The Birla Institute of Scientific Research (BISR) is a private not-for-profit research institute based in Jaipur, India. The organization is a sisters concern of Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, Ranchi. The institute's research goals is purely on Research and Development in frontiers areas of Biotechnology, Bioinformatics and Remote Sensing. The institute has had a few funded projects from Department of Science and Technology, Indian Council of Medical Research, Government of India. Sawai Man Singh Hospital is the major hospital of Jaipur and Rajasthan state of India. This government hospital is staffed with 1500 doctors and 4000 nurses with 6251 beds in 43 wards and daily more than 10000 OPD.In fact it surpassed AIIMS Delhi in terms of number of patients in OPD and surgeries. The construction of the hospital building began in 1934. The hospital is named after Sawai Man Singh II, then King of Jaipur. The hospital also provides practical training to the students of the Sawai Man Singh Medical College. SMS hospital is under pressure due to a large number of patients and rare diseased patients from across the state as it is one of the few government super speciality hospitals.Presently, there are over 168 beds in intensive care units and 51 in semi-intensive care units of the hospital. But the shortage of nursing staff is a concern in intensive care units. The ratio of nursing staff in intensive care units is one nurse per 6-7 beds at the hospital. However, it has been recommended that there should be one nurse for two patients in intensive care units. It is recognised as one of the best hospitals in India, with many faculties working all over the world. It was this hospital which acted very fast on COVID-19 in its initial phase in 2020. The Sawai Mansingh Stadium is a cricket stadium in Jaipur, Rajasthan, India. It was named after Sawai Man Singh II, the former Maharaja of the state of Jaipur. It is situated at one corner of the PKMB. The stadium seats 30,000. As of July 2013, the stadium and grounds could be toured using Google Street View. As of 19 Aug 2017 it has hosted 1 Test and 19 ODIs.

Sawai Mansingh Indoor Stadium is an indoor stadium located in Jaipur, Rajasthan. Facilities include player change rooms and lounge, control and medical rooms, media centre, state-of-the-art-acoustics and parking facilities. The stadium can also be used for many non sporting events or accommodate any indoor sporting event played at the Olympics. The stadium is owed and managed by Rajasthan State Sports Council. The stadium is the home of the Pro Kabaddi League team Jaipur Pink Panthers owned by actor Abhishek Bachchan. The Jaipur Pink Panthers won the inaugural edition of the league in 2014.
