Limestone Correctional Facility

Alabama's 5th congressional district is a U.S. congressional district in Alabama, which elects a representative to the United States House of Representatives. It encompasses the counties of Lauderdale, Limestone, Madison, Morgan and most of Jackson. It is currently represented by Republican Dale Strong, a former Madison County Commissioner. Strong was first elected in 2022 following the retirement of Republican incumbent Mo Brooks.

French Mill is an unincorporated community located in Limestone County. It is halfway between the cities of Madison and Athens. French Mill is within the Huntsville Metropolitan Area, and is considered an exurb of the city despite Huntsville being located just south of the community.

Capshaw Mountain is a mountain located in Harvest, Alabama. Capshaw Mountain forms a watershed that provides the water supply for the community. It extends upwards about 800 feet above the general elevation in the area. It is not part of the Cumberland Plateau.

Ford's Chapel United Methodist Church, or simply Ford's Chapel UMC, is a United Methodist church located in Harvest, Alabama, in the United States. It was founded in 1808 and is the first Methodist Church established in what is now the state of Alabama.

Oakland is an unincorporated community in Limestone County, Alabama, United States. It is in the eastern part of the county near Madison at the intersection of Huntsville Brownsferry Road (formerly known as County Road 24) and County Road 119, as opposed to Oakland, Limestone County, Alabama which is just west of Athens. Oakland is named after the Oakland Spring, and the Oakland Spring Branch which is west of the community. The area is likely soon to be acquired into Madison city's outer borders or that of the Huntsville borders in Limestone county. The community is made up of about 18 buildings, of which 3 are churches and the rest are houses.

Rainbow is an unincorporated community in Madison County, Alabama, United States.

Sparkman High School is a public high school in Harvest, Alabama, United States in the Madison County Schools district. The school was named after senator and former vice presidential nominee John Jackson Sparkman. Sparkman is one of the largest high schools in northern Alabama and serves students in grades 10-12. The school's mascot is a Senator. The school has an enrollment of around 2,400 students. Sparkman High's main rivals are Bob Jones High School and James Clemens High School. In 2006, the Sparkman Ninth Grade School was built next to the high school.

Monrovia, also known as Vaughn Corners or Thompson Mill, is an unincorporated community in Madison County, Alabama, United States. It is bordered on the south by the city of Madison, on the southeast by the city of Huntsville, on the west by Limestone County and on the north by the community of Harvest.

James Clemens High School is a public high school in Madison, Alabama, United States. The school is a part of Madison City Schools. The school is named after James Clemens, the founder of Madison, Alabama. James Clemens was the second high school to be built in Madison, a necessary endeavor to serve the rapid growth of the community. The city was rezoned for two high schools with Liberty Middle School feeding into James Clemens. It is the 4th largest high school in Alabama by enrolled students, only Thompson, Baker, and Hoover High Schools have more enrolled students.

Rainbow Mountain is a mountain in Madison county, Alabama. The mountain's name is derived from the name of Elisha Rainboll, who settled on the mountain around the year 1810.

WHMZ-LP (95.5 FM) was a licensed low-power radio station in Madison, Alabama. The station was owned by Madison County Citizens for Better Government.The station was granted a construction permit on February 20, 2014; the WHMZ-LP call sign was issued on March 20, 2014. WHMZ-LP filed for a license to cover the permit on July 6, 2015, and was granted it on July 13.WHMZ-LP's license was cancelled by the Federal Communications Commission on April 2, 2020, due to the station failing to file an application for license renewal by April 1.

Bob Jones High School is a public high school in Madison, Alabama, United States. The school is a part of Madison City Schools. Despite its name, it is not affiliated with Bob Jones University of Greenville, South Carolina; rather, it is named after Robert E. Jones, Jr., who served the area in the United States House of Representatives from 1947 until 1977. In 2007, Bob Jones High School was ranked by Newsweek in the top 5% of American High Schools. The school was ranked 1044 among the top 1200 high schools in the nation based on the number of Advanced Placement, Cambridge tests, and/or International Baccalaureate tests taken by all students at a school and then dividing by the number of graduating seniors. These students are nationally known for their scholastic aptitude, with eleven students having been selected as Presidential Scholars Program candidates in the last three years alone.
