33rd Street is a terminal station on the PATH system. Located at the intersection of 32nd Street and Sixth Avenue (Avenue of the Americas) in the Herald Square neighborhood of Midtown Manhattan, New York City, it is served by the Hoboken–33rd Street and Journal Square–33rd Street lines on weekdays, and by the Journal Square–33rd Street (via Hoboken) line on late nights, weekends and holidays. 33rd Street serves as the northern terminus of all three lines.

The Hotel McAlpin is a historic hotel building on Herald Square, at the corner of Broadway and 34th Street in Manhattan, New York City. It currently operates as an apartment building known as Herald Towers.

The 34th Street–Herald Square station is an underground station complex on the BMT Broadway Line and the IND Sixth Avenue Line of the New York City Subway, and is the third-busiest station in the system with 39,672,507 passengers entering the station in 2017. It is located at Herald Square in Midtown Manhattan where 34th Street, Broadway and Sixth Avenue (Avenue of the Americas) intersect, and is served by the: D, F, N, and Q trains at all times R train at all times except late nights B, M, and W trains on weekdays train during rush hours in the peak direction

33rd Street was a station on the demolished IRT Sixth Avenue Line in Manhattan, New York City. It had two tracks and two side platforms. It was served by trains from the IRT Sixth Avenue Line. This station opened on June 5, 1878, and closed on December 4, 1938. The next southbound stop was 28th Street. The next northbound stop was 38th Street. The station was eventually replaced by the 34th Street–Herald Square Subway station complex one block north.

Horace Greeley, also known as the Greeley Memorial, is an outdoor bronze sculpture of Horace Greeley by Alexander Doyle, located in Greeley Square Park in Manhattan, New York. The statue, cast in 1892 and dedicated on May 30, 1894, sits atop a Quincy granite pedestal. It contains the following inscription:

The Martinique New York on Broadway, Curio Collection by Hilton is a historic hotel at 53 West 32nd Street (also known as 1260-1266 Broadway) in Manhattan, New York City. Built by William R. H. Martin in a French Renaissance style. The hotel belongs to the Historic Hotels of America. It was the setting for Jonathan Kozol's study, Rachel and Her Children: Homeless Families in America (1988).

The Manhattan Theatre was located at 102 West 33rd Street in Midtown Manhattan, New York City, directly across from Greeley Square at Sixth Avenue and 33rd Street. The 1,100-seat theatre opened in 1875 as the Eagle Theatre, and was renamed the Standard Theatre in 1878. All but destroyed by a fire in 1883, it was rebuilt in a more modern style and re-opened in December 1884. In 1898, the Standard was refurbished by architect Howard Constable and renamed the Manhattan Theatre. The theatre was demolished in 1909 for the construction of a Gimbels department store.

Hotel Pierrepont was an establishment located at 43 West 32nd Street between Broadway and Fifth Avenue in Manhattan, New York City. Completed in 1906, the building was twelve stories tall, made of fireproof brick and stone. It had a cellar and a subcellar. It had one hundred seventy rooms, with single rooms and suites, and ninety bathrooms. The edifice measured fifty-nine feet by ninety-eight and nine tenths feet. It was located adjacent to the Rogers Peet building. Hotel Pierrepont is important to the history of Manhattan in the early 20th century. It is memorable for its prime location. Hotel Pierrepont was sold at an auction on May 19, 1910, by Joseph P. Dav. There was another Hotel Pierrepont in New York City. It was located at 55 Pierrepont Street in Brooklyn, and was still standing in the 1930s. The hotel is now Pierrepont House, a senior residence of Catholic Charities.

Herald Square is a major commercial intersection in the Midtown Manhattan neighborhood of New York City, formed by the intersection of Broadway, Sixth Avenue (officially Avenue of the Americas), and 34th Street. Named for the now-defunct New York Herald, a newspaper formerly headquartered there, it also gives its name to the surrounding area. The bow tie-shaped intersection consists of two named sections: Herald Square to the north (uptown) and Greeley Square to the south (downtown).

Manhattan Mall is an inactive indoor shopping mall at 33rd Street and Sixth Avenue in Midtown Manhattan, New York City. There are entrances to the New York City Subway's 34th Street–Herald Square station and the PATH's 33rd Street station on the second basement level. The mall replaced the former flagship store of the Gimbels department store chain, which operated from 1910 to 1986. It opened in 1989 as a shopping center called A&S Plaza and was rebranded Manhattan Mall in 1995. Stern's department store occupied the anchor store space from 1995–2001. The upper floors were converted into office space in the 2000s decade, with the mall focusing on the first, second, and two basement levels instead. JCPenney operated the large anchor store from 2007 to 2020. The coronavirus pandemic hit the mall hard in 2020, with the remaining stores departing and the location relegated to being a dead mall. As of mid 2022, the mall area functions primarily as an expanded lobby for the offices of 100 w33rd st, allowing office tenants direct access from sixth ave as well as the local subway station. The EXPRESS store has been replaced with Aeropostale, but the southern end of the Manhattan Mall is still WIP.

The Savoy Theatre was a Broadway theatre that opened in 1900 (for its first few months as Schley Music Hall). It converted to a cinema around 1910, until it was closed in early 1952 and then demolished.
