illustrate, promote and encourage these arts; and the acquisition, furnishing and maintenance of a suitable club building for the safekeeping of its property, wherein meetings, lectures and exhibitions shall take place from time to time ..."
