West River, Prince Edward Island

Kellys Cross-Cumberland was a provincial electoral district for the Legislative Assembly of Prince Edward Island, Canada. It was previously known as Crapaud-Hazel Grove. It was the first provincial constituency to elect a member of the Green Party, and only the second provincial constituency to elect a member of any third party. Peter Bevan-Baker defeated the Liberal candidate Valerie Docherty in the provincial election on May 4, 2015.

Bonshaw is a former rural municipality in the Canadian province of Prince Edward Island within Queens County.

Lot 65 is a township in Queens County, Prince Edward Island, Canada. It is part of Hillsboro Parish. Lot 65 was awarded to Richard Wright and Hugh Owens in the 1767 land lottery. In 1796, then-Lieutenant Governor Edmund Fanning granted Lot 65 to fellow Loyalist Andrew Ladner, with Louisa Augusta Fanning and Peter MacGowan as witnesses. Both Fanning and Ladner were Loyalist immigrants from the newly formed United States. Andrew Lander died in 1836 and is buried on the lot, in the location now known as Nine Mile Creek.

Bonshaw Provincial Park is a provincial park with hiking trails in Prince Edward Island, Canada. It has over 18km of hiking trails. Its main trail is named Ji'ka'we'katik-meaning "the place where bass is plentiful"-its traditional Mi'kmaq name.

It is located in the township of Lot 65, Queens County immediately west of New Haven. Churchill is located in the Bonshaw Hills, a high land in the centre of the province. Strathgartney Hill separates the community from Bonshaw to the west.

CBCT-FM is a Canadian radio station. It is the CBC Radio One affiliate for all of Prince Edward Island, with studios in Charlottetown, broadcasting at 96.1 MHz.

CHTN-FM is a Canadian radio station broadcasting in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, at 100.3 FM with a classic hits format branded as Ocean 100. The station is owned by the Stingray Group which also owns sister station CKQK-FM. CHTN's studios & offices are located at 176 Great George Street in Downtown Charlottetown. The station was launched on December 25, 1974, originally broadcasting from a bungalow on North River Road at 1190 AM before moving to 720 which was approved in 1987 to eliminate the nighttime interference from WOWO, out of Fort Wayne, Indiana. In the early 1990s, Newcap entered into a shared-facilities partnership with Maritime Broadcasting System Ltd, the owner of the competing CFCY and CHLQ-FM. Part of the agreement with MBS saw CHTN move to exclusively offer a popular oldies format. CHTN consolidated its broadcasting facilities with MBS for several years at 141 Kent St., and later on the Charlottetown waterfront, until 2005 when the federal regulator, the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC), ordered the broadcasters to operate separately. This precipitated a move by Newcap to surrender its AM licence and apply for its current FM frequency of 100.3, as well as open a new sister station, CKQK-FM. CHTN officially moved to its current frequency and format on July 5, 2006 at 8:05 a.m. It was simulcast on its AM frequency for three months before the AM transmitter was shut down. The first song played was "Start Me Up" by The Rolling Stones. The broadcast staff at the time were; Kirk & Kerri-Wynne (Mornings), Corey Tremere (mid-days), Gerard Murphy (Afternoons) and Gregg MacEwen (Evenings).

CKQK-FM is a radio station broadcasting at 105.5 FM in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, Canada with a Top 40/CHR format branded on-air as Hot 105.5. The station is owned by the Stingray Group which also owns sister station CHTN-FM. CKQK's studios & offices are located at 176 Great George Street in the downtown Charlottetown area. On July 11, 2006 Newcap received approval from the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC) to operate a new FM radio station at Charlottetown.The station launched on July 25, 2006 under an active rock format branded as K-Rock 105.5 but was re-branded under a new format on January 12, 2012, with the station's last song AC/DC's "Thunderstruck," being abruptly cut mid-way at 1:05 PM (AST) in favour of a lengthy launch montage that was then followed by the first song under the new format being Flo Rida's "Good Feeling." CKQK's current logo and presentation is being patterned after its sister station CIHT-FM in Ottawa.On November 13, 2008, CKQK applied to add a new FM transmitter at Elmira and another at St. Edward. The application was approved on January 19, 2009. Based on the current format, CKQK currently competes with the Summerside-based CJRW-FM (with a standard AC format).

Argyle Shore Provincial Park is a provincial park on Prince Edward Island, Canada. It opened in 1961 and is 9.59 ha. The park's name comes from the area's early 19th-century settlers from Argyle Shire, Scotland.

Clyde River is a rural municipality in Prince Edward Island, Canada. Clyde River is located in Queens County in the central part of Prince Edward Island and just 15 minutes away from Charlottetown. The original community name was Dog River (changed to Clyde River sometime around 1864). It was named after the River Clyde in Scotland. Heritage is predominantly Scottish and English.
