Craigie House

Pioneer Women is a memorial in Atlanta, Georgia, United States. Located in Piedmont Park, the memorial, designed by Steffen Thomas, was dedicated in 1938 by the Atlanta Pioneer Women's Society to honor former members of the group.

The Piedmont Driving Club is a private social club with two club houses in Atlanta, Georgia. Founded in 1887 originally as the Gentlemen's Driving Club, the name reflected the interest of the members to "drive" their horse and carriages on the club grounds. The club later briefly used the adjacent grounds as a golf course until it sold the land to the city in 1904 to create Piedmont Park. The club admitted its first black member in 1994.The club's facilities include golf, tennis, platform tennis, squash, swimming, exercise facilities, massage, casual and fine dining, and event space for larger gatherings. In May 2000, the club built a Rees Jones-designed 18-hole championship golf course and executive par-3 course several miles from the main clubhouse on Camp Creek Parkway. In 2014, the club hosted one of two 2014 US Amateur Qualifier golf tournaments in Georgia. In 2018, it also hosted the Georgia Mid-Amateur Championship.From July 2008 through December 2009, it underwent a renovation to its informal dining and athletic facilities. The squash program was expanded to include two international hardball doubles courts and two international singles courts. The club hosted the annual cross-border, US versus Canada, Lapham Grant competition for the second time in 2012. The club also serves as one of several host venues for the Peachtree Invitational platform tennis tournament.

The Peace Monument (also known as The Triumph of Peace) is a public monument in Atlanta, Georgia, United States. Designed by Allen George Newman, the monument is located in Piedmont Park and was erected in 1911 by members of the Old Guard of the Gate City Guard, a Confederate-era militia, as a show of national unity in the years following the American Civil War. The monument has been the subject of controversy recently, with some calling for its removal as a symbol of the Lost Cause of the Confederacy.

Midtown Atlanta, or Midtown, is a high-density commercial and residential neighborhood of Atlanta, Georgia. The exact geographical extent of the area is ill-defined due to differing definitions used by the city, residents, and local business groups. However, the commercial core of the area is anchored by a series of high-rise office buildings, condominiums, hotels, and high-end retail along Peachtree Street between North Avenue and 17th Street. Midtown, situated between Downtown to the south and Buckhead to the north, is the second-largest business district in Metro Atlanta. In 2011, Midtown had a resident population of 41,681 and a business population of 81,418.Midtown has the highest density of art and cultural institutions in the Southeast, notably including the Fox Theatre, Woodruff Arts Center, the High Museum of Art, the Center for Puppetry Arts, the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, and the Museum of Design Atlanta. Midtown attracts more than 6 million visitors annually, mostly in connection with large annual events such as the Atlanta Dogwood Festival, Atlanta Pride, Music Midtown, and Georgia Tech athletic games. Since the 1990s, Midtown has also been a primary area for high-density development due to the area's mass transit options, urban street grid, and desirability.

The Sidney Lanier Monument is a public monument in Atlanta, Georgia, United States. Located in Piedmont Park, the monument consists of a bust of Sidney Lanier, a notable poet from Georgia. The monument was dedicated in 1914.

Channel Q (stylized as CHANNEL Q) is an LGBT lifestyle talk and EDM top 40 radio network created, owned, and operated by Audacy, Inc. The network airs on the Audacy internet radio service, as well as on Audacy-owned terrestrial radio stations throughout the United States. Channel Q's programming schedule consists of LGBT-centered talk shows, most notably a rebooted version of Loveline, along with Dance/Top 40 music on afternoons, late nights, and weekends.

Colony Square is a mixed-use development and sub-district in Midtown Atlanta, Georgia, located on Peachtree Street in between 14th and 15th Streets. The oldest high-rise development in Midtown, the sub-district was built between 1969 and 1975, with Henri Jova of Jova/Daniels/Busby serving as principal architect. It was the first mixed-use development in the Southeast. Designed in modernist style, Colony Square comprises three skyscrapers, two containing offices (Colony Square 100 and Colony Square 400) and one housing a hotel, the W Hotels Atlanta-Midtown. The three skyscrapers are connected by Colony Square Mall, located beneath a sky-lit atrium and offering a food court, ice skating rink, retail, and an athletic club. The original architectural and social concept of Colony Square was the USA's first 'micropolis' - the complex designed for urban professionals to live and work in a common space. Also within the sub-district are three mid-rise condominium buildings (two comprise Colony House and the third, Hanover House). Colony Square also contains street-level restaurants, including 5Church Atlanta, Establishment, Chick-fil-A, Starbucks, and Sukoshi.North American Properties agreed to terms with Tishman Speyer to purchase the property for $164.5 million in Q4 2015. The deal will include the retail and office space, but not the condominiums and hotel that are part of the complex. North American Properties has major renovation plans for the retail component. The new owner demolished the former mall to create an open green space with a stage surrounded by new shops and a new office building anchored by Whole Foods Market Inc. A second new office building anchored by Jones Day is also being constructed. Upon completion of the redevelopment project, Colony Square will feature 912,000 square feet of office space and 160,000 square feet of shops and entertainment space, including a food hall and IPIC movie theater.

The Atlanta Botanical Garden is a 30 acres (12 ha) botanical garden located adjacent to Piedmont Park in Midtown Atlanta, Georgia, United States. Incorporated in 1976, the garden's mission is to "develop and maintain plant collections for the purposes of display, education, conservation, research and enjoyment."

The Piedmont Park Apartments (known today as Wilburn House condominiums) in Midtown Atlanta, Georgia was built in 1911 and was designed by Leila Ross Wilburn, Georgia's first female architect. The building is listed on the National Register of Historic Places, and is also designated as a historic building by the City of Atlanta.

The Wimbish House is a historic building in Atlanta, Georgia, United States, built in 1922. It is owned and operated by The Atlanta Woman's Club. It was designed by architect Walter T. Downing and is also a work of P. Thornton Mayre. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1979 as "Atlanta Women's Club Complex". The complex is listed as being in three parts: the Clubhouse, Banquet Hall and the Auditorium. It has also been known as Peachtree Playhouse and as Community Playhouse.

Music Midtown is a large music festival held in Atlanta, Georgia, annually from 1994 to 2005, after which it returned in 2011 following a six-year hiatus. The festival ran consecutively from 2011-2019 with a cancellation in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The festival returned briefly in 2021, before a cancellation in 2022. In May 2023, it was announced that Music Midtown would return. The festival runs for one weekend each year, typically in September. The event drew in excess of 300,000 attendees per year during its peak years. The festival began as a two-day event with three stages, and later grew to a three-day event with six main stages. Each of these stages were typically sponsored by a local Atlanta radio station and were used to present dozens of bands playing a wide variety of musical genres. Due to a decline in attendance and rising expenses after the 2005 festival, promoters placed the festival on hiatus in 2006. In 2011, the festival returned as a one-day event, and expanded to a two-day format the following year. On August 1, 2022 the festival was cancelled due to Georgia gun laws preventing organizers from banning firearms at the event, which was held in a public park. Upon the return of the festival in 2023, it was announced the event would now take place over 3-days and occurred from September 15–17, 2023.
