Tramore (; Irish: Trá Mhór, meaning 'big beach') is a seaside town in County Waterford, on the southeast coast of [Ireland]].

Tramore Eco Group (Irish: Grúpa Éice Trá Mhór) is a voluntary environmental protection group based in Tramore, County Waterford, Ireland, devoted to the conservation and protection of Tramore's ecological environment and wildlife habitats.

Tramore GAA is a Gaelic Athletic Association club located in Tramore County Waterford, Ireland, with teams in both Gaelic Football and Hurling. Tramore is one of the oldest GAA clubs in County Waterford, having been founded in 1885.

Tramore Racecourse is a horse racing venue in Tramore, County Waterford, Ireland which stages both National Hunt and Flat racing. The course is a Grade Two racecourse and is noted for its right-handed track on a 7 furlong (1400m) circuit.Racing in Tramore originally took place on the beach in 1785 and was held there until 1911. Racing in the existing location has taken place since 1912. In 1997, a consortium bought the racecourse and invested five million euros in upgrading the facilities.

Tramore Lifeboat Station is located on The Cove, near The Pier at Newtown, a suburb of Tramore, a seaside town in County Waterford, approximately 14 kilometres (8.7 mi) south of Waterford, on the south coast of Ireland. A lifeboat station was first established at Tramore in 1858 by the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI). The station currently operates the D-class (IB1) Inshore lifeboat, Isabella Purchase (D-781), on station since 2015.

Kilbride (Gaelic: Cill Bhride) is a townland within the parish of Tramore in County Waterford, Ireland. Kilbride is located about 3 miles (4.8 km) from Tramore town and 4 miles (6.4 km) from Waterford. It is split into two sections: Kilbride North and Kilbride South. Kilbride got its name from an old church in Kilbride South (52°11′24″N 7°09′51″W.) that was named after St Brigid, possibly Brigit of Kildare, daughter of Dubhtach, whose feast day was 1 February, but associated with her contemporary St Briga, daughter of Congall, whose feast day is 21 January and who is also associated with Oughter Ard Ardclough Straffan County Kildare (53°16′40″N 6°33′55″W), and Brideschurch near Sallins (53°14′36″N 6°41′28″W.). Neighbouring townlands include Monmahouge, Cullencastle, Butlerstown, Knockeen, and Carriglong.Attractions include an annual Halloween bonfire, the Dolmen located in Knockeen, and the fairy rings in Carriglong.

The wrecking of the Sea Horse, Boadicea and Lord Melville took place during a gale off the east coast of Ireland on 30 January 1816. These ships were initially travelling together carrying soldiers and their families to Cork at the end of the Napoleonic War, and were wrecked with heavy loss of life.

Shortly after midnight on 02 July 1999, a Eurocopter Dauphin search and rescue helicopter operated by the Irish Air Corps crashed into the sand dunes behind Tramore beach in Co. Waterford while returning from a mission. All four crew aboard were killed. The helicopter had attempted to land at its base in nearby Waterford Airport, but was unable to due to heavy fog.

Waterford Airport (Irish: Aerfort Phort Láirge) (IATA: WAT, ICAO: EIWF) is located in Killowen, 4 NM (7.4 km; 4.6 mi) southeast of Waterford. It serves southeastern Ireland. The airport is operated by Waterford Regional Airport plc. Its single scheduled route, operated by VLM Airlines—which used Waterford as its only Irish airport and kept a base there—was discontinued from 13 June 2016 as VLM went out of business, leaving the airport without any scheduled traffic. On 11 June 2019, the Irish government approved a grant of €5 million together with €7 million from local investors and councils. Included in this, is the extension and widening of the existing runway to 2280 metres x 45 metres wide (bigger than the runway at Cork Airport) along with taxiway widening and terminal extension to cater for larger airlines such as Ryanair and Aer Lingus. It is hoped that this extension will boost tourism revenue for the county of Waterford in the long run. On 4 February 2022, planning permission was granted by An Bord Pleanála for the runway extension and associated works. Construction was set to be completed by the end of 2022.

Fenor GAA is a Gaelic Athletic Association club based in the small east Waterford, Ireland village of Fenor. The club enters teams in both Gaelic football and hurling each year, both of which compete in their respective junior championships. Fenor's greatest achievement was winning the Waterford Senior Football Championship in 1932. Fenor also collected countless junior hurling titles in 1990s and 2000s (decade) but they never gained promotion to intermediate status.

Fenor Bog is a regenerated alkaline fen and national nature reserve of approximately 32 acres (0.13 km2) in County Waterford. It is the county's first national nature reserve and the only extant alkaline fen in the southeast of Ireland.
