Sankt Hans Torv (lit. "St. John's Marketplace") is a public square in the heart of the Nørrebro district of Copenhagen, Denmark. It is dominated by a large granite sculpture by Jørgen Haugen Sørensen and is known for its thriving café scene. St. John's Church, the largest and oldest church in Nørrebro, is situated just east of the square. Located close to the major shopping street Nørrebrogade and The Lakes, the square is a major junction in the area where the streets Blegdamsvej, Nørre Allé, Guldbergsgade, Elmegade, Fælledvej and Sankt Hans Gade meet.

Fælledvej (lit. "Common Road") is a street in the Nørrebro district of Copenhagen, Denmark. It links the major shopping street Nørrebrogade in the west with the square Sankt Hans Torv in the east.

Mellemfolkeligt Samvirke (MS Danish Association for International Co-operation) is a Danish, politically independent humanitarian non-governmental organisation that struggles for a fairer world. The organisation works for increased understanding and solidarity between the peoples of the world, as well as promoting global development based on the sustainable use and just distribution of wealth and resources. MS started as Fredsvenners Hjælpearbejde in 1944. In 1946 the organisation changed its name to Mellemfolkeligt Samvirke, and in 1974 it adopted open membership. Currently, MS has more than 23.000 individual members, as well as approximately 100 member-organisations. Mellemfolkeligt Samvirke cooperates with more than 100 local partners in Latin America, Eastern Africa and Nepal, and maintains local offices in many of the countries (e.g. MS Tanzania, MS Nepal, etc.). Via its volunteer programme Global Contact, it sends more than 500 volunteers abroad annually, to support local development work. In 1994 association with the Irish Kimmage Development Studies Centre, the MS Training Centre for Development Cooperation(MS-TCDC) began running of a Certificate in Community Development course, in Arusha, Tanzania. In 2001 as part of the partnership with, Kimmage DSC a Diploma in Development Studies was offered, which in 2004 became the Level 7 BA Degree in Development Studies, which is validated by the Irish governments Higher Education and Training Awards Council(HETAC). The course is recognised by the Tanzanian governments National Council for Technical Education(NACTE).In recent years, Mellemfolkeligt Samvirke has strengthened its public profile by arranging public debates, festivals and an annual door-to-door collection of contributions.

Blegdamsvej Prison (Danish: Blegdamsvejens Fængsel) is a prison operated by Københavns Fængsler on Blegdamsvej in the Nørrebro district of Copenhagen, Denmark. Established in 1848, it is the oldest prison building still in use in Denmark.

The Nørrebros Teater is a theater in Copenhagen, Denmark. Notable actors who have starred at the theatre before entering film include Osvald Helmuth, Buster Larsen, Poul Reichhardt and Poul Bundgaard. It is now operated as a part of the Københavns Teater in affiliation with the Betty Nansen Teatret, Folketeatret and Østre Gasværk Teater.

Ravnsborggade (lit. "Ravnsborg Street") is a street located one block west of The Lakes in the Nørrebro district of Copenhagen, Denmark. It runs from the major shopping street Nørrebrogade in the southwest to Sankt Hansgade in the northeast where it turns into Ryesgade. The street is traditionally known for its many antique shops but they have increasingly been supplanted by cafés and restaurants in the 2010s. The street is the site of a flea market in the summer months.

Nørrebro (Danish pronunciation: [ˈnɶɐ̯ɐˌpʁoˀ], NUH-rah-pro) is one of the 10 official districts of Copenhagen, Denmark. It is northwest of the city centre, beyond the location of the old Northern Gate (Nørreport), which, until dismantled in 1856, was near the current Nørreport station.

St. John's Church (Danish: St. Johannes Kirke) is a church located next to Sankt Hans Torv in the heart of the Nørrebro district of Copenhagen, Denmark. Opened in 1861, it was the first church to be built outside the city's old fortification ring when it was decommissioned and new residential neighbourhoods sprung up outside the former city gates.

Nørrebro Bryghus is a Danish microbrewery located in the Nørrebro neighborhood of Copenhagen. They have an annual production of 50,000-60,000 hectoliters.Nørrebro Bryghus opened in September 2003 and was founded by ex-Carlsberg brewmaster Anders Kissmeyer. The brewery is known for their wide array of beer styles and for producing beer in the American microbrewery tradition.In both 2008 and 2010 the brewery won awards at the World Beer Cup, the biggest international beer competition in the world.In January 2023 Nørrebro Bryghus was bought by Royal Unibrew, Denmark's second largest brewing group.

Alderstrøst refers to two residential complexes built by Association of Craftsmen in Copenhagen to provide affordable housing for elderly, indigent members and their widows in the Nørrebro district of Copenhagen, Denmark. The oldest is located on Nørrebrogade (Nørrebrogade 17, Baggesensgade 10 and Blågårdsgade 9). The other one is located at the corner of Nørre Allé (No. 15–19) and Møllegade (No. 28–30). The Nørreborgade complex is no longer owned by Håndværkerforeningen.

Møllegade (lit. "Mill Street") is a street in the Nørrebro district of Copenhagen, Denmark. It runs from Nørrebrogade in the southwest to Nørre Allé in the northeast. Copenhagen's Jewish Northern Cemetery has its entrance on the south side of the street and De Gamles By is located on its north side.

The Jewish Northern Cemetery in Nørrebro was formerly the principal Jewish cemetery in Copenhagen, Denmark. It has an area of 13,500 square metres and contains some 5,500 burials.
