G. Krug & Son Ironworks is a historic iron works located at Baltimore, Maryland, United States. It is a complex consisting of a two-story tall gable-roofed building dating from the first quarter of the 19th century, which houses the earliest shop; a four-story tall Victorian building which houses a business office on the first floor and storage rooms on the upper floors; and a three-story tall shed-roofed addition dating from 1870 to 1880. It is in its fifth generation as a family business.G. Krug & Son began in 1810 and is recognized as the oldest continuously operating blacksmith shop in the United States. The works is responsible for iron grills, railings, and other architectural elements that may be seen on buildings throughout Baltimore and at the Ginter House in Richmond, Virginia. G. Krug & Son was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.

Market Center is a national historic district in Baltimore, Maryland, United States. It is an approximately 24-block area in downtown Baltimore that includes buildings associated with the development of the area as Baltimore's historic retail district. The area evolved from an early 19th-century neighborhood of urban rowhouses to a premiere shopping district featuring large department stores, grand theaters, and major chain stores. The diverse size, style, scale, and types of structures within the district reflect its residential origins and evolution as a downtown retail center.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2000.

Baltimore Equitable Insurance also known as the Baltimore Equitable Society, until 2003 was located at the original headquarters of the Eutaw Savings Bank, is a historic bank building located at Baltimore, Maryland, United States. Originally built as the headquarters for the Eutaw Savings Bank, it is a two-story building with brownstone front and brick sides. It was constructed in 1857 in the Italian Renaissance style. The Eutaw Savings Bank moved across the street in 1887 to what is now the Baltimore Grand and the building was acquired by the Baltimore Equitable Society in 1889. Founded in 1794, the Baltimore Equitable Society is one of the oldest corporations in the city and the third-oldest fire insurance company in the United States.The building that housed Baltimore Equitable Insurance was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1977. In 2003, due to the age and state of disrepair of the building, Baltimore Equitable Insurance left the building. As of 2023, the building will become the M&T Pavilion, an entertainment space.

The Sanitary Laundry Company Building is a historic building located at Baltimore, Maryland, United States. It is a five-bay wide, five-story brick loft building constructed in 1883. The façade features a cast-iron storefront at street level and the elaborate decorative brickwork and terra cotta ornamentation on the upper floors reflect the influence of the Queen Anne style. It was built originally as a slaughterhouse and meat packing plant until 1897, when it was converted to a commercial laundry.The Sanitary Laundry Company Building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1994.

The Old Baltimore College of Dental Surgery is an historic commercial building on North Eutaw Street in Baltimore, Maryland. The three story brick building was built in 1881, and served as the fifth location of the Baltimore College of Dental Surgery, the nation's first dental school. It is one of two surviving 19th century addresses of the school, which was founded in 1839. The building's first floor, which was always used for commercial and retail purposes, has seen some remodeling, but the upper floors, used by the school, have retained a great deal of historic integrity.The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1987.

The Hutzler Brothers Palace Building is a historic flagship department store building located at Baltimore, Maryland, United States and built by Hutzler's. It was constructed in 1888, with a south bay added in 1924. The original limestone Romanesque eclectic façade is three bays wide and five stories in height. The ground floor façade was redesigned in 1931 in the Art Moderne style. Hutzler's is believed to hold the record for longevity in an original location among American department stores, having been founded on this site in 1858. Hutzler Brothers Palace Building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1984.

Paca Street Firehouse, also known as Truck House No. 2, is a historic fire station located at Baltimore, Maryland, United States. The architect of Paca Street Firehouse is John E. Lafferty. It is a 1909 two-story brick structure with a highly detailed stone Renaissance Revival façade. The principal space is a large room subdivided at the Paca Street end into offices. It is one of three early 20th century firehouses standing and is the only one to retain its original features, particularly in the interior.Paca Street Firehouse was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.

Hotel Kernan, also known as the Congress Hotel, is a historic hotel located at Baltimore, Maryland, United States. It is a six-story plus mansard roof, French Renaissance Revival-style structure detailed in brick and terra cotta. It is constructed of steel and reinforced concrete and is "U"-shaped in plan. It was designed in 1903 by Philadelphia architect John Allen for theatrical impresario James Lawrence Kernan (1838-1912), who lived at the hotel until his death in 1912.Hotel Kernan was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1999.
