Friedrichsruh (German pronunciation: [fʁiːdʁɪçsˈʁuː] (listen)) is a district in the municipality of Aumühle, Herzogtum Lauenburg district, Schleswig-Holstein, in northern Germany. Friedrichsruh manor is known as a residence of the princely House of Bismarck, mainly of Chancellor Otto von Bismarck from 1871 onwards.

Friedrichsruh station is a railway station on the Berlin–Hamburg Railway in the district of Friedrichsruh in the municipality of Aumühle in the German state of Schleswig-Holstein. It is classified by Deutsche Bahn as a category 7 station.The Grade II listed station building, built in the mid-19th century, is one of the oldest surviving station building in Schleswig-Holstein and the only one on the line in the state that dates from the construction of the line. Since 2000, it has been the location of the Otto von Bismarck Foundation.

Aumühle (German: [aʊˈmyːlə] (listen)) is a municipality in Schleswig-Holstein in northern Germany, about 21 km (14 mi) east of Hamburg. Its Friedrichsruh district is home to the family estate and mausoleum of Otto von Bismarck.

Aumühle is a station on the Berlin-Hamburg railway line, just outside the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg. Aumühle is served by the rapid transit trains of Hamburg S-Bahn line S21, for which it is also the eastern terminus station. The station was opened in 1884 and is located in Aumühle, a municipality in the German state of Schleswig-Holstein.

The Sachsenwald (German pronunciation: [ˈzaksn̩valt] (listen)) is a forest near Hamburg, Germany. It is an unincorporated area in the amt Hohe Elbgeest. It derives its name (which means 'Saxon woods' in English) from being located in the former Duchy of Saxe-Lauenburg, earlier also called Lower Saxony, now mostly covered by the Herzogtum Lauenburg (Duchy of Lauenburg) district. The Sachsenwald has an area of 68 km2. It was given to Otto von Bismarck in 1871 for his achievements for Germany. Today the managed forest area amounts to about 6,000 hectares, of which 4,500 still belong to the House of Bismarck, residing at Friedrichsruh. From 1989, Ferdinand von Bismarck sold 2,250 hectares to the shipowner Eberhart von Rantzau, owner of the Deutsche Afrika-Linien.

Hohe Elbgeest is an Amt ("common administration for several smaller municipalities") in the district of Lauenburg, in Schleswig-Holstein, Germany. It is situated approximately 7 km north of Geesthacht, and 27 km east of Hamburg. Its seat is in Dassendorf. In 2008, the Amt of Aumühle-Wohltorf was disbanded and its municipalities (Aumühle, Wohltorf, and the unincorporated area of Sachsenwald) were folded into Hohe Elbgeest.

Kuddewörde (old Saxon: Kuthenworden) is a municipality in the district of Lauenburg, in Schleswig-Holstein, Germany. It is situated at the river Bille. In 1230 Kuddewörde is mentioned in the records of the bishop of Ratzeburg. Today Kuddewörde is composed of the former municipalities of Kuddewörde and Rotenbek (former Rothenbek), which was integrated into the municipality of Kuddewörde in 1936.
