Termal

Termal District is a district of the Yalova Province of Turkey. Its seat is the town of Termal. Its area is 67 km2, and its population is 6,977 (2022).

Yalova is an electoral district of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey. It elects 3 members of parliament (deputies) to represent the province of the same name for a four-year term by the D'Hondt method, a party-list proportional representation system.

Harmankaya Nature Park (Turkish: Harmankaya Tabiat Parkı) is a nature park located in Termal district of Yalova Province, northwestern Turkey.Harmanlı Nature Park is located 18 km (11 mi) to Yalova, 6 km (3.7 mi) to Termal and 5 km (3.1 mi) to Üvezpınar village, and situated south of Termal district on the road between Üvezpınar and Sudüşen Waterfall close to the provincial border to Bursa. The area covering 1 ha (2.5 acres), which formerly had a registered recreational area status, was declared a nature park by the Ministry of Environment and Forest on July 11, 2011.

Yalova Province (Turkish: Yalova ili) is a province in northwestern Turkey, on the eastern coast of the Sea of Marmara. Its adjacent provinces are Bursa to the south and Kocaeli to the east. Its area is 798 km2 (making it the smallest province of Turkey), and its population is 296,333 (2022). Prior to 1930, the area around Yalova constituted a district of Kocaeli Province; from 1930 to 1995, it was part of Istanbul Province; in 1995, the area was separated and made into the current Yalova Province. The provincial capital is the city of Yalova.

Koru (former Kuri) is a town (belde) in the Çınarcık District, Yalova Province, Turkey. Its population is 7,841 (2022). Up to 20th century the population was composed of Greeks. It is between Çınarcık to west and Yalova to east, all coastal places on the Anatolian side of Marmara Sea. Distance to Çınarcık is 5 kilometres (3.1 mi) and to Yalova is 9 kilometres (5.6 mi).

Pytheion (Ancient Greek: Πύθειον), also called Pythia Therma, was a town of ancient Bithynia. Its site is located near Yalova Kap, Asiatic Turkey.

Karaca Arboretum is a private arboretum located in Yalova, Turkey. Opened in 1980, it was named after its owner Turkish businessman Hayrettin Karaca. It covers area of 13.5 ha (33 acres).

Kadıköy is a town (belde) in the Yalova District, Yalova Province, Turkey. Its population is 9,543 (2022). It is 7 kilometres (4.3 mi) south west of Yalova and at the midpoint of Armutlu Peninsula. The settlement was founded by an Ottoman kadı ("judge") . Hence it was named as Kadıköy ("Judge's village"). During Ottoman Empire most of the population was composed of Greeks. But according to Population exchange between Greece and Turkey agreement the Greek population was replaced by Turkish population from Greece. Refugees from Caucasus after the Russo-Turkish War (1877-1878) were also settled in the village. The village was declared a seat of township in 1991. Intensive farming such as green house farming and floriculture is the main economic activity of the town.

Çınarcık District is a district of the Yalova Province of Turkey. Its seat is the town of Çınarcık. Its area is 178 km2, and its population is 38,600 (2022).

Çınarcık is a town in Yalova Province in the Marmara region of Turkey. It is the seat of Çınarcık District. Its population is 20,454 (2022).Çınarcık has a permanent population of about 20,000 but its location near Istanbul has made it a popular location for summer homes. On hot weekends during the summer, the population can swell to 300,000 and construction of new summer homes in the town is fast-paced. Çınarcık is located on a small strip of flat land on the coast with mountains rising sharply in back of it.

University of Yalova (Turkish: Yalova Üniversitesi) is a university in Turkey's Yalova Province. University of Yalova (UYA) has been founded under the Law no 5765 on May 22, 2008, and Prof. Dr. M. Niyazi Eruslu has been appointed as the first rector. The Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences and Vocational School of Higher Education of Yalova that had already been established and functioning as a constituent of Uludag University became a part of the recently founded university following the enactment of the law. The Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences of the university provides education at the undergraduate and provides postgraduate levels for students from foreign countries and from Turkey. The faculty offers academic programs that strive to teach administrative, entrepreneurial, and economical skills. It encourages providing, compiling, and publishing new sources of information in the field of economics and administrative sciences. Also the faculty contributes the business world through programs that aim at mastering efficiency and productivity. Newer departments include business administration (English), international relations (English), social service and labor economics - industrial relations have already been established. The Faculty of Law has also been founded and attempts to open new departments have been initiated. The faculty of engineering aims not only to impart contemporary engineering and scientific knowledge in the disciplines concerned, but also to inculcate creativity, research techniques, and self development. The undergraduate curriculum provides a firm background in the basic sciences through courses in computer science, chemistry, energy systems and polymer fields. In addition to faculties, Yalova University has a vocational school of higher education. The school of foreign languages aims to improve the students' language skills before they start their English-medium instruction. The school of foreign languages has a modular system in accordance with Common European Framework of Reference. Despite being a new built university, national and international conferences, symposiums were Ottoman Empire's Establishment Date Symposium organized by Yalova - Bilkent Universities and International VII.
