York-Oyster Bed is a former provincial electoral district for the Legislative Assembly of Prince Edward Island, Canada, which was represented from 2007 to 2019. The district was named Stanhope-East Royalty from 1996 until 2007.

CIOG-FM is a Canadian Christian radio station, broadcasting at 91.3 FM in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island with a rebroadcaster CIOG-FM-1 at 92.5 FM in Summerside.Owned by the International Harvesters for Christ Evangelistic Association, the station was licensed in 2008.On June 16, 2010, CIOG applied to the CRTC to change its frequency for its Summerside transmitter from 91.1 to 92.5 MHz; the frequency change was approved on August 13, 2010.On October 12, 2011, CIOG applied to the CRTC to increase power from 50 watts to 250 watts on both 91.3 and 92.5; the transmitter site for 91.3 will be relocated under the proposal.On February 6, 2013, the CRTC approved the application by the station to change the authorized contours of 91.3 by increasing its effective radiated power (ERP) from 50 to 250 watts, and to change the authorized contours of 92.5 by increasing that transmitter's ERP from 50 to 250 watts.

CBSA officers at this airport can handle aircraft with no more than 60 passengers or 368 if off-loaded in stages.

Lot 34 is a township in Queens County, Prince Edward Island, Canada. It is part of Charlotte Parish. Lot 34 was awarded to John Dickson in the 1767 land lottery while Dickson was the Member of Parliament (MP) for Peeblesshire. Sir James Montgomery, 1st Baronet obtained the land upon Dickson's death. As of the 2006 census, there were 2,355 people living on a land area of 92.12 square kilometres (35.57 sq mi).

East Royalty is a neighbourhood of the Canadian city of Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island. East Royalty is located in the northeast portion of the city and occupies the eastern part of the township of Queens Royalty. Originally a rural farming community, East Royalty became an incorporated village before being amalgamated into Charlottetown on April 1, 1995.

The Charlottetown meteorite was a meteorite fall observed on July 25, 2024. It is notable as the first meteorite known with video and audio of the impact recorded and as the only known meteorite fall in Prince Edward Island, Canada. The Charlottetown meteorite is classified as H5 ordinary chondrite. Its impact left a divot measuring about 2 cm (0.79 in) across.

It was created prior to the 2019 election from parts of the former districts Tracadie-Hillsborough Park, York-Oyster Bed and Charlottetown-Sherwood. The riding is located in the city of Charlottetown, and includes the neighbourhoods of East Royalty, Hillsborough Park and Falconwood.

Brackley is a rural municipality in Prince Edward Island, Canada. It is located on the northern boundary of Charlottetown, adjoining the Charlottetown Airport that is in the neighbourhood of Sherwood. Brackley originally incorporated in 1983. It absorbed the adjacent former municipality of Winsloe South via amalgamation on December 15, 2017.

Sherwood is a neighbourhood of the city of Charlottetown in central Queens County, Prince Edward Island, Canada. Sherwood is centrally located in Charlottetown on the border of Queens Royalty and the township of Lot 33. Originally the settlement was known as Sherwood Station, as it was located on the mainline of the Prince Edward Island Railway running from Charlottetown to Royalty Junction (where the line bifurcated east to Mount Stewart and west to Emerald. Sherwood Station was incorporated as a village in 1960 and its name was shortened to Sherwood in 1983. The village was amalgamated into the city of Charlottetown on April 1, 1995. Sherwood was largely a farming district, located east of the royalty's common pasture land (present-day Agriculture Canada experimental farm). It bordered Charlottetown and West Royalty on the west, Parkdale on the south, and East Royalty on the east. One of the biggest changes that came to Sherwood occurred in 1938 when a 300-acre (1.2 km2) parcel on the northern edge of the community was purchased by the city of Charlottetown to create an airport. The Charlottetown Airport remains a defining landmark in the north-central part of the city and has had a major influence on Sherwood's post-war development. During the 1960s-1990s, much of the remaining farmland in Sherwood was developed in housing projects which resulted in many single-detached homes constructed throughout the area, making Sherwood one of PEI's top-five communities in terms of population. Sherwood is home to the Sherwood Falcons of the Island Junior Hockey League, as well as the Sherwood Metros of the Prince Edward Island Junior C Hockey League. Presently a neighbourhood, Sherwood has a mix of housing, commercial and light industrial districts.

Stanhope-Marshfield is a provincial electoral district for the Legislative Assembly of Prince Edward Island, Canada. It was created prior to the 2019 election from parts of the former districts Tracadie-Hillsborough Park and York-Oyster Bed. The riding consists of rural communities north-east of Charlottetown, including Brackley Beach, Marshfield, and Stanhope.
